Sewcialites Block 17

Happy Friday friends–the weekend is in sight. =)  Isn’t it so much fun to have a new block to look forward to each week as we head into the weekend.

Our Sewcialites block this week is the Peace block, designed by Anne Sutton.  You will find the free block pattern on the Fat Quarter Shop blog today.  You can find all of the blocks released so far for this sew along here.

This will be a nice quick block for you to sew.  I am using Spring Brook fabrics for my blocks (which I’ve heard will be shipping to quilt shops very soon!–yay!).

I just knew that when this fabric started making it into quilt shops that we would all be itching for a bit of Spring.  Usually I am all about snow and winter but this year give me all of the sunshine and warm days! =)  Isn’t it funny how different seasons feel different each year?
