August WIPs Video & Giveaway

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED AND THE WINNERS HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED.

Happy Monday!  I hope you are all enjoying these last few days of August!  It is so crazy to think that we are nearing the beginning of the fall season.  I am not ready yet for fall!  I think I could soak up some more summer days for at least another few months. =)

Last week, I had the fun of teaching and speaking at a local event here in Berlin, Ohio called A Quilter’s Gathering in Berlin.  It’s a yearly, 3 day event, full of classes, quilters, and fun!  Robin Pickens also attended as one of the teachers and it was fun to catch up with her a little bit.  Over the last couple of years I have only been accepting a handful of local teaching events and this is one of the two I had planned for this year.

In one of my classes, I got to chatting with one of my students (who has become a friend over the years), Gwen, and she asked me when I’d have another WIPs/UFOs video up.  As luck would have it, I was able to film that video on Saturday and it is now available over on my YouTube channel this morning.

A Very Coriander Christmas block using Apricot & Ash

I always enjoy sharing these chatty sort of videos & it’s fun when you all leave comments over there letting me know what you are working on!  I know these videos have helped me whittle down my to-do list a bit each time I share a new video.

I have a couple projects I would really like to work on soon.  In the next few weeks, I’d like to make one more A Very Coriander Christmas block using Apricot & Ash.  I would also really like to get my hymn tea towel quilt top sent off to my quilter.

I’ve shared this quilt top here before but I always like sharing it again!  This quilt is made from tea towels that I collected from Fancy That Design House over the course of many years.  I had so much fun collecting them and an equal amount of fun turning it into a quilt top!

Another thing I shared over on the video was these quilt blocks that I stumbled across in my sewing room Saturday morning when I was looking for something else.

They were used as part of my samples for videos I filmed with Fat Quarter Shop a number of years ago.

I have one completed mini quilt top or it could also be a pillow top.  These are made using Sugarcreek Fabrics which are becoming harder to find.

I also have all of the blocks to make a second mini quilt/pillow top.

I no longer need either of these projects and am happy to send them on to a new home.  I will be having giveaways during some of these WIPs/UFOs videos if I have a project that I know I won’t be needing.  My hope is that I can send them off to a new home where they will be used and loved! =)  If you are interested in giving either the completed top or the blocks a home, leave me a comment below.  Specifically, I would love to know what your favorite colors are for holiday lines of fabric and/or which holiday fabric line has been your all-time favorite (from any designer!).

The giveaway will close on August 28 and I’ll draw two winners next week.

If you do watch my video over on YouTube, leave me a comment over there letting me know what you’re working on! =)  Happy Monday and Happy Sewing! Corey

  1. I would say a few of my holiday lines have been Little Tree by Lella Boutique, Naughty and Nice from Basic Grey and Holiberry by you of course! Would love a few of those blocks to incorporate into a project or heck i would even take them all! LOL

  2. Lisa Marie says:

I really love ALL the holiday lines, but I’m a traditional girl at heart, and am always drawn to Holly Taylor fabrics.

  3. Carmen Hoffman says:

Corey I would be more than grateful to give your work a new home!

  4. Debbie Camp says:

I’m pretty partial to silver and cranberry for Christmas colors. I really don’t have a favorite fabric line for Christmas yet, maybe 🤔 this year?

  5. Bess Caldwell says:

I loved your Holliberry Collection fabrics. The reds and greens in that collection are traditional Christmas colors with a modern twist. I just recently bought “A Very Coriander Christmas “ book and am looking forward to making that quilt. Ohhh, so many fun decisions to make. 😁

    • Karla S Salomonsky says:

I really love your holliberry line. I did snowy in half size and am so excited to display it this Christmas! I would gladly welcome home anything from your sewing room!

  6. Lindsay Lindsey says:

Also, I’m really looking forward to seeing that tea towel completed!!! 😍

  7. Christine Dirrance says:

I would love to win a give away if those beautiful quilt blocks.
I have decided I really love all your fabrics and think I should just buy Corey Yoder fabric.
Christmas. Mostly live greens and reds but recently have seen some projects with turquoise and pink. Just so cute and whimsical!
Love your videos, Corey. Thanks for all you do!

    • Pat says:

My favorite Christmas colors are a deep, rich red, pine green, and aqua. I love just about any Basic Grey Christmas collection because they use those colors a lot. Enjoy these last days of summer in Ohio!

  8. Elizabeth Foster says:

I love those wovens – such rich colors! I like the traditional reds and greens for Christmas, but I go for the more “country” shades – the cranberry reds and forest greens.

    • Brenda Johnson says:

I would be ecstatic to be blessed with your quilt blocks! Gorgeous as always. I love and purchase everything Corey Yoder 💕. Some lines – have to be honest – I buy excessively because they are crazy favorites I just can’t get enough of. I have to say the one Christmas line that has been my all time favorite so far – Christmas Morning by Lella Boutique. I loved it and preordered and reordered and reordered again because I didn’t want them not have some in stock. That kind of quantity of purchasing had previously only been done with your fabrics – but that line just touched me. Gave me the feel goods of a quieter and simple times. Less stress and so much less commercial and so much less demanding. But still – never fear – I have all my preorders and second round preorders on buttercup and slate- the colors and illustrations are phenomenal. Love them so much. Think I may be able to open my own Coriander Quilt shop – lol. Just kidding 🥰🤣

  9. Laura Watts says:

I love the 1950’s vibe in a Christmas Fabric collection. I am a bit of a traditionalist, so I decorate with Red and Green, then throw in some fun colors like Gold, silver or aqua.

  10. Lindsay Lindsey says:

Good morning Corey!! I would absolutely love to give some of those blocks a new home!! I really love the colors in Sugarcreek, they make me feel happy! I’d especially enjoy being able to sew the blocks together. Thank you for the new WIP video, your videos always give me lots of inspiration! ☺️

  11. Sheri A says:

    Hi Corey,
I would love be chosen to give the completed top or blocks a home!
My favorite Christmas colors are the traditional reds and greens and my favorite Christmas collection is Christmas Morning from Lella Boutique.
    Sheri

  12. Rita Nichols says:

I won’t buy a fat qtr bundle of a Christmas line if it has pink or aqua in it. I love pink and aqua but not for Christmas. I realize these colors are wonderful if you live in a warm spot at Christmas time but I like the traditional reds and greens when I’m up to my eyeballs in snow.

  13. Sandra Jones says:

I love the colors of red, green, white and black. I think this year I am in love with A Christmas to Remember by 3 wish fabrics. Would love to have the blocks that you have extra.

  14. Debra says:

I used your Holiberry line for a 120″x120″ quilt for my bed. I love all Christmas fabrics and my plan is to do more in black and white check.

