Lots of fun in today’s Coriander Quilts YouTube video!
In today’s video, I am sharing a beautiful, FREE fall themed sampler quilt, showing Elonie’s finished quilt, sharing a fun quilty find, 2 special guests stop by, one asks for help with quilting decisions, and I’m chatting about quilt block naming…among other things! =)
It’s always fun to chat with all of you on Saturday mornings…sharing your comments and questions and talking about quilting. See you over on YouTube! =) Layer cake Giveaway winners are announced at the end of the video. =)
Have a wonderful Saturday! Corey
Are the beautiful quilts hanging in and around you in a book collection? Fabric collection?
They are all individual patterns. You can find the pattern names and links to the patterns in the description box below the video. Several are made from my Cozy Up line, the mini quilt is from my Sundrops line, and the Maple Leaf quilt is a scrappy mix of a number of my lines.
I like the loopy snowflake pattern. Also, your daughter’s quilt is beautiful and snuggly, she should be proud of her first quilt.
I want to thank you for the clear, concise, and through way you write your quilt patterns. I have been making some other quilts and find those instructions to be lacking.
I would like to know about the quilts behind you no your set for this video also, They are so pretty and fallish looking. I love the homespun quilt also. Do you have advice for using flannel for a backing? I’ve never done that but think it would be so nice and cozy and make a really warm quilt. Thanks for your helpful videos.
I was fun to see Elonie’s completed quilt and so good to hear how happy she is with it. Nicole did a beautiful job piecing her calliope quilt and I, too, find selecting the right quilting pattern is more difficult than selecting the fabrics but just as important to the finished project. Living in the mountains at an elevation of 7500 I am familiar with and fond of snowflakes, but my personal choice would be the star lines pattern. I find that when my blocks are very geometrical I prefer a quilting pattern that flows. Whichever one of those options show are chosen I am sure the result will be lovely. Thanks for sharing.
