Cuter in Mini

Why is it that things are always cuter when they are mini–puppies, babies, coopers(is there such a thing as a non-mini cooper?).  For my pinwheel sampler quilt, I decided to add the mini pinwheels to my quilt like the original quilt that Rachel made.  I thought they added a little extra pizzazz and were just pretty stinkin’ cute.  They took a little bit of time but all in all were easy to whip out.  I started with 1 7/8″ squares to construct my HST’s which finished the pinwheels out at 2.5″ or 2″ within the quilt.
And a little sneak peek at my quilt:
I still need to add the 3″ cream borders & then it will be finished.  I haven’t decided yet how to quilt it–I’m thinking all over pattern, any suggestions?

Hooray! I finished my pinwheel quilt top, complete with the mini pinwheels, too. I'm also at a loss for how to quilt it, too much pressure! 😉

Ladybug–go right ahead–I just copied Rachel's quilt which she copied from someone else heehee! =) Definitely go for it Mary–they are fun to make and they whip up pretty quickly.

I like it! I was thinking of adding some small pinwheels but didn't think of it for the sashing I was thinking border. But I like this better!
