Fab Rainbow
I have been eyeing these Moda Cross Weaves for months and I finally bit the bullet and purchased the stack when I learned that The Fabric Quarter (the store I have been stalking to look at these little lovelies every couple days) is have a sale thru 4/30 (enter code TAXES25–good on full priced fabrics). That little bit of news tipped me right over the edge. The warp and the weft on these fabrics are two different colors which gives the fabric a wonderfully interesting appeal. In the bottom fabric you can see just what I am talking about. Just lovely. =)
Do you know if these have a textured feel or just look textured and feel like regular quilting cotton? I have been eye-balling them too but they look sorta like burlap and while I love the look I am not crazy about that texture or the weakness of the fabric. Would you mind letting me know when you get it?
That picture is taken right in my living room so I do have them in hand. =) The feel is very similiar to Kona cotton–not quite as light weight as a Bella solid. They really are wonderfully made fabrics. =)
