Introducing Joysome!…plus other fun things
We have so many things to talk about today!…a new fabric line, a new Sewcialites block, our next WIP number, and the March $5 pattern. A lot of fun things are jammed into today’s YouTube video.
I’m going to touch on everything quickly here, so be sure to watch the video for much more info!
First up new fabric….meet Joysome!
Joysome is showing to quilt shops and will be coming out in October. Shops are ordering it right now so be sure to let your favorites know if you’d like them to carry it. I’ll be sharing all of the new patterns for this line next week!
We’ve also got our next Sewcialites pattern, Twinsies by Susan Ache….I LOVE this block in Fruit Salad. I am sooo glad I went with Fruit Salad for these blocks! Keep an eye out for Fruit Salad fabric in your fave quilt shops in April.

I need the pattern for the leftover blocks from the Coriander BOM that I made last year.

Corey….Kimberly showed a cutting diagram for the 2026 BOM on her livestream 2/27 and said it was page 3 from the download. What I can find is only 2 pages (fabric requirements and schedule). Did she share something too early not meant for the public?
Yes, the two pages that you are able to download are the only two pages that have been released.
I made your block of the month quilt, and it turned out beautiful. A gentleman at our local senior center asks if I ever had an extra quilt, he would love one. He had a hard 2025 with losing 2 loved ones so it warmed my heart when had tears and was thrilled.

Hi Corey! I’m just purchased a FQ bundle of In the Garden & I’m planning to make Fanciful. I want to make extra blocks to arrange them in a 5 x 5 layout. I think that will make the quilt 93” square. Do you think 3 yards would be enough for sashing? And would 3.5 yds of white & 1 yd of binding work out?
