NEW Fruit Salad Fabrics!

I can’t believe that it’s already time to start chatting about another new fabric line! =) Before I share the collection write-up…thank you so much for all of the “get better soon” messages last week. I am glad to have that sickness moved on out! It was so encouraging to see all of the messages both here on my blog as well as over on YouTube…you guys are the best! And now onto Fruit Salad. =)

Fruit Salad is my latest collection with Moda Fabrics, and it’s my favorite collection to date! Inspired by the joy of bright, sun-ripened fruit and the carefree days of warm weather sewing, Fruit Salad is a playful mix of color, whimsy, and nostalgia.

This collection is bursting with juicy hues…think strawberry reds, lemony yellows, peachy corals, zesty oranges, and lime greens. I’ve added a brand new emerald green color to the mix. It’s a rich, vibrant shade that adds beautiful depth to the palette and plays so nicely with all the fruity brights. There’s also a splash of blueberry and raspberry to round it all out. Each color feels like a spoonful of sunshine.

The prints are just as joyful: gingham checks, pin dots, and enough fruit to fill a summer fruit stand. Of course, no collection is complete without a stripe or two (they make the best bindings, don’t they?).

Whether you’re stitching a picnic quilt, a pretty apron, or something completely unexpected, I can’t wait to see the delicious projects you whip up with these sweet, summery prints. When life gives you lemons, make a fruit salad and keep everyone guessing!

I’m sharing all of the new prints in today’s video. You can watch here.

In today’s video, I am also sharing the Cali & Co. mystery block #9 tutorial. You may have already grabbed the block pattern last week but if not, here it is again.

Cali & Co. Mystery Block #9

Just like last month, with all of the HSTs completed, this block goes together quickly. Hope you have fun sewing it up. =)

Next week, I’ll be sharing more about the new Fruit Salad patterns…I have a fun line-up! If you aren’t already a YouTube subscriber, I’d love to have you join in! Corey

Love the green in the Fruit Salad fabric line. It would be nice if you would incorporate it more in future fabric releases. Right now I’m anxiously waiting for In The Garden to make its debut in the quilt shots. Already have the Moda box on hold at Fat Quarter Shoppe for November. Pleased to be sharing my Saturday with you again. Be safe this coming week.

Hello Corey and Nichole, I cannot wait for this fabric to become available! I absolutely love the colors and design. I will be spending some time deciding on a pattern just for this beautiful fabric. Do you have pattern suggestions???

Hello Corey. You made my day with the Fruit Salad. It reminds of my Mother when she sewed aprons in the 50s. I love it I want to make a table cover for my table on deck. I hope your daughters ankle healed fast. I’m in the same shape as of this last Sat. Emergency put a brace on my foot and told to stay off for a week, Its hard. I’m 78 yrs old. I fell backwards (why we don’t know) on hard tile head ended up in a window frame. Had x-ray for foot and cat scan full head and side of face. I am so lucky it wasn’t broken. Nothing wrong, my balance is off since I had a bad case RSV 3yrs ago. I just keep on falling whenever. Thank to God I believe is watching over me when I go to fall. Now I have to use a walker which I have ignored my family about one, just a little stubborn. HA I have always been very active its been hard be stuck at home.
I look for Sat to come to see what new and I love seeing you cats. I had to put my last one down in 24.
    Bless you family,

Yahoo blocked my email for a couple days in early Sept, while demanding that I pay for their service, & I was kicked off of your blog.
I’ve tried resubscribing, but I still don’t receive your posts.
Can you help to reinstate me?