  15. CHRISTINE PEARL says:

    Hi Corey,

My favorite Christmas / Winter theme fabric line is new this year from Bunny Hill Designs — “I Believe in Angels.” The snowman angels are so very cute — I just had to get the layer cake. As always, I’m now trying to find an appropriate quilt pattern — I seem to constantly buy fabrics and then have to hunt and search for the perfect way to use them. How fun was that to be searching for something in your studio and come upon all those beautiful quilt blocks? Since they need rehomed I would gladly adopt and cherish every single one!

  16. Michelle Combs says:

Your newly-found blocks are so pretty!! Sugarcreek is a favorite collection 🙂 As for my holiday favorites, I have to name two: Holliberry (I bought an embarrassing amount of that line! I’m working on a tree skirt, Wishes, Wooded Whimsy, and something TBD) and Vintage Holiday by Bonnie & Camille (pure sentimentality, it looks like my Grandmother’s holiday ornaments and tablecloths — and I also bought too much of this line, so I’ll just have to decorate every room of the house!). I’m hoping to make it to Berlin for next year’s gathering, and in the meantime, I am super excited about Sunwashed! SO many ideas!! I hope you have a great day Corey 🙂

  17. Mary Smith says:

I’m a traditionalist! I like the old tried and true colors for each holiday. But the doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to win one of your giveaways. Change has to start somewhere!

  18. Sue Riley says:

I love all of your fabrics and patterns. They are so fun and easy to follow. Your Holliberry fabric colors are gorgeous.

  19. Felicia Franklin says:

Hi Corey! I tend to stay with the Greens and Reds for Christmas. Last year I bought Christmas Morning by Lella. Pumpkins and Blossoms and All Hollows Eve is what I bought for a Fall/Halloween Quilt. However I am drooling over your Buttercup and Slate, I can’t wait to get some! I would be honored to give your quilt tops a new home!

    Thank You,
    Felicia

  20. Barbara B says:

My favorite holiday colors for fall are browns, rusty orange, green, and cream. For the Christmas holiday I like deeper reds and greens along with creams and some gold. I would love to win your giveaway….I have the perfect place for the pillows!!! Thank you!

  21. Donna says:

I love those blocks that you are giving away. I have never seen a pattern for how to make them (not sure of the actual sizes of the parts) and was wondering if you’d let us know in your blog or on youtube the pattern. It looks like a great scrap buster and is so lovely.

  22. Tamara Millage says:

Pick me! Pick me! 😉 Either UFO would find a good home with me.

As far as holiday fabric colors, I LOVE a blue red and that would be my go to BUT I have also come to fancy silver and a robins egg blue.

Fabric lines… since discovering you, I love all fabrics Corey Yoder. Your color ways just draw me in and I really like the patterns you design for each line. I can’t wait for the new line to be released for the QAL. I’ve preordered my fabric and am trying very hard to be patient!

  23. Christine Frostenson says:

Lovely blocks, Corey, they would be welcomed here at my home! I am a traditional girl, but last year I got distracted by Flamingo Toes Christmas Adventure line. It was something about those campers and cheerful colors and when Bev made those 24” square pillows with the red pompom trim, well, I fell hard. Guess it reminded me of camping with my family when I was growing up. I can’t wait to use them this year, such a nice reminder of family. So I guess I’m attracted to patterns/designs that evoke feelings and memories—traditional, modern or just to try out something new and different and create a new memory!

  24. Michelle Brunner says:

I haven’t found a Christmas fabric collection that shouts my name yet. We always celebrated Christmas with my grandparents, so what most days Christmas to me are those vintage colors – bright reds and greens, tiny prints, a bit mismatched and scrappy.

  25. Florence Donohue says:

Thank you for the idea of using my left over fabrics from Apricot and Ash! I believe I have enough to complete the christmas quilt too. I would love your left over blocks as I have plans for my Sugarcreek for a spring quilt.

  26. Anita Downie says:

Hi Cori love everything you do and love your fabric line I am working on the heart quilt ❣️

  27. Lisa Colbert says:

I love that you want to rehome some of your beautiful work. Christmas colors would be red and green in soft tones with a pop of light blue or turquoise. I like the line Warm winter wishes. But each line would make a great quilt with its own personality. It’s hard to decide on just one.

  28. Jamie Cruse says:

    Hi Corey!
I had so much fun in Berlin chatting with you and taking your class! I cannot wait for the Oh Happy Day sew along next month. I would love to get my hands on these sugar creek fabrics as I do not have them in my stash 🙈
My favorite colors for Christmas are blues, golds and silvers. The shimmer in the gold and silver mixed with the blue to me is to die for! In Berlin at the bingo night I won a Christmas panel with those colors and I’m so excited to sew it together and put it on my wall this year.
I hope to see you next year at the next gathering!!

  29. Jennifer B says:

I’m pretty smitten with Halloween lines, but also lo e a classical color combo for Christmas…

  30. Becky says:

I am always on the look out for rich creamy ivory and rich red fabrics to use for Christmas projects. I love red and white quilts for Christmas. I have always loved the reds in Holly Taylor’s fabrics. With that being said, I do love all things Corey Yoder and I have loved using up all my bits of the Holliberry fabric line you did.

  31. Anita Downie says:

Hi from Ohio thanks for all you do

  32. Michelle Lauber says:

Hello Corey, I know exactly who I would finish those gorgeous blocks for. My niece just had baby #6 and think they would make an adorable baby quilt if I’m chosen. Thank you for all you do, God bless… sincerely Michelle Lauber

  33. joan r linthicum says:

I would love to help you give these blocks a new home! They would be very welcome here! Thanks!

  34. Kathleen A. Guenther says:

My favorite Christmas lines of fabric are Vintage Christmas by Bonnie & Camille and Fig Tree Christmas II and of course Holliberry by Corey Yoder!

  35. Linda isfeld says:

Corey, I am currently working with your fabric line Flax & Twine and incorporating some of your buffalo checked fabrics as the flower centres. I love your yellows, they are fresh and buttery. I like AGF’s Christmas lines as they are not traditional colors. I would ‘love’ some blocks or a finished project to add to my collection.. I do am not ready for fall to be upon us..

  36. Cindy K. says:

Such a great question because since I’m a senior citizen, I’ve gone through lots of favorite holiday colors phases! Your Holliberry collection covered a lot of my one-time favorites all in one and I especially loved the Snowy snowmen pattern. I love the colors in Warm Winter Wishes by Holly Taylor, too.

  37. Doris L Neely says:

I would love to have the blocks. I would combine them with my all time favorite fabric which is Cozy UP to make a scrappy quilt. I love scrappy quilts and really enjoy making them.

  38. Joyce Levengood says:

Your Holliberry is still my favorite collection!

  39. Delores Rast says:

I was shopping FQS and found some Christmas Fabric I like – Home Sweet Holidays by Deb Strain. It’s really pretty. Thinking about making some table runners for friends with this fabric. I love all your fabric!!! I would love to win either of the prizes you are gifting!!! They would be finished, loved and used. Life’s too short y’all!!! Burn those great smelling candles and live life to the fullest!!!!

