Blockheads 2 in 1!
Good Morning and happy Blockheads day! I am constantly amazed how quickly these weeks zip on by and before we know it, another Blockheads day has arrived. I am always getting my blocks done in just the nick of time so that I can share them with you on Wednesday!
Beginning this week, you are going to be receiving two different block patterns each week for a little while. You will get the block from the original Blockhead plus the block of the person they invited for Blockheads 2.
For this week, that means you are getting a block from Lynne Hagmeier, “Fidget Spinner” & one from Barb & Mary, “Corner Pocket”. You will want to visit their blogs for the patterns.
Up First, Block #14, Fidget Spinner. I used a mix of Sunnyside Up(coming in November), Flower Mill, & some of that awesome Basic Grey Newsprint:
And for Block #15, Corner Pocket, I used Pepper & Flax and Lulu Lane.
These are both 6″ blocks and they came together pretty quickly. I actually finished up these two blocks plus two more Monday afternoon. So, even though there is two of them, they are pretty quick to make.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend. My family and I had such a relaxing weekend. It always feels like the last “hurrah” before school really kicks in. We were able to spend a little bit of time at the Hartville Flea Market here in Ohio. And I was tickled to snag this beautiful quilt:
And now, it’s back to sewing. Several wonderful boxes of Moda fabrics arrived on my doorstep last week and Market sewing is in full swing. =)
