Cuddle Up Sampler Sew Along: Week 2 {Snowman Block}
Welcome back to the second block in our Cuddle Up Sampler sew along. Our block for today is the Snowman block.
You can watch the video tutorial for this block here.
I thought it would be fun to see how the snowman block would look as a runner also.
This is the same layout that I used for the tree block runner I shared last time. The one thing I added was 2″ finished sashing between the snowman blocks. As I was mocking up the table runner, I thought it would be fun to also mock up a wall hanging version.
Using 4 snowman blocks, a 2″ inner border, and a 4″ outer border, you can make this cute 48″ square wall hanging/table topper.
Our blocks are shaping up quite nicely! If you’ve missed any of the Cuddle Up Sampler sew along news, you can find all of the posts that have been released so far here. The Cuddle Up Sampler pattern can be purchased here.
Feel free to share your blocks in the Coriander Quilts Facebook group. We’d love to see them!
Happy Sewing! Corey
I had so much fun making the tree, I couldn’t wait, and made my snowman, too! Your instructions are so clear!! I love them!
I’m so glad you find that to be the case Lori…and that you enjoyed making it!
