Sunday Best Quilts Sampler Block 3

Sweet Confetti Sampler Block

Welcome to week three of the Sunday Best Quilts Sampler sew along.

I have so been enjoying seeing your pretty blocks pop up both on Facebook and on Instagram.  The #sundaybestquiltssampler on Instagram has so many pretty pictures.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Today we are making the Sweet Confetti Sampler block.

It’s no secret that I love scrappy quilts so I really enjoyed designing a quilt for the Scrappy quilt section of Sunday Best Quilts.

Just a pretty scrappy mix using Strawbery Jam, Lollipop Garden, and Chantilly

This is a great time to mix and match pretty fabrics.  For the Sweet Confetti quilt in the book, I used many different fabric lines from many different designers.

For my Sweet Confetti sampler block, I used all fabrics from Sugarcreek.

I was asked to list the exact prints I’ve used in each of my posts so you can easily duplicate my block.  These are the fabrics that I used:

29070-11

29070-20

29072-14

29074-19

29073-17

29073-16

29075-21

29075-32

Many more quilt shops have gotten in Sugarcreek fabrics over the past week including the Sugarcreek wovens so you should be able to find them in your local shops.

Note:  In your book on page 29 at the top of the page you will see the fabric requirements for one rectangular half block.  We will be making 8 half blocks so you will need those requirements times 8. =)

Be sure to stop by Sherri’s site to look at her beautiful Sweet Confetti block.

And in case you missed any posts this week:

On Monday I shared my brand new Canning Day fabrics and quilt patterns.  You can see that post here.  If you’d like to see these fabrics and patterns in your local quilt shop, be sure to ask your shops to stock them.

And on Wednesday, I kicked off a brand new series called Wondering Wednesday.  You can read more about that series here.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. =)