  40. Lynn Adolph says:

I’m drawn to Christmas fabrics. The reds and green of Holiberry and Christmas Figs were so pretty together. I also love blues and silvers but I haven’t found a line of just that so I make my own bundles from various designers.

  41. Pa Ward says:

I don’t currently have any holiday lines. All look very pretty! I haven’t made a holiday quilt yet.

  42. susan0624 says:

Hi, Corey. Your “adoption” blocks are fresh and nostalgic! My favorite holiday fabric line has is HOLIDAY FLOURISH released every year by Robert Kaufman. They are beautiful and elegant fabrics and come in versions of red/green with gold accents, or blue/white with silver accents. I buy them every year and make gorgeous table runners for family, friends, and co-workers… and for ME!

  43. L says:

I absolutely love all your creations. I am inspired to make those quilt blocks into something special.

  44. Brenda T says:

I love christmas fabrics and mix and match with different lines of fabric. I will even mix in metallics. Christmas is fun to sew for !

  45. Susan Taylor says:

I’m a lover of the traditional reds and greens in deep colors. I did pick up a fat quarter bundle “Winter Wonder” by Heather Peterson for Riley Blake that included some blues that are making a nice punch in the blocks. I would love either a finished or unfinished extra blocks that you are offering

  46. Jamie Bekker says:

I love hunter green and cranberry colors for the holidays mixed with a mustard type yellow. I would be happy to win either of these giveaway blocks. Thank you

  47. Connie R says:

When I saw your mini quilt + extra blocks I instantly knew they would make a beautiful baby quilt. Whether I win the giveaway or not, there will be baby quilts like this made for Care Net, a pregnancy resource for mothers with the goals of seeing babies’ lives saved, coming alongside parents to encourage them with the love of Christ as well.

Anything that looks woodsy and homespun is my favorite Christmas style.

  48. Sharon Highfield says:

    Hello Corey,
I’d love your sashing on your Apricot and Ash quilt. I’m always looking for different designs.

  49. Linda P says:

I love those blocks and the fabric line and would love to finish them up. Seems to be a project for practicing hand quilting like you are showing in your videos. I have the houses with beautiful day fabrics in my sewing project lineup now. Looking forward to it.

  50. Sherry Karge says:

I love traditional holiday lines. I just wish I had more time to get more projects done.

  51. Julie says:

Well, Halloween is my absolute favorite!!!! I would love to give either of these a good home. I need to kick my sew-jo into gear and I love these!!!!

  52. Sharon Voelkel says:

Love all the colors and shades you use. Christmas favorites, I have many…I’m a sucker for anything with the softer shades of red and green. Thanks for the opportunity of the giveaway. You and your work is very inspiring !

  53. Shari Wallin says:

I usually gravitate towards traditional Christmas colors, but lately I’ve been liking non traditional stuff like this year’s Fly Home For Winter by Hoffman Fabrics.

  54. Donna Duguay says:

    Hi Cory
I just love all your fabrics. I made my granddaughter a quilt using your Sugar Creek collection ( she is 13) and she loves it. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough to make her a matching pillow as I used a layer cake. Would love to have more. Thanks for your videos. I always look forward to seeing them💕

  55. Ivy Veinot says:

I would love to finish up either into a small table topper! Best thing about small projects is that you get the final oohs and aahs quickly! I just finished Vintage Christmas from Temecula Quilt Company using traditional red, green and cream scraps. I just love quilting!

  56. Amy Kollasch says:

My favorite Christmas fabrics are ones that don’t have any link to an actual Christmas theme (like decorated trees or baubles). I feel the fabrics with just winter type things (like snow flakes, snowmen, winter flowers, or just winter colors) are more versatile. I know I am probably a part of a very small group that feels this way, but that’s ok. I am interested in receiving any of your makes that you no longer have a need for. Thank you for a chance to win. Happy sewing everyone, and good luck ❤

  57. Well Corey to be honest my favorite holiday is Halloween 👻 I have more fabric then I care to admit. As for Christmas I like traditional reds and greens, anything by Urban Chicks. I have several of their Christmas panels and of course Halloween.
I absolutely love your hymn tea towel quilt and cannot wait to see it quilted. I remember the first time you showed the tea towels and I fell in love with Fancy That Design House.
If I were to win the mini quilt and extra blocks I would turn it into a wheelchair lap quilt for my daughter Elizabeth.

  58. D. Her says:

I’m fairly new to quilting and don’t have a holiday stash yet. But I am drawn to the holiday line Home Sweet Home by Hoffman Fabrics. I just love the calming effects of the grays, blues, greens and black amidst the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season.

  59. Terri D'Ambrosio says:

    Good morning,
This past weekend I attended a local Tractor Show and went as a vendor. I had never done this before., a new experience for me. Over the past 2 years I had made 11 quilts and 8 pillows that needed homes. So I set up a spot and offered my products for sale. I got a lot of “you do beautiful work” but no takers on the quilts. I did sell sell 5 of the pillows, 4 that had Ford Tractors. Ford Tractors was the tractor of the year. The other pillow I had embroidered a folk art chicken on the pillow with my embroidery machine. That pillow was going back to Indiana. I also had made a quilt with Ford tractors that was auctioned off to raise money for the tractor club.. This quilt went for $100.00, it was a wall hanging. I made one that was auction off 2 years ago. The same person now has 2 of my quilts in his possession, and 3 pillows.
Will I try to sell my quilts again? Don’t know. I did get asked by a few people to
make quilts for them. We will see if they get back with me to do this.
So that is what I’ve been up too.
And yes, I would love to win your quilt blocks. I would take them and make a Medallion quilt with them. So hopefully I will be the winner of your blocks.

Thanks for reading this, sorry it was so long.

    Terri D’Ambrosio

  60. shelley says:

If we’re talking about the Halloween to Thanksgiving holiday, I’m playing with some Cozy Up charm squares and making a couple small quilts for accents around the house. Love the little acorns and the fabric lives up to its name 💕 I’m also curious about the second teaching event for the year, or if it’s already passed. Love your videos!

  61. Cheryl Kurey says:

Hi, I love peach & the colors of Apricot & Ash. Need to collect some more before it’s gone.

  62. Jeri Gerischer Hutchins says:

I love your color of your blocks. A new pillow on my sofa would be great…hint hint. Your new fabric line Sunwash is my type and color. You are great designing fabric and patterns. Thanks for inspiring me.

  63. Connie Weaver says:

Corey, love the blocks you are giving away. Fall is my favorite time of year, so my favorite fall colors are different shades of orange, yellows, Burgandy, yellow green, rust. I think these colors would make a beautiful autumn quilt.

  64. Austa Rogers says:

I love more traditional Christmas cranberry and greens but like the addition of limes and pink.

  65. Tamie Madewell says:

I would love to finish the mini quilt top or have the squares to put together. The fabric you used is absolutely beautiful. I would love to win either projects.

