Introducing Apricot & Ash
Hello Friends–today I am pleased to introduce you to my next line of fabric, Apricot & Ash.
Escape to a countryside filled with the sweet roses and the scents of late summer. Feel the sunshine on your face as you lift your eyes to see the final dappled colors of the season. The light filters down through branches just starting to show off their leaves of splendor. And this, my friend, is where you will find Apricot & Ash; tucked at the end of summer with all of the warmth and beauty of a new season’s beginning. Filled with roses, and buds, you’ll find the golden colors of late summer as you wonder down the ash colored paths meandering through the garden. Sweet gingham and ticking stripes perfectly compliment the flower tossed fabrics. The Apricot & Ash panel is my tribute to summers past… when the evenings began to cool and thoughts turn once again to hand work by the fire creating spectacular Baltimore Album and Rose of Sharon sampler quilts. The panel can be used on its own to create a whole cloth quilt or used in pieced blocks and other projects. Create a rose garden to enjoy year round with Apricot & Ash.
It has been so much fun to work with these fabrics over the last few months and I’m excited to be sharing them with you here today. If you follow me on Instagram you may have gotten a peek of these already.
Apricot & Ash is full of sweet roses, leaves, checks, and stripes in the most luscious shades of coral, apricot, peach, green, and gray.
I have also designed a panel that features Baltimore Album or Rose of Sharon sampler type blocks. They are the perfect mix of traditional meets fresh and allow you to create these beautiful samplers with ease. I have been having so much fun playing with the panel!
The panel is 60″ wide fabric and a repeat is 1 yard (36″) sold off the bolt. This means that with the purchase of two panels (2 yards of fabric) you can create a whole cloth quilt that would measure 60″ x 72″. I cannot wait to show you what using just the panel for a quilt looks like!
The Apricot & Ash panel is available on either a warm white or a dark gray background and what you are seeing is one full repeat. There are 24 different blocks on one panel. =)
I will be sharing my new patterns to go with this line here soon. The PDF versions of the patterns are in my shop right now if you’d like to get a sneak peek. Paper versions of the patterns will be arriving next week.
If you would like to see these fabrics in your local quilt shops, be sure to let them know to order Apricot & Ash. They can order right now to have these fabrics delivered in August. Shops haven’t been able to meet with their sales reps as they normally do so I am sure they would appreciate any input their customers might have.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a peek at my new fabrics. =) See you tomorrow for another Moda Block Heads block. =)
Corey

This is the best comment ever! =) Thank you!
simply stunning and those colors!
Thank you so much Suzy!
Oh my gosh, this fabric line is AMAZING!!
Thank you!–I’ve been having so much fun with it. =)
When will you offer them on your etsy
I do not usually sell fabric in my Etsy shop. You can, however, let your local quilt shop know that you would like to see them locally. If you don’t have a local quilt shop, you will be able to purchase them online when they come out in August.
This is absolutely lovely! Ginghams bring out the country girl in me, and I love the lovely soft palette. Will be anxious to make something from Apricot and Ash!
Those ginghams in there are so sweet, aren’t they. =) Can’t wait to see what you make with the line!
I cannot wait till Apricot and Ash hits the market. Looking do forward to making a quilt with this fabric. Yummy❣️
Thank you so much!
Beautiful! I just might be ready for a panel or two plus fabric by August. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us.
It’s nice to see little peeks before the fabric hits stores so you can plan what you might want to purchase in the upcoming months. =)
Oh my goodness. These are lovely. The panel is amazing. I can hardly wait til i see it in the stores. Thank you for this blog i so enjoy it. I just keep thinking you are a sister from another mother. I am sure it us because of your names as i have Yoders and Hershbergers in the family lineage. I also have Amish and Mennonite heritage. Thank you for sharing of your design talents with us.
Thanks so much Kari!–Stutzman feels like family to me–my sister is a Stutzman. =)
What a clever use of a panel in your Friendly Neighbor pattern!!!! That is brilliant! Love this new line!
Corey, where did you get the little wooden divided box? I need that! 🙂
Isn’t that little box so cute!–I got it from this Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/681090652/ruler-boxyardstick?ref=shop_home_active_8&crt=1&source=aw&utm_source=affiliate_window&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=us_location_buyer&utm_term=3657&utm_content=662361&awc=6220_1587486746_3bb2b204e02e0f2f3984d5b509c098a7
Yes! Adorable. Thank you for responding, Corey!
Ticking stripes! Be still my heart! 🙂
Oh Corey….that is,BEAUTIFUL!! Where can I get it….
Love– Love it all! I have preordered the Friendly Neighbor kit! The little gingham blocks are something I also love. Of course, I have most of your lines and could do a few of them and then mix them with the Apricot and Ash. What size are those cute little blocks—Please?
Gorgeous, as always. I have three Strawberry Jam quilts (including Goodness Grows), as well as one each of almost every other line you’ve ever designed — and I’ve only been quilting for 18 months, so you know that’s involved some serious Etsy/eBay fabric mining! Apricot & Ash looks like another three-fer! (Also can’t wait for the Christmas line; already signed up for the BOM 😀)
Corey, as usual, you have outdone yourself! Those soft colors with the punch of dark grey are going to make some wonderful quilts. I hope I’m done with all the Holliberry quilts by then! Oh, who am I kidding? Thanks for more gorgeous fabric!
“Oh My” you did it again !!!! The colors are “SO YUMMY”. I can’t sew fast enough to use ALL the beautiful fabric!!
This is soooo gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what I make with this. I have so many of your quilt patterns to pick from! I’m also so anxious for your Christmas fabrics to come out!! My patterns are waiting for that too! Happy dance during these difficult days! 😃😃😃❤️
What a beautiful range of colors! Can’t wait to get my hands on this!!!
Every time you introduce a new line I say “this is my favorite” – but in reality it’s true because they all are wonderful! Looking forward to purchasing your newest line for sure. It really does say summer. You are so talented (not sure how you do it all) and thank you for sharing!
I wanted to rewatch the video you did introducing this line, now I can’t find it! what platform is it on? Wanted to see what bella solids you showed with the line, thanks!
Absolutely Beautiful!
Beautiful collection. We can’t for it to arrive in the shop!
Oh Congratualtions! This collection is beautiful! I love the panel and will have to get it and the collection!
Oh my – this just speaks to me. LOVE the colors and design!
I’ve already pre ordered Some if this line!! Can’t wait to get it!!!
Well… you have outdone yourself. Apricot and Grey are my bedroom colors and master bath. So I guess I get to keep this one for myself. I like the green you did with it but will need to look for a different green, more teal to go with the grey green In my bedroom. I’m not sure how your bright green will play out but we shall see. This is definitely on my order list. Thanks for your beautiful color way and creative design. I’m a southern girl in Idaho and will love working with this fabric I’m sure.
Just beautiful. So fresh. Can’t wait to see it in person.
One word….Stunning! you are such a talent! Thanks for sharing!
