I joined your little Birdies a bit later than most and am caught between playing catch up and wanting to keep the blocks I’ve made to embroider them on my summer holidays – each new block is so tempting, it’s hard to wait. Anyway, this is just my way of saying a thank you to you for sharing your design with us – tis one is my first ever BOM and it has been so much fun!

  14. Amanda says:

Super cute block this month, but I have a concern: the block is printing out much smaller this month then is usually does. I’m currently working on resizing it for myself, but is there a chance you could do that as well?

    • Corey says:

It should print out exactly the size that it should be. Two things for you to double check: make sure that the “page scaling” is set to none and that you don’t have any Adobe Acrobat updates that need to be made–both of those things can effect the way the pdf will print–the page scaling for sure will.

      • Amanda says:

Thank you for replying both here and the email!

One thing I find interesting is that when I opened the PDF I downloaded into Photoshop, it displayed the image side ways (running vertical) rather than horizontal. Every month, I’ve just printed from the download page with no issues until this month. I did also check my print scaling and that did not seem to be the issue. Just that printing from my browser, the image ran to fit the width of the paper rather then the height.

        • Corey says:

Hmmm…I wonder what could be doing that? In any event, I did rescan and post a new pdf which should eliminate any problems just in case anyone else was having the same issues! =)

          • Michelle Egan says:

I seem to be having this sizing issue every month. I just printed off this months block and it prints as a full A4 page.

          • Michelle Egan says:

I just double checked my page scaling and reset it to none and that did work! Yay! Thanks for the tip and love your blocks 🙂

  15. Jane says:

I love it, the loveliest month!!!

Congratulation! My little girl(7) and me are fan for the patterns!

    Have a Nice day!!!

  39. Lauren says:

If you put a thin layer of batting under the white fabric of the quilt blocks you embroidered, and then embroidered into the batting as you went along, once finished, a press upside down onto a towel your work would come out nice and flat, no wrinkles that detracts from the design and the stitches would stand up better. I am a long time embroiderer and this would help your work look more professional.
