Welcome to Week 8 of Moda Block Heads Round 3.

Our Block this week is a fun 9 Patch block brought to us by Laurie Simpson.  Visit her blog for the free pattern.

I kept my fabric choices very simple for this week.  I opted to use just two prints.  The floral print is from Sunnyside Up and the little linen type print is from Lulu Lane.  I am making all 6″ blocks for my sampler, so these pieces are pretty small.

In case you missed it, I shared the fabric requirements and cutting instructions for the lay out I am using last week in this blog post.  I have given instructions for either all 6″ or all 8″ blocks.  A quilt using this exact layout in the 12″ size would be larger than a King sized quilt so I did not give instructions for that size.
