Happy Tuesday friends!
I wanted to pop in with a couple updates for you this week. First up, a shipping update on Coriander Seeds…I’ve been getting asked about when we can expect these pretty white on whites in quilt shops.
Right now, they are showing a June shipment to quilt shops…I will let you all know if that changes!
I also wanted to let you know that we have reached another milestone in the Heartfelt Charity quilt along and a new wallhanging pattern has been released. You will find it here.
Lastly, the 4th video in my “Making of a Book” series released this morning. You can watch it here.
I’d love if you’d watch and then leave me a comment (on YouTube) with any questions you may have had while you’ve watched these behind the scenes peeks. I am planning a Q&A video to release soon for this series and I’d love to answer the things you’ve been wondering about.
Speaking of Q&A videos….do you remember those weekly Q&A’s I did a few years ago here on my blog–when I took your questions and answered several in detail, weekly? I’m considering bringing that back in video format…maybe not weekly but “Quilty Q&A” every now and again. If you would like to see a series like this, leave me a comment here on my blog with a question that you’d like answered. If I have enough questions, I’ll film one and see where it goes. =)

I am enjoying your videos; your fabric designs are simply breath taking. My daughters love your color variations and how they look in a quilt. I was wondering if you would please show alternative border and pieced backings. You make it looks so simple. -Sara
I would love Q and A’s! One thing I would love you to show is accurate cutting. I feel like that is so key, but I haven’t found many great videos of it. I’d love an in depth exploration of that, from preparing the fabric, making sure you fold it correctly, lining rulers up correctly.

What precut do I need to make all of the Moda blocks in Cozy Up? Pat
In addition to others suggestions for Q & A, I would like more info on how color placement impacts blocks and also choosing quilt designs for pieced tops.
I love your videos and watching/listening to them while I’m sewing is very therapeutic for me! More videos would be thoroughly welcomed by me.
