I’m in McCall’s Quilting!–Triangle Toss Quilt
I am so excited to finally be able to share with you my Triangle Toss Quilt in McCall’s Quilting May/June 2012 issue. I thoroughly love this quilt. =) Don’t be intimidated by all of those triangles–this quilt comes together very easily.
For my Triangle Toss Quilt I used a fun mix of Art Gallery Pure Elements fabrics. Now, I know that you have heard me wax poetic about these solids before, but seriously guys…they are amazing…the hand, the depth of color…I could go on.
Angela quilted this quilt for me and she did another amazing job!
The pattern is available in the issue just now hitting stores–the May/June 2012 issue. Kits for this quilt are also available here.

I love this quilt. I saw it in the magazine and love how you used such bright colors.
I have been following your blog and read McCall’s Quilting. Loved the quilt when I saw it in the magazine, didn’t realize it was yours till I read your blog today. Congrats on being published 🙂
I can’t believe I missed this. So Awesome. I love the solids. Congratulations!!!
gorgeous quilt – I actually saw this last night in an email I got from Quilter’s Club of America and have the kit on my to be purchased this week list 🙂
Just love it – you many not know it, but you are channeling the late great Doreen Speckmann. Your Triangle Toss is the reincarnation of “Peaky and Spike” – though the angles on those triangles are definitely a little bit different. What ARE those angles, where is my protractor?!
I think I’d rather strip and cut with the rotary cutter, so I’m gonna definitely find my old templates from Doreen Speckmann… thanks for reminding me of this wonderful old way to play with triangles, by turning them into a square block!
How fun!–If you happen to have any links to her work I’d love to see it!–I tried googling her but I didn’t have any luck.
I made this quilt for a friend’s baby. It was fairly easy and turned out GREAT. Thanks for the pattern!
Lovely quilt. Very bright and cheery.
