Pattern Testers Wanted
Hello All! I hope everyone’s Monday is off to a great start! Here at the Yoder household it is off to a sleepy start. The Spring time change is never a welcome one here. It leaves us all tired, and slightly cranky. However, I am very thankful not to have to adjust a newborn to the time change any longer–that was even trickier! I am also excited to have temperatures nearing 50 today–that’s almost shorts weather here in Ohio folks! =p
By they way, I don’t have photos exactly pertaining to today’s topic so instead I am interspersing this post with some beautiful Moda fabrics for no other reason than that a blog post needs some pretty pictures!
January and February have proven to be very busy months. With Spring Quilt Market just a couple months away, I have kicked things into a higher gear. The reason for this is that I will be attending market again this Spring and I will be launching a new pattern line.
I can’t wait to share my patterns with you. =) Right now, they are in the testing phase and ready for some pattern testers. I would love to compile a list of readers who might be interested in pattern testing for me. Interested testers are those who love to make quilts, have an eye for detail, will give honest feedback, & can test the patterns quickly(within a 1 to 2 week turn around).
In return for your feedback, you would receive the complete collection of this set of patterns upon their release and perhaps a little fabric surprise. =)
If this sounds like something that might interest you, send me an email(just hit the pink “contact me” button on the top right of my page). I will be compiling a data base of testers and contacting several of you for this first round of patterns.
Thanks so much!
You can count me in! Your patterns have always been a dream to follow-I can’t imagine these would be any different.
I have never tested patterns before but I am retired now and have the time.
I would love to pattern test but can only do a mini or a block or 2. I’ve tested before for some people on IG- user name is crbeeman. Love your blog!
I have never tested a pattern before, but would love to try one of yours. I work quickly and meticulously. Just wondering if it is up to the testers to quilt the quilt or just piece the top.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Ps. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
If you need a tester from Switzerland, I would be happy to do it for you. I have been a regular pattern tester for Ruth Blanchet from Arbee Designs, in case you need some recommendations.
I am new at this, but am willing to try. I love your tutorials and your blog.
You know I am a Corey fan. If you get more experienced testers, I understand, no problem. You are still my hero.
bettyharden@charter.net
I’ve enjoyed your tutorials very much and I’m always looking for new things to try. I’d like to be included in your testing. Thanks.

I’d be very happy to test your patterns. I have the time to devote full time to this project and can give you a quick turnaround as you require. I also am looking to become a pattern tester for a designer so this would be something I have wanted to do for a long time.

Hi Corey…I would be thrilled to work with you as one of your pattern testers. I have tested patterns for other designers and have made quilt tops for quilt market. The designers I have helped are Anne Sutton, Amanda Murphy, Amanda Jean Nyberg and Robin Kingsley. The patterns included piecing, machine appliqué and hand embroidery. Happy stitching, Pauline
Would love to pattern test for you. I have been sewing for 25 plus years.
Diane
I wouldn’t mind being a pattern tester. It’s an important job – making sure things read well enough for others to follow. Would they have to be quilted or just sewn up into tops?
I would love to test your patterns and give positive and constructive feedback. I am retired and have no outside obligations that would interfere with a quick turn around. Please let me know if I can assist you. Very excited for you.
i would love to help you out!
Sounds like fun! Take care, Leslie
I would LOVE to be a tester and for sure could do the turn around as asked. I am a stay at home mom. I would love to be a tester for sure!! 🙂

Hi there Corey,
I couldn’t find the pink ‘contact me’ button, sorry!
I have tested patterns before and would like to be considered to test yours!
I have been quilting since 1992 and consider myself to be an intermediately- skilled quilter. I don’t work anymore and am in my mid-40’s.
I love colour and the lovely prints available now…so much nicer than in 1992!
Thanks!
Would love to try this me and my Aunt do quilts all the time

I would love to test you patterns…I am retired and spend most days quilting in some way…I am a wicked proof reader and love small, repetitive designs…I’m noted for my precision piecing…last year I did a quilt with 472 2″ HST units…once did a small mat with a foundation paper pieced center with more than 100 pieces
I’m such a good proofreader I can’t even spell “your”!!! Good grief!
Would love a chance to test for you.
