Blockheads Wednesday & Giveaway winner
Good morning!–hope your week is off to a wonderful start.
Today, I am sharing blocks 18-20 with you. I should have shared block #18 last week but it completely slipped my mind that it was a 3 block week. So, I’ve added it for this week. You will find the coloring page for block 18 included this week as well at the bottom of this post.
You saw Mishmash, Block 18, by Vanessa Goertzen last week and the pattern is available on her site. FYI, Moda has a running list of all of the blocks released if you ever forget to print one off or don’t remember which designer posted the block originally. Just visit this link for all of the blocks so far.
For my Mishmash block, I used a mishmash of fabrics–Sunnyside Up, Lulu Lane and the little white print is from Desert Bloom by Sherri & Chelsi.
Block 19 is by Betsy Chutchian and is called Rocky Road to California. Find the pattern on her site.
I have really been enjoying how Prairie (my first line of fabric) and Sunnyside Up (my line coming out in November) have been playing together. This block combines the two and I think it turned out so pretty.
The aqua floral is from Prairie and the background print from Sunnyside Up.
And the last block I’m sharing today is Go Fish by Stacy Iest Hsu. Visit her site for the pattern.
What could be cuter than two purple fish? I used Sunnyside Up (the purple fabric) and the background fabric is from Pepper & Flax. As I’ve said before, this might be my favorite background fabric ever.
And a shot of all of my 6″ blocks so far.
What a colorful, scrappy mix!
And lastly, I know that you have been wondering who the giveaway winner is for the Moda Merry Makers E-book.
The winner is: Kelly O. who said:
“oh Christmas!! How I love thee! My favourite family tradition is a winter sleigh ride on Christmas Eve!”
Congratulations! I’ve sent you an email. Thanks everyone for playing along. It has been fun reading about your favorite Christmas traditions!

Your fabrics are just so, so pretty!! Your quilt will be gorgeous when its done.
Such pretty blocks! I always look for your blocks because I love how yours look every week!