  66. Tara Lovestrand says:

I love blues for Christmastime, more than reds and greens! Blues and silver are my favorite decorations for that time of year! Your fabrics are always AMAZING 😍 THANK YOU!!

  67. Leasa Vorves says:

I made Loveliness using Sugarcreek fabric and it turned out wonderful. I find myself going back to my scraps for other projects. The scraps I have left are too small so I would like to enter the giveaway for the Sugarcreek blocks. Thank you

  68. Dawn says:

Love all your projects! Looking forward to the new buttercup and slate and especially sun washed!!!

  69. Jeanine Cole says:

Hi Corey! I would be so honored to be able to have one of your mini quilts. If I did happen to win one I hope I would do it justice. 🙂

  70. Rose says:

My Christmas decorating colors have been lime green with a touch of red. Love your new line coming out in early 2023 – checks make my day! I don’t really need another ufo at my house as I have quite a few of my own, and always working on something for the Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale. So many ideas, so little time!!

  71. MiChelle M. Jaggard says:

I like to make Christmas Quilts with fabrics that aren’t the traditional Christmas colors. I would use Beautiful Day and with the reds, pinks and greens I think it would be just lovely at Christmas but could also be used all year round. I love the blocks you showed today and would love to have either one. I would use them as a pillow for my couch. I have a winter quilt I am working on right now. It was a kit. I only have 3 more blocks to finish. It has snowmen, fir trees, houses in snow. I will have to go back and do a hand stitched blanket stitch around all my applique. I turn 70 next march and I am trying to make quilts for my 3 granddaughters for the future, when they marry, have children, and so on. I will give them to my daughter to pass out to them with a letter when they need them when after I am gone. I want them to know I was thinking of them even in their future.

  72. Kathleen says:

I would love the pattern for the mini blocks. My stash is overflowing and this project would help to lessen the load. Many thanks.

  73. Elizabeth Steele says:

Happy Monday! I would love to enter the give-a-way!! I love Holliberry and, by your “sister-designers” .. Hustle & Bustle is great too!! Thanks for your lovely designs, lovely patterns and lovely smile!!!

  74. Hi Corey, I would love to give your quilt blocks a new home. I am very partial to Lella Boutiques Christmas Morning Fabrics. I recently bought your Coriander Christmas book and I am looking for reds and greens for that beautiful quilt. Unfortunately, I don’t have your Holliberry fabric. I have been looking for it, but I can’t find any. I still have Cozy Up and Spring brook fabrics. I may try a fall version of the quilt. Thank you for your beautiful designs and fabrics.

  75. Carol Kuse says:

I would love to give any of these blocks a forever home. I just love your fabrics. Thank you.

  76. Linda says:

I am new to your blog and your YouTube channel. I like the traditional red, green colors for Christmas

  77. Cindy Crist says:

I love any fall fabric. I continue to work on an applique project and today I pulled out 2 quilts and the binding to get those done. Classes start tomorrow so I have been busy building those.

  78. Judy says:

It’s hard to choose just one of your fabric collections, I love them all. But I do love Beautiful Day, Strawberry Jam and Apricot and Ash. Also, I really love your tea towel quilt with all the inspirational hymn titles and verbiage. It would be very comforting to have that on your bed and just be able to look down and at a glance be uplifted at any of the words that you read on any tea towel block. What a great idea! I was blessed to see this today, it was needed. Thanks for sharing.
    Judy

  79. Sherry Krogstad says:

These are such cute blocks. I would be excited to take them off your hands.

  80. Libby Anderson says:

What a great find! Would love to find them in my home. As far as Christmas fabric/colors, I tend to stick with tradition reds and greens but in a primitive tones. I need to step out of my comfort zone in that area but simply love the more deeper colors.

  81. britiney says:

Hey Corey! Thanks for such a fun post and the chance at some great goodies! I’ve been searching for a really non-traditional Christmas palette – I really want a line with aqua and pink and a lighter green – maybe granny apple green? My Christmas tree is in my formal living room and these are the colors I use in my decor in for that room. Thanks again!

  82. Wendy Wakefield says:

Finish up three tops. FQS Halloween mystery quilt, Sunflower table topper and a small quilt called Shine by See &Sew by Chloe’s Closet.

  83. Stephanie Z Hironimus says:

Hi Corey! I have your red & green Beautiful Day panel. I am going to turn it into a Christmas quilt using reds & greens from Fig Tree, reds also from Lori Holt & a red Moda Grunge. So I guess that doesn’t quite tell you my favorite holiday fabric, but what I’m using to make a Christmas quilt. I have an older Basic Grey holiday collection that I’ve used every scrap of (so I no longer remember the line) but I do have some charm packs of Very Merry by Sandy Gervais 😉

  84. Heidi Lehnig says:

I enjoy fun Christmas lines like those from sweetwater or the naughty and nice line – I also have a fat quarter tower of holly berry that I’m saving for a special project ! Thanks for sharing!

  85. wendy says:

Hi, I would love to give your blocks a new home! I am always working on little projects to gift or pass on to sewing friends. I am not a traditional Christmas colors type of person. I love pastels and the aqua & pink tones or light blue & white, maybe with a bit of light sage green tossed in.

  86. Leona Kofoed says:

So can I just say, LISA of Primative Gatherings that your blocks made of Sugarcreek by Corey Yoder are cute. I hope someone deserving wins them. I will pass however as they will just be unused here as well. I am about to make a Christmas quilt using Marches de Noel by French General. Searching for the perfect pattern for this line I e had for a while. Thanks for all you do. Enjoy your week.

    • Leona Kofoed says:

Hahaha- I’m on the wrong blog! I was so confused why people were making Corey comments on Lisa’s blog. Ooops- shame on me.

  87. Allison McCullough says:

Thank you for the opportunity to win these beautiful blocks Corey! Last year I was SO in love with Hustle & Bustle by BasicGrey, this year I have my eye on Winter Wonder by Heather Peterson … there is some aqua in there that is gorgeous! Thanks again!!

  88. Carla Carvalho says:

I really love your fabrics. I would love to win one of the giveaways, fingers crossed!

  89. Linda J Hulen says:

I would be thrilled to give any of your blocks a home. I love your fabric lines and the lovely work you do!!

  90. mje2002 says:

I always love seeing what you make and how you use your (& other’s) fabric collections. I don’t usually make holiday quilts but for Halloween I love the use of black, orange and purple with a little gray. For Christmas colors I find myself drawn to the shades that Sweetwater uses. Muted greens, reds and again, some gray. Your 3-day event sounds like so much fun. This will be our 2nd year road-tripping from Colorado to NW Ohio to visit family for a month. I might have to make a side jaunt further east to visit your little town. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful work and inspiration!

  91. Evelyn Ware says:

I would love the completed top or blocks! My Christmas colors are red & green so of course I love Holliberry! My favorite holiday is Christmas & decorating my house is always even more fun with table runners & quilts. Thank you for being willing to give back to your many fans!!

