Moda Block Heads Block 55
Good Morning and welcome to Block 55 of Moda Block Heads. =)
Just one more block to release after this week. Today our block is brought to us by Jen Kingwell and you will find the free block pattern available on her blog here.
This was a fun one to piece and it looks much more difficult to piece than it actually is. You may be looking at it wondering how all of those pieces are cut and sewn. It was definitely a fun one. And another great way to use up those rainbow scraps. The dark gray text print is from Spring Brook and I really like how it frames all of those pretty brights.
Just one more block to go after this one. I will be sharing my completed quilt next week and I adore the way it came together. It is bringing me some sunshine in my sewing room as I bind it! =)
I also wanted to remind you of the lay out information I had provided last year. As you are starting to consider how you might put your blocks together you may find this handy. The information for this layout can be found here. And the lay out can be seen below.
I’ve started to see some of you using this lay out over in the Moda Block Heads facebook group and your quilts are looking amazing! On a side note, I ended up putting my blocks together differently than this and you’ll get to see that next week.
Have fun sewing our second to last block and Happy Wednesday! Corey
Corey, I love your layout but cannot find a way to print it off from the previous blog post referred to in today’s blog post (aka the green Print button). Can you help direct me to that information?
Probably the easiest way to do it now would be to copy/paste the info that you’d like to print into a Word doc and print from there.
Thank you Corey! Keep up the good work on fabrics too! I am sooooooo in love with Apricot/Ash…have several different bundles! Stay safe and be warm!
Hi Corey. Same for me. I can not find the Green Print Button. Also, is there a layout for the 4″ and 12″ blocks? If there was, I missed it. Karen
The easiest way to print the info now would be to copy/paste what you’d like into a word doc and print from there. No, I didn’t provide info for the 4″ or 12″ blocks. =)
Hi Corey. I did do the copy and paste. Thanks Will there be more layout information for the other block sizes coming out?
Oh good!–No, there will not be.
I’m having the same issue as Teresa — Even on today’s post, I don’t see a “Sharing is Caring” or a green button for printing.
The easiest way to print the information now would be to copy/paste the info that you’d like into a word doc and print from there.
Thank You so very much!! Very much appreciated. Barb
You are so welcome!–and your thank you is so appreciated! =)
