Moda Blockheads Round 5 (Group 2): Block 6
Happy Moda Blockheads day! Today our block is brought to us by Melody Miller. Just looking at it, you might think it’s a paper pieced block, but no!, it’s all traditionally pieced.
You’ll find the pattern for the Favorite Vintage Star block here.
For this block, the blue fabric is from Blueberry Delight and the white is from Peachy Keen. And it really was a nice, simple block to piece…even it that might not look to be the case!
All of my pretty little blocks are shaping up nicely!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday! Corey
I see a snowflake Christmas quilt!
It sure could be!
this is very pretty block -love it
And a fun one to make!
Love it! I have visions of a snowman quilt w/snowflakes.
It would really make a beautiful quilt on its own.
What a lovely block thanks Cory and I agree would make a lovely Christmas quilt
It sure would!
I thought paper pieced too!Pretty snowflake.
It was so simple!
I am trying to find Sunwashed jelly roll and coorindating fabrics to do Sunny Patches block of month quilt. Is there one place that I can find all of these fabrics? When I tried Etsy, I could not find one site with all fabrics. Is this collection still available? Thank you
It is still in quilt shops. It came out early last year so as the fabrics sell out of quilt shops they are no longer available. Etsy is a great place to check as well as doing a google search. You might not be able to find all of what you need in one shop.
Yes, indeed, Corey, all of your cute blocks are shaping up soooooo nicely. I love the pic of all of them together. I can see why you’re pairing up Blueberry Delight with your Peachy Keen. They go together so well!
I’ve been so happy with that pairing!
Corey, I ordered the Feb $5 quilt but haven’t been able to download it.
Send me a message via Etsy and I’ll be happy to help!