  92. dianne alsup says:

Sugarcreek is one of my “too good to use” stash pile!!! Christmas colors Red/White/Silver – I like to keep the house decorated in those colors

  93. Lori says:

I really love the traditional Christmas fabric lines. Currently using Farmhouse Christmas for a BOM and I love how it is coming out.
Looking forward to your class at the Ohio Amish Quilt Festival next month!

  94. Lisa Sweeney says:

corey, I love all your fabric lines! You are so talented! Holliberry was a favorite christmas line. Apricot and Ash I purchased so much of that line 🙂 Beautiful Day I am so in love with! I am working with sugarcreek quilt top now and would love to have your blocks for a pillow to go with it.

  95. Sandra French says:

Good Morning, Naughty or Nice is a favorite of mine. Mods has such nice fabrics. Favorite color is a tie between red and green. Currently I have a couple of things in progress, a couple lap quilts for the local hospice and a crumb quilt so I can use up some of my small scraps as it breaks my heart to throw out those pretty little pieces. Thank you for the giveaway. I like them both but my favorite is the tea towels. Have a great day!

  96. Beckie Kettle says:

I would Love to have one of your unfinished projects… Whenever I go to yard sales and find unfinished quilt tops or blocks that need to be finished I always bring them home and get them done… I don’t like to see orphan blocks or quilt tops unfinished and being unloved.

  97. Ingrid Tinsley says:

Hi Corey, so far my favorite Christmas line is Christmas Morning, I have a stash to make 2 quilts and I am hopping to start them soon.
From the giveaway I would like to give a new home to the pillow top or to the blocks, so I can make a table topper or a small table runner. I love your fabrics, books/patterns and your videos, you are my favorite fabric designer :). Thanks

  98. Joanne Nikkila says:

My favorite Christmas lines were Thimbleberries from years ago. They were such rich colors and one of the quilts I made from one of her Christmas lines, I’m able to use any time of year. You have to really look close to determine that it is actually Christmas fabric.

  99. Sandra Weise says:

Snowkissed by Sweetwater is one of my favorites for holiday fabric! I love that little bit of aqua! I would love to have something you started. I have a bench in our entry that I could put a pillow on as a reminder of what an amazing designer you are! So excited for the FQS charity quilt; it will be my third one and am so excited it’s your fabric and pattern again!!

  100. Gillian Romain (Jyl) says:

I love an icey blue, like Father Christmas by Deborah Edwards for Northcott. And I love Holly Berry by you, with its traditional colors for Christmas. I do not like turquoise or lime green for Christmas. Maybe if I lived in the Carribbean, but I don’t. Too Cute To Spook by Me and My Sister for Moda for my Halloween fabric as well as Witchypoo Sundaes by Renee Nanneman for Andover.

  101. JOAN WORKMAN says:

I like muted reds and greens, like Lella Boutique Christmas Morning.

  102. Debbie Hamrick says:

I love traditional Christmas colors and vintage style prints, without Santa Clauses. I love snowmen and scenery.
I would love to have one of your unfinished projects! This is my first time ever commenting on a blog. Guess there’s a first time for everything !

  103. Karen Bennett says:

Hi Corey, I love your cozy up fabrics for the Fall. I actually think your colors are always restful and fun to work with! I would love one of your UFO’s what an honor it would be to receive one! Have a great day!

  104. Claudia says:

Hey Corey, you have lovely colours in your quilts. In my case it depends on my mood. I dont do quilts only for a special season. Id like to use my quilts when i love to see them. So mostly they are colourful, oe coloured or black and white.

  105. Karen Bennett says:

Your Holly Berry line looks amazing too!

  106. Denise Castelli says:

I’m partial to an acqua & light green in a Christmas bundle. I don’t have a favorite line. There are just too many to choose from. I would be happy to give your blocks a good home.

  107. Trudy Lindemann says:

I have not bought a holiday fabric line in quite a few years. The last one I used was a Moda line called Christmas at Snowshoe Lodge. I made the quilt Winter Wonderland by Deborah Jacobs. Typically my favorite Christmas colors are deep green, cranberry red and ivory, but I’ve definitely been eyeing up modern colors and prints in recent years with cherry red, lime green and white

  108. Beverly Starner says:

I would be thrilled to give a home to your orphan blocks (at least that’s what I call those blocks I make that don’t go into a project) and Holliberry is a favorite Christmas collection because I don’t like santas which are in so many collections and I adore the fact that you include my favorite color (gray) in most of your fabric collections. After watching your WIP videos I got busy and am now binding the fifth quilt I sent to my longarm quilters after having them hanging in my sewing room for months and two more are presenty being quilted with another two awaiting the selection of backing fabrics so they can be sent out. I am so happy to see the finished quilts and am working on a new project with others in the planning stages. Your encouragement to eliminate UFOs really spurred me on.

  109. Gail Whitaker says:

I love all that you do, Corey and would love to have your unfinished projects. We all have them and I sure could use another one. Love your videos as well…

  110. Jane Myhre says:

I would love to get one of your UFOs. The fabric is beautiful! My favorite holiday fabric is Halloween in all of the traditional colors and maybe a pop of purple. I love J. Wecker Frisch’s whimsical take on fabric design.

  111. Elberta says:

One of my favorite Christmas fabric bundles is Pixie Noel. I love the aqua and pink mixed in with the traditional red and green, and white for a snowy background. Always enjoy checking out your blog to see what your working on.

  112. Vicki Willard says:

Fun giveaway, Corey! I love so many fabric lines, but I tend to lean toward Heather Peterson’s bright colors. I also love your Spring Brook line, and actually have those fabrics on my fabric keychain fob❤️

  113. Sherri Gibson says:

I would be happy to give your blocks or mini top a new home! I am always drawn to the aqua and bright berry colors for Christmas projects!

  114. Jeanne Carver says:

I love the little blocks! So colorful! I wasn’t quilting yet or at least following designers when your Sugarcreek line came out. So sorry I missed it!

I have yet to make any sort of holiday related quilt. I see all sorts of beautiful holiday lines but have refrained until I am ready to actually make something. I gravitate towards the more traditional colors and/or along the farmhouse vibe. Cannot resist buffalo check!!

  115. lynn morton says:

My favorite colors is traditional red and green. I just got into quilting so I really don’t have a favorite Christmas line yet. But I did purchase Lella Boutique Christmas Morning Panel and jelly roll and made a very simple quilt.

On your you tube video you were asking for suggestions for the fall color women’s. Fat quarter Shop monthly Sew Simple box had a cute leave pattern in their January box that came with your Beautiful Day fabric. That pattern would be very cute with fall colors. (The pattern is for members only, but I’m sure you could figure something similar. 😉)

Speaking of Beautiful day, I just finished my Heartfelt quilt and looking forward to next year’s using Sunwashed!

Feel free to add me in the drawing.

  116. Paul and Sarah Rihm says:

I am new to quilting, but have been sewing since I was 10 years old. I love the traditional colors for Christmas fabrics. I would love to give your project/fabric a home! I am learning so much from you!

