Pattern Corrections

Each of my patterns is read, tested, and edited multiple times, but occasionally an error slips through.  Errors are fixed immediately in any future printings and PDF’s and corrections are posted here.  Additionally, I hand correct all of my in stock patterns before sending them out as soon as any errors are spotted.

If you find any errors, please contact me.  Thank you!

#114 Backroads: On a handful of patterns in the 3rd printing only, the first image under Step 4 on page 2 was misprinted.  It should look like this:

#118 Line Dried:  Page 5, Step 1 should read as follows “Star 4 is constructed exactly like Star 1A.  Each Star 4 block requires (8) small print triangles & (1) 1 1/2″ print square (all from the same print) and the following background pieces: (8) small triangles & (4) 1 1/2″  squares.  Please note that the cutting instructions are still correct on pages 1 & 2 of the pattern.

#134 Smattering:  Page 4, The printing company erred in printing the final layout image.  This error only effects early copies of the PAPER version. To View and print out the correctly colored quilt layout, click the PDF below:

Smattering Layout

#135 Lemon Meringue: Page 1, The print company erred in printing out the fat eighth cutting diagrams.  This error only effects early copies of the  PAPER version.  The wording is correct for both diagrams but the images are not.  Both diagrams should include (8) 2″ squares to be cut from the fat eighth which you see included in the written instructions.

#136 Sunny Sampler: Page 7, step 1 at the top of the page, The roof unit will measure 2″ x 3 1/2″.

#139 Hello Friend: Page 1, The print company erred in printing out the fat quarter cutting diagram.  This error only effects early copies of the PAPER version.  The wording is correct but the diagram should include the (8) 2″ squares.

#143 Plain & Fancy: Not a correction but perhaps a helpful tip:  If you prefer to square up your dresden blocks after the dresdens have been sewn onto the background squares, purchase 3 2/3 yards background fabric and cut your (B) squares to 15 1/2″ square.  Trim up after sewing the dresden in place.

#144 Sincerely Yours: Page 1, Under the Red print Cutting piece (M) is a rectangle not a square.  The measurement is accurate.

#145 Barn Star 3: In the Beautiful Day Printing of this pattern, under Supplies Needed you will need 1/8 yard of the green print fabric and 3/8 yard of the gray print fabric.  This error only affects Paper versions of the pattern with the Beautiful Day cover.

#146 Beholden: Just a note: The seams in your Beholden block will look like the block pictured at the bottom of page 4.  They are shown slightly different in the final layout.

#152 Loveliness: Page 1, piece (D) is a rectangle not a square.  The measurement is accurate.

#167 Woodland Frolic: Page 16, the final sentence should read: “sew the pieces together to form a horizontal seam in the backing”

#177 Praises:  There is one change you might like to make.  On page 6 step 10, you can substitute the J square for a D square.  J will be the same print as your center star whereas D is the same print as the outer star points.  You have cut enough of either to use whichever you would prefer.

#194 Jelly Sticks: In step 3, Unit 2 will measure 4 1/2″ x 12 1/2″.

#199 Jelly Stick Mini: In step 5, you will make 16 blocks.

#198 Barn Star 5: From the white background fabric only (2) I squares are needed (not 5).

Checks Mix Quilts:  There is an update on the fabric requirements for “Check Your Heart”.  You will need 1 7/8 yards of the white background fabric.

A Very Coriander Christmas:  There is an update to the coloring of one of the illustrations on page 29.  You can see the update here.

#201 Scrap Basket Stars: On page 2, you will need (50) 4 patch units.

#206 Deerly Loved: The graphic at the top of page 3 has been updated with 3 new labels. This PDF includes the updated image. The changes do not affect any of the cutting information or labels throughout the rest of the pattern.
