Pillow Talk Swap Round #4

I’ve been busy working on a lot of fun projects–one that I really can’t wait to share with you but, you’ll have to wait until the first of the year…. =)
I’ve also been working on Round 4’s Pillow Swap.  I always love the swap and this round is no exception!  For my partner, I am working on a little stitchy pillow in reds & aquas.  I had a lot of fun sketching this one up–this was the first sneak peek for my partner that I gave last week:
And here’s sneak peek #2:
I have really been loving this old school hand quilting and decided to give it a whirl.  I will admit that I am not very fast at it but I really enjoy it.  It’s perfect to work on while watching a few of my guilty pleasures in the evening….namely reality tv shows…I think I must be addicted, hee hee! =)
The pillow top is now finished I just need to decide on the back–I have been waiting for some fabric that I ordered from Australia to arrive but it is taking it’s own sweet time so I may need to rethink my plan.
I also finished up this little number:
Thanks to your suggestions I opted to go with the topper/wall hanging instead of the pillow.  I think it will be a bit more versatile this way.
Now, I have a few more projects to get under my belt quickly so I should have more fun to share soon! =)

Waiting (im)patiently to see the whole pillow top. And I got a dresden ruler and some Parisville fabric. Because I'm thinking dresdens in that fabric on some linen would be cool. But I've never done dresdens before…

Out of curiosity, can you divulge what you ordered from Australia??