  117. Love your giveaways! I have purchased the thread to hand quilt a pillow and haven’t done it yet. My favorite Christmas colors….well, it depends on which room of my house I am in at the time lol. My main tree is burgundy and gold, one of my small trees is a travel tree with hot pink, purple, aqua, etc., my kitchen tree is more true red and green with kitchen themed ornaments. The grandsons’ tree is silver and blues. This year I plan to add a gingerbread tree to the mix. If I have time I want to make sewing themed ornaments and have a tiny tree in my sewing room too. I love all things Christmas!

  118. GlendaMcCarthy says:

My holiday projects tend to a scrappy red/green, with lots of fabric variety. I would love to have, and finish your UFO!

  119. Charald Comeau says:

I love Christmas fabrics with dark reds and greens.

  120. nancene says:

I’m in love with all things coriander quilts.

  121. Amanda Askew says:

I am very traditional, so anything red and green, cream, tans, and gold.

  124. Sylvia Bowers says:

Hi! I love your blocks and fabric. I would love to receive your blocks in the give away!! I love the fall! Yellows, oranges, browns and reds! For winter I love reds and dark blues and throw in a little green. Thank you and I enjoy your videos!

  125. Cathy Lloyd says:

Oh wow!! I’d love to win some of your beautiful creations!!

  126. Wanda Barr says:

I would love your orphan blocks! I’m currently making an easy twin-sized quilt using the large floral on blue from Sugarcreek. I love that blue so much it is going to give this away, but I’m making it to donate.

  127. Deb S Bohn says:

Corey-Love to see your projects, even if they are in the works! They are always a source of inspiration. I just sent two quilt throws off to my longarmer for my son and daughter and just pulled out a fall quilt, Hocus Pocus, to finally finish. I’m in love with your Holliberries fabric line! And lastly, love the Barn Star #5 pattern! So excited!
    Thanks so much for sharing!

  128. Mary Beth Schmitz says:

I like traditional Christmas colors, reds and greens and I have made several quilts out of your Holliberry line. I would love to give your items a new home and would take very good care of them.

  129. Lisa says:

What a wonderful opportunity to win something so beautiful that you made. So very sweet of you to do this giveaway. The blocks are gorgeous. It would be a fun one to win. I just finished my quilt top on the charity SAL @FQS. I would have to say one of my must favorite fabric lines has been Beautiful Day …. Not only was the Fabric beautiful but also the pattern. Very special! But if I were to choose a favorite season I would say fall. I just love fall and your cozy up line has been one of my most favorites for that time of year. Thank you for all the inspiration and all you do. God bless!

  130. Love the Coriander Christmas line!
Thank you for the opportunity to complete you WIP giveaway. And thank you Corey for your enthusiasm and encouragement to each of us💕🧵

  131. Deborah Munis says:

In regards to color, I too am very much a traditional holiday person. Except, I love to have one non traditional color added. Halloween black and orange with purple or Christmas red and greens with a pale blue or teal. Something that makes a person’s eyes light up.

  132. Chrysa Hefty says:

These would be perfect for a charity project I’m working on though our public schools. I’d love to have any of them.

  133. Cynthia A King says:

I could make good use of your blocks. They would make a perfect little wall hanging in my kitchen area.

  134. Becky scheller says:

Would love to give your blocks a new home❤️

  135. Jeanette says:

I like light green and black, Christmas morning was my fav last year, but I am a new quilter so I’m sure there will be many more.

  136. I would LOVE to give either the blocks or top a loving home on my West Virginia farm! I’ve always loved deep cranberry and forest greens for Christmas but right now I’m having a love-affair with your Beautiful Day fabrics. I just treated myself to a fat quarter bundle with extra panels as well as 2 quilt kits featuring the fabrics! I plan on making something for my 3 grown daughters for Christmas using these gorgeous fabrics! Blessings, Corey…..

  137. Lois Hawver says:

I don’t have a favorite holiday fabric line. But I do love scrappy anything. I would love to have Corey Yoder blocks

  138. MarianneK says:

Hi Corey, I like any holiday fabric that has no blue! I just love traditional green and red. Also would love to win your giveaway!

  139. Barbara McDonald says:

I am pretty traditional when it comes to Christmas – but I honestly don’t have a favorite line. And I love those blocks you have left over – something about their simplicity is what draws my eye to it every. Single. Time. Thanks for the giveaway!

  140. Cheryl Graham says:

Ooh Fun Giveaway! If I am so lucky to be chosen, I hope to get the pieces; I have what I think is a cute finishing idea I would share with you upon completion.

As for Christmas, I really prefer the cardinal reds and pine greens. Not bright red or grass green. And with those I have been really drawn to the accents of black and teal. I know! Not traditional colors! Which is why they must be accents, not main colors or full color ways in the palette.

  141. Yvette Heartso says:

Hey Corey! I love your fabrics. I am new to quilting and have very little “designer” fabrics. I would make a wall hanging with your cheerful fabric. My favorite Christmas colors are silver and red and silver and blue. Being new to quilting I have not seen many Christmas fabric lines but this year I am drooling over all of it, hoping to start “collecting” lots of it.

  142. Christine Funk says:

I made my daughter the cutest throw pillow with Holliberry! I loved the shades of red and green and I went heavy on the neutrals. It was perfect for her house! I don’t know if fall is considered ‘holiday’, but Cozy Up was a gorgeous collection too! My daughter made a quilt with that, so I didn’t want to be a copycat 😆, but I’d love to see those colors make a return one of these days! 🥰

  143. Sue Peschke says:

Hello Corey, I would enjoy making a pillow from the blocks. I made a quilt from Sugarcreek so it would look lovely with the quilt. I am a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas fabrics. Red and Green for me.

  144. Heidi Yazwa says:

I would love to give either the pillow top or the individual blocks a new home. I am a fairly new quilter and I would LOVE either of these. My fave Christmas colors are darkish red (Indiana Hoosiers) and light olive. Kinda celeryish. Thanks for the neat giveAway. ♥️

  145. Heidi Yazwa says:

I forgot to say what my all-time favorite Christmas line is. It is red barn Christmas from Sweetwater. Love love love that one.

  146. Debra says:

Hello Cori, my very favorite colors to use for Christmas are a bright red, green, white and black or grey. I love Little Tree by Lela Boutique. I made a project bag out of it. I haven’t yet made a Christmas quilt yet. I have a few fabric lines to do so and your book Coriander Christmas. I would love to make something out of your fabrics to give them a home here. FQS is how I found you and fell in love with your fabrics and patterns. Have a great day!

  147. Connie Rawls says:

I would love your mini quilt top for a quilted pillow!! They are just beautiful. I love red and teal and Christmas time as well as the traditional red and green!

