I am not a scrap quilter and I try hard to not leave scraps when I quilt. I use up as much of them as I can by piecing them into the backing. What I can’t goes into a “special” box under my sewing machine table. What I simply can’t resist are all those freebie HST’s created by “snowballing.” I press and trim them to the largest size possible as I “create” them and they go into a different scrap box. At the end of a project that is a quilt for a baby or child, I pull out both boxes and use them to make a matching dolly quilt. I don’t use any specific pattern for blocks, just go with what works best with the scrap fabric I have.
Corey, both your projects are beautiful, it will be a tough choice for me. I was wondering if you used cording in the binding, your pillow is so crisp and perfect. I’m looking forward to your 2026 idea for the sew along, so clever. Thanks for your generous gift of patterns.

I made the 2025 Mystery Quilt and I love it. I would like to make it bigger, for a queen size bed, any suggestions???
