Sew Sampler Saturday
It worked….my telling you yesterday that I wanted to share these blocks with you today got me to finish them up. =)
Here are the first 5 blocks of the Goodness Grows block of the month:
These blocks are included in Fat Quarter Shop’s monthly subscription box, Sew Sampler. This is a block of the month that I designed for FQS–they are also available for non Sew Sampler subscribers here.
This fun little basket block is Block #6, Bloom in Season, of the Goodness Grows Block of the Month. I sewed this block up yesterday.
And this is block #7, Nourish Yourself. And this one I sewed up yesterday as well. So now, I am all caught up.
There will be a total of 12 blocks in the Goodness Grows Sampler. The fabrics I am using are from my Strawberry Jam Collection. The kit using Strawberry Jam sold out over the summer but the Sugarcreek kit has just been released. The Sugarcreek kit is available here–these blocks are so pretty using Sugarcreek fabrics! Note: the kit includes the fabrics only–patterns need to be purchased separately if you are not a member of the Sew Sampler Subscription box.
Because I’ve talked about the Sew Sampler Box a bit in this post, I thought I would share a bit more about this box. You can find more specific details about the box here.
And here is what came inside the October Box:
An Adventure Fat Eighth Bundle — This is a mix of Elizabeth Hartman fabrics and Essex Yarn Dyed Linens
A cute little tin to store your fabric what-nots. I have quite a few different tins of this sort and I like using them to store all kinds of things in my sewing room.
Sewing Edge Stops I haven’t used this product but I do see them in use quite a bit when I am teaching classes.
Mini Kona Color Calendar A cute little desk calendar
Banana Leaves is the box exclusive pattern and I linked to the Goodness Grows pattern up above.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek into the Sew Sampler box and my finished Goodness Grows blocks. I was glad to have that little push to get my blocks caught up.
Have a wonderful weekend sewing!–I will see you on Tuesday for the next About Town Tuesdays post. =)