  148. Lianne says:

Hi Corey! I would be so happy to receive one of your giveaway blocks. I’m getting obsessed with your fabric designs. I was in Shipshewana IN last week at Yoder’s Department Store (any relation?) and they carry a boat load of your fabrics. I walked out with an armful! 🤗

  149. Pamela Kasky says:

My favorite Christmas colors are the traditional red and green, with a little turquoise and pink thrown in. I just finished a wall hanging with the old fashioned Santa fabric. I can’t really say what my all time favorite is. It seems to change monthly!!😂💕

  150. Michelle Garraway says:

Hi Corey, I am a new quilter and my very first Christmas quilt I completed was with your Hollyberry Christmas fabric using your Coriander Christmas book It still is my one and only Christmas pattern book. I love it so much, I keep making pillows so I can practice my FMQ techniques as I have started dabbling in FMQ now. Thank you for all your videos, tips and beautiful fabrics. Have a fantastic day.

  151. Pam in NC says:

Cory, I love hearing what quilters a designers are working on! How delightful to see your giveaway since I just pulled out my bundles of Sugar Creek I’ve been hoarding! HA! I’m exploring your blocks in a Very Coriander Christmas to make a one block quilt. To win your giveaway would be fun to having a big matching pillow! Thanks for all the time you devote to teaching and entertaining us quilters! I appreciate it!

  152. Leslie says:

that was a fun video! keep them all coming!!! I love your colors in your Holliberry but didn’t buy enough when it was available! also love Sweetwaters Christmas lines and recently Lella Boutiques colors

  153. Karen Beth says:

Your beautiful blocks would be warmly welcomed at my house. Thanks for inspiring quilters with your fabrics and videos. I especially love the top made from tea towels printed with hymns. It will make a lovely quilt.

  154. Liz Thomas says:

Hello! I love all your designs but for Christmas I especially like the red and green rail fence style jelly roll quilt from your Sunday Best Quilts book. I’m new to quilting and it looks fun and easy! I would be honored to receive one of your unfinished Sugarcreek pillow projects since I love that collection and have a quilt underway out of it. Thanks for all your wonderful videos that teach and inspire me!

  155. Jennifer Morrison says:

I have never been a fan of traditional christmas colors (red & green)…so i pretty much shy away from holiday fabrics. I make things for holiday gifts, but they are everyday patterned fabrics. Love ur quilt blocks for the give away. Would make a lovely decorative pillow for my sister’s couch.

  156. Gwen adams says:

I would love to inherit these. I have some sugar creek I can add to them. Lately, I’ve been leaning towards the blue/purple Christmas colors. These colors remind me of royalty? And with my many mangers, kind of fit…. One of my favorite Christmas fabric lines is Kate Spain’s. In From The Cold. She has a red in there I just love. I’ve used it with other quilts. ❤️

  157. Angie VE says:

Would love to win the blocks or top! I have a F8 worth of 3” strips of Sugarcreek remaining and I haven’t figured out what to do with them yet. I haven’t bought a lot of Christmas fabrics, but I did fall in love with Basic Grey’s Aspen Frost. That color scheme would be my go-to Christmas color palette!

  158. Diane says:

I would love to win those quilt blocks. They are very pretty and would special since they came from you 😀. The blocks would have a good home. Love your fabric lines!

  159. Susan N. says:

I would love to give the completed top a home. I don’t have a favorite fabric line. Christmas colors I like are the traditional red, green with white or gold; blue and white with silver or gold; just dark red or cranberry with white and/or silver or gold.

  160. Gail Sowin says:

I prefer traditional Christmas colors of red and green. I like pops of yellow/gold or including black with the reds and greens. It would be an honor to give your blocks or quilt top a home.

  161. Allison Lunsford says:

I usually gravitate towards holiday fabrics that are slightly non-traditional – with shades of teal in them, for example, instead of the usual red and green. I just finished sewing The Nativity quilt by Stacy Iest Hsu and that fabric line was so much fun to work with. Thanks so much for the giveaway, Corey! 🤗

  162. Lori A Bruland says:

I would love to make A Very Coriander Christmas quilt with your new line Sunwashed. I think it would be smashing! Participated in the Beautiful Day mystery and it turned out gorgeous! Can’t wait for the new mystery!

  163. Susan Gallo says:

I would love to make something with the blocks you are giving away. I participated in your Proposal Pillow class at the recent retreat in Berlin and would treasure winning one of the blocks you have sewn 😊

  164. irene rybak says:

I love watching you on YouTube ! You fabric and colours are all so beautiful ! Colours I get drawn too more and more as I watch your videos .
I would love to give your blocks a new home .
I’m would love to see more beige, brown and gold Christmas colours , crème too .

  165. Arlend says:

I love traditional Christmas colors of red, green, white, silver…. definitely not a fan of pink or turquoise but I’m coming around to the darker blues.

  166. Dina Soares says:

Hi Corey, my favorite Christmas line was Holliberry and Christmas morning. I love red and greens for Christmas. I would love to give either of the giveaways a new home. I recently purchased a home and would love to add them to decor. I am starting over after divorce and rebuilding my life so they would be a welcome addition

  167. Margaret Kerr says:

I enjoyed your YouTube video today and as usual, all the blocks were beautiful. I love the Coriander Christmas block. And of course the smaller give away blocks are beautiful too. I’d love to give them a home. Right now my favorite Christmas line is Holly Berry Tree Farm by Deb Strain. The reason I like it is because I love the spruce greens and warm reds. Very traditional. I will be making a Christmas wreath out of the line and entering it into the Honolulu City Lights annual wreath contest. I always make a quilty kind of wreath and it’s great fun. Margaret.

  168. Sarah says:

Hi there Corey! Late to the party as usual! I’m a big fan of your work ( in progress)! I always love your color combos and placement. Your giveaway blocks are lovely and have a sort of spring feel. Would love the chance to complete them. Will keep my fingers crossed xx!

  169. Diana Hernandez says:

    Sallie

  172. Patti Dagg says:

Any project of yours I’d love. Be a collectors item to me. I’m a traditional Cmas colour person. Thanks for visiting and sharing.

  173. Jennie says:

I love the reds and greens of Sweetwater’s Red Barn. Traditional Christmas red and green appeal to me, too- those are the first colors of embroidery thread I run out of! 😂

  174. pattyd27057610Patricia Daw says:

Hi Cory. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving so I love all the fall colors. So far cozy up is my favorite. I love anything in a pumpkin orange. Love the pillow tops and would enjoy putting one together. Thanks for your videos.

  175. Delia Mendoza says:

As always, I love all your fabric collections, all of the colors are also my favorite colors, maybe that what I love them so much. I’m actually waiting for your new collection which I reserved back in April at fat quarter shop, and I can’t wait to make something beautiful with.
I honestly couldn’t find a way to enter my name in the previous giveaway you had, but I’m hoping that you could take my name for this giveaway, which considering that you made them, most like I’ll frame them. If the entry to the giveaway must be done in a different way, please let me know, so I can possible have a chance.
Love you humble and honest attitude, all your guidance is greatly appreciated. 🙏🏾

  176. Rose Anderson says:

I love Christmas fabrics a lot and I’m partial to the traditional Christmas colors. So right now my faves for the holidays are Christmas Morning by Lella Boutique and of course Hollyberry from Coriander quilts. I would love to give one of your partially finished projects a home.

