I’m still thinking about it. I really want to join in, but there are several others I like as well – so I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet.

  2. Greta says:

You better start cutting 🙂 Not what you were looking for? Sorry. My jelly rolls of Innocent Crush are being shipped on Monday and I am joining in. Looking forward to more finished quilts this year.

  3. Becky says:

That’s a GREAT stack of fabric. I love rainbow quilts!! I’m doing her quilt a long, but simplifying with my Central Park jelly roll. I too have signed on for too much this winter.

  4. Oooooh and aaaaaaahhh to the fabric.. and to talk you down.. hmmm.
UFO, UFO.. they are out to get you.. LOL..
Gosh those fabrics are know you will use them for SOMETHING..

  5. Jo says:

Well I am definitely not the one to talk you down, as I’m totally joining in this one! I’ve been wanting to do a postage stamp quilt for ages, and this is the kick I need to get started.

  6. Jackie says:

You have a beautiful stack of fabric! You’ve probably come to the wrong place for a talk down though! GO FOR IT!

  7. That is a wonderful stack of fabric and it would look fabulous!! I was super tempted to join in as well but alas, am floating in the same boat of to many projects of my own. (That and I am pretty sure I have decided to start my own quilt-a-long next month 🙂 So I opted out, but I did link it to a wonderful file that I have saved for all the quilts I want to make when I have more time, tee hee hee 🙂

  8. Elizabeth says:

I am going to quilt along with Central Park(like Becky ; ). I think you should join us!

  9. ktquilts4fun says:

I am in no position to tell you to stop!!! I may be queen of the UFO!!

My theory is that if I already own the fabric, it is better to enjoy it!!

  10. OMG–I could post these very same thoughts on my blog! But sadly enough, I plan on joining! 2011 will be my year to finish my UFOs 🙂

  11. Terriaw says:

Love that stack of fabrics! How fun was that pulling a rainbow selection of colors. These are going to make a gorgeous postage stamp quilt.

  12. mary says:

You will never find the voice of reason here! Go for it! Love the apple fabric….it will be perfect with the others. What’s another project anyway???

  13. Fiona says:

I’m doing the postage stamp quilt along too, using a freebird jellyroll I’ve had for a while. Your stack looks fantastic now, but will be gorgeous once transformed into postage stamps and the farmdale will be the perfect backing……. Go on, you know you want to 😉

  14. Alexis says:

Your fabrics are making me want to join the quilt along too! That stack would be a lovely Postage Stamp quilt and the apples- swoon! Perfection! Happy sewing!

  15. Julie says:

Looks to me like your mind is already made up 😉

  16. Katie B says:

Well….you definitely need to make SOMETHING with that lovely pile.

  17. Megan says:

That quilt-along sounds fun! I wonder if it would be a scrap friendly project? I love your rainbow stack!

  18. traceyjay says:

the stack is pretty great… I must admit. 😉

  19. Nikki says:

I am trying to convince myself not to get in on this one, but i really want to! I committed to your embroidery blocks ( and finished January plus pieced all 11 other blocks!), and i didn’t want to add to my list so early in the year. But I’m still thinking about it…

  20. Nope, can’t talk you down….in fact, you may have talked me into it! I have always admired postage stamp quilts….not to mention rainbows! I may have to borrow that idea…. 🙂 Love the farmdale as well!

  21. Justine says:

That stash looks great and the farmdale is just too gorgeous!

I am so NOT signing up to anything else! I noted down in my new 2011 sewing project book all the quilts I wanted to make this year, I have the fabric for most of them – shame I don’t have the time! There were nearly 15!!!

  22. I’m not going to try to talk you down. I’m not sure if I’m going to sign up. BUT…I may order a roll of Soul Blossom. And that Farmdale fabric would be perfect for a rainbow back. I have Farmdale, just not in that colorway. Hmmm….

And I’m making like THREE of your Birdie Stitches quilts, in different fabrics. I’ll post soon.

  23. Deb says:

Oh count me in. I have a ton of jelly rolls begging to be used. I LOVE that apple fabric. I think you should do it 😉

  24. SteffiD87 says:

I would totally scrap the idea for the postage stamp quilt, and turn that FABULOUS stack of colors into a zig-zag instead! Would that not be GORGEOUS?! Ahhh, if only my stash were bigger. *sigh*

  25. Melanie says:

Oh, but you’ve already picked out the fabric…you have to make something with it!! Do it, Do it, Do it!

I’m joining in! I am using a City Weekend jelly roll that I am dying to cut into!

  26. Sherri says:

Love this stack of fabric…and what perfect backing to go with it!

  27. Rhanda J says:

With such a pretty stack of fabrics?! How could you not join. 😉 I am going to participate… my jelly roll is on it’s way. But I think I like your fabrics better.

  28. wendy says:

I’ll talk you out of it. No, it’s a bad idea, you’ll regret it. Instead, you should send the fabric to me and I’ll love it for you… ;0)

  29. Suzanne says:

HI, I have just found your website through another one by way of your birdie quilt along. I am joining along in the quilt along and I have just spent a while looking through your blog and it is great. I look forward to doing each block each month. I also have heaps of other blogs to check out from all your links. Boy – you sure are a busy girl and so creative. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with.

  30. Sonia says:

I am also doing the postage stamp. I love the fabrics you have pulled out you really should join in.

  31. Maria says:

Sorry, I’m not the person to talk you down either! My jelly rolls are on the way and I can’t wait to get started.
However, you do already have a completed postage stamp and 1″ no less! Sit back , relax and work on your other beautiful projects ; )

  32. BROOKE says:

Are you looking to fellow quilters to try to convince you NOT to start a new project, join in a quilt along, and cut into that adorable fabric???

    Have you met fellow quilters??

    Silly you! 🙂

See you at the flickr group for the postage stamp quilt along! Ha!!!

  33. Amelia says:

I love rainbow fabric stacks … so pretty! I was wondering what the name of 2 of your dandelion prints are called … the grey one 5th from the top and the blue/aqua one next to the green prints?
    Thanks, Amelia 🙂
