It’s almost new quilt share time! I’ve been busy this week getting all of the new Cali & Co. patterns ready to go for their big reveal tomorrow. I’ll have a brand new trunk show video on @youtube and blog post going up at 10am EST tomorrow morning talking about all of the new quilt patterns. I have a new charm pack pattern, layer cake pattern, & jelly roll pattern. We also have a new Barn Star and an old favorite made new! I’m so looking forward to sharing all the new goodies with you. Cali & Co. fabrics are set to ship in November to local and online quilt shops. #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quilt #modafabrics #showmethemoda #madewithmoda #quiltlove #charmpackquilt #layercakequilt #jellyrollquilt #caliandcofabric #corianderfence
I was starching some @tilda_usa fabrics for a project I need to work on (those of you that follow my @youtube channel will see what I’m using these fabrics for soon) and look who made himself right at home. We don’t call him #tiggsthefabrickitty for no reason. 😂 PS, I don’t typically pre-starch my fabrics for those wondering. I get asked this frequently. #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quilting #tildafabrics #quiltproject #quilt
When I was creating my Cali & Co. fabric line, I wanted to make sure we not only had a rainbow of brights but also a rainbow of low volume fabrics. I love the way these soft brights play on their own. It makes me want to design something specifically for them. Cali & Co. is showing to quilt shops right now and will be in shops in November. Have you ever made a strictly low volume quilt? #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quilt #modafabrics #showmethemoda #madewithmoda #fabriclove #lowvolumefabric #flowerfabric
Thank you so much for all of the kind comments about my new Cali & Co. fabric line yesterday! For those of you that guessed the name is a play on "calico", you were right. =) I am so excited for all of the possibilities this line has. From all of those small prints that are perfect for piecing to the variety of colorful low volumes, as well as a rainbow of color, this line has been such fun to design and play with! I am chatting about Cali & Co. over on the blog today as well as in a brand new YouTube video. If you want a peek at one of my new quilt patterns be sure to check out the video for a brand new Barn Star quilt pattern that I'll be releasing soon. Cali & Co. fabrics come out in November and quilt shops can order them now to ship when they come out. #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quilt #modafabrics #showmethemoda #madewithmoda #fabriclove #caliandcofabric #calicofabrics
I am so excited to introduce you to Cali & Co. fabrics. #caliandcofabrics It’s my brand new collection for @modafabrics showing to quilt shops right now. It’s full of the sweetest little floral prints, cherries, and dots. Does anyone catch the play on words in the name of the collection? Cali & Co. will be in quilt shops in November and can be ordered by shops now. Stop by tomorrow for the full collection reveal! #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quilt #quilts #fabriclove #showmethemoda #madewithmoda
I've just released another free scrappy quilt block pattern. This makes the 9th block in this series. Today's block pattern is a scrappy butterfly block. It pairs so beautifully with the scrappy clover block as well as the scrappy tulip block...such fun springtime blocks. You'll find the free block pattern on my blog. #coreyyoder #corianderquilts #patchwork #quiltblock #scrappyquiltblock #scrapquilt #modafabrics #showmethemoda #madewithmoda
I love how the pebble quilting softens the straight lines of the block! Look forward to seeing it finished!
So sweet! But I am terrified to try pebble quilting. And I think I know what the appliqués are- something to do with wellies? 🙂
I think pebble quilting has the same soft look as free motion quilting but with a more controlled, planned look… I love it, and I think it looks good with these prints. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing 🙂
the colors are so soft and soothing
Love the pebble quilting… can’t wait to see it all finished.
you did great on the pebbling, can’t wait to see the finish!
It’s looking cuter and cuter.
I can’t believe anyone has that much control. My free motion quilting is not even mediocre. What you have done is amazing. The quilting adds so much to the finished piece.
So soft looking & love the quilting. I so need to try this.
Gosh how pretty and soft looking is the whole pillow top. You must be so proud of how its turning out.
i love the look of pebble quilting!
Oooooh I see some applique on there! I love your applique touches so much! This pillow is going to be stunning! I’m so jealous of whomever wins it!
Love the pebble quilting…if only I were brave to try it. 😉
The pillow is looking gorgeous!
Hugs
Jenny
I love this kind of quilting, such fun, and I think should be called ‘bubble’ quilting 🙂 I’m very curious to see what you are adding to this darling pillow!
Love pebble quilting!!
Love your quilting!
Is the pebble quilting totally free style or is it planned? Looks great either way.
This is looking really gorgeous! I’m in love with froggy Prince Charming *sigh*
oooh Corey…..I’m so impressed with the pebble quilting…..how on earth do you get the circles so perfect!!????
You are one talented little chicky….and I love your style! LOL
sugary hugs
Wendy :O)
I just love your work on this! What greet combination of colors and texture. Can’t wait to see it complete!
A. DORBS. Your pebble quilting looks fantastic! I wish I were half as talented. All straight lines for me. Again I say, the winner is one lucky lucky person.