  177. Margie Falgout says:

Depending on the Christmas mood Fav colors are whimsical mood: turquoise, pinks…
More homey mood: teals, reds, apricot…
Christmas Morning is the very best!
Never won anything in my life but would be grateful and thankful if you would allow me to give your blocks a home!

  178. Lanell Curry says:

Dear Corey, I love, love, love all things Christmas. My husband threatens to “lose” some of my Christmas bins all the time. Now that I’m a quilter I have begun making more Christmas decor. Blending two loves of mine. I’ve not been quilting all that long and I’m rather slow! But quilting is my favorite happy time these days. I only have one because I have given all the others to family members and I have many left to make. However, I have used your patterns most recently and I think I need to keep them for myself – especially Apricot & Ash. I am so blessed by generous quilters that my cups runneth over! But having said that I would be doubly blessed by receiving quilt blocks from you! I encourage you to keep on creatin’, cuz I know I’m not alone when I say I love all things Corey and Coriander. Lanell Curry, Missoula, Montana

  179. kathy rucker says:

I love scrappy and old fashioned looking things. Love to give one of your quilts a new home.

  180. Judie says:

I’m a fairly traditional red and green Christmas girl and also love Christmas graceful prints of any color. I suppose one of my favorite Christmas fabrics are those by J. Wecker Frisch. Very unusual and pretty. Thanks for your videos Corey. I just discovered you on YT so am enjoying watching them while I sew.

  181. Polly Jones says:

I would love to get anything from you. I love your Cozy Up fabrics!

  182. Marcy Henri says:

    Thanks for another great giveaway!
I love all of Sweetwater’s Christmas lines but my absolute favorite holiday line is Holliberry! I’ve made one queen-sized quilt top (I designed myself from a vision I had of it in a dream) & probably have enough for at least 3 more & I still want to have more! I would love to have a full bolt of every fabric in the line & all the precuts to display in my sewing space 😊

  183. Lorraine Sutherland says:

My favorite Christmas line: I would say it’s a tie between Christmas Figs II and Holliberry. I prefer them because they do not have motifs like decorated Christmas trees, Santas, etc. They are pretty and elegant. You could use quilts made withe these fabrics outside of the Christmas season even though they have red and green and Christmas florals. I think aqua would look good with your red and gray in a Christmas line. Maybe a limey green would work too.

  184. Pris Phillips says:

I decorate with a lot of cranberry red and a darker green. I don’t care for metallic threads in fabrics and I have a strong aversion to glitter! Ha! I go for a Country flavor at Christmas time. Snowmen and Nutcrackers. Yay sort off thing. My current favorite lines tho are your Holliberry and Christmas Figs II which I combined to make my Snowflake Quilt top (which needs to be finished for this year!) It’s a bit lighter in style and color than what I’ve had before, but I love it!!

I could use either the blocks or the top to make a baby quilt for the NICU. That’s my thing I’m most passionate about. Baby quilts are just so fun to make too! I think my preference would be the blocks as I could mix them with other “Corey” fabrics to make something a bit bigger.

    Love your posts!

    Warmly,
    Pris Phillips
    (Mama_Pris on IG)

  185. Laura Ashcraft says:

I love all your fabric collections. I’m very excited about Sunwashed coming out, I think it will be my favorite. I love your Coriander Christmas Quilt, beautiful colors. I would be happy with anything from you, especially a signed fabric block. Thank you for your generosity! Laura

  186. Brandy Wilhelm says:

I would love to give your projects a new home. I really love anything vintage. Your fabric lines are also so happy. Thank you for all you do!

  187. Connie Lindstrand says:

I love Christmas and all comes with it! As far as fabrics – I love Christmas Morning. I have some Christmas batiks that I am looking forward to using. I like fabrics that don’t scream Christmas but can carry through winter months.I would give your projects a loving home in NC!

  188. Julie Mitchell says:

I would love to finish up your pillow top. The fabric is absolutely stunning

  189. Gail Jarrell says:

Thank you for sharing your Hymn Tea Towel quilt top. My husband and I are both musicians and are very active in our church providing music for services. When you showed your quilt, I decided that I wanted to get the towels together of my husband’s favorite hymns and make a quilt that will be all his. I am almost ready to begin putting it together. I’m thinking I can probably get it done by our 30th wedding anniversary in February next year. This would be a very special gift for our celebration of God bringing us together. So thank you for the inspiration. I’ll enter the giveaway too, but I mainly wanted to express my appreciation to you! Thank you!

I have purchased Very Coriander Christmas and look forward to doing it with red and green for this Christmas.

  236. Ellen says:

As far as your WIP video for August 2022, you showed a really nice fat quarter bundle of solids and asked for suggestions about what to do with those. I think those would complement very well with upcoming “song book, a new page” By fancy that design house. I wonder if it would look nice to use a panel from that collection to make a simple patchwork with yarn tie for the colored blocks and hand quilting around the songbook panel blocks. Just a thought, happy quilting! – Ellen

  237. Deb Overath says:

Hello! My favorite colors for the holidays seem to vary…I go back and forth between traditional Christmas-y reds with deep, hunter greens (perhaps even some blues) to more 1950’s style with the greens including some chartreuse and the reds including some pinks. It all depends on my mode when the holidays roll around! Lol! Enjoying your videos a lot…need to take time to read your blogs more carefully though. 😊

  238. I always enjoy your videos and tutorials. You always have such a pleasant disposition about you.

  240. Cathy Smith says:

I love many Christmas lines! Holliberry worked up beautifully in Coriander Christmas (I especially like the spring green in that line!). I also like lines that include greens that veer towards avocado like Sue Zipkins’ Merry and Bright. Those little Sugar Creek blocks would work in well with some Sugar Creek blocks that I just unearthed in my own sewing room, also started eons ago when the line first came out. I think they would combine into a lovely table topper for fall. Thanks, Corey, for all you do for us! I appreciated the tip in our Sunny Flowers class about matching up seams that don’t nest.

  241. Rose says:

It is definitely something you can advise me on.

My favorite collection has been Sweetwater’s Red Barn Christmas. Im also loving the looks of Pixie Noel by Tasha Noel.

I love the rich deep cranberry reds and pine greens but have also grown to enjoy the newer colors at Christmas with the bright reds and lime greens and aquas. Any snowy theme fabrics using blue and white is a great combo and is great to keep out all winter. Thanks for the chance to win. I need a small project to work on and this would be great to try out your big stitch hand quilting.

  260. Lynda Eickhoff says:

I really like the color pallet in the Christmas Morning line by Lella Boutique. I have made 3 quilts using this line. Each very different and beautiful. The tones of the reds and greens work well for my style and design tastes.

  261. Jan says:
