Stack O’ Fabric

Bee Hexed In Fabrics--January

So, I think my family is finally on the mend–we came down with some fantastic germs that lasted from Christmas Eve until New Year’s Eve…yippee! LOL  I hadn’t even had a chance to take the humidifier out of Elonie’s room before this round hit–hopefully we are good to go now for awhile.  I guess Christmas is the season of giving, right?! =)  Note to all my family members for next year….we prefer cash or gift cards…you may gift your germs elsewhere! =)

So, I’m glad everyone is enjoying Birdie Stitches!  I am seeing some amazing blocks in the flickr group.  This one is my current fave:

It is made by Liz–don’t you just love that she is using vintage sheets!?  I think it’s a fabulous idea…can’t wait to see the rest of her blocks.

I’ve been trying to keep on top of any questions I receive in regard to this BOM so feel free to shoot me any questions you might have!  Also, the ladies in the flickr group are wonderfully helpful. =)

That’s a scrummy stack of fabric! That vintage sheet block is TDF, it really stood out to me when I was looking at the group the other day. Glad you and your family are feeling better.

Wow on all the progress on the birdie blocks! I was so consumed by the stack of fabrics, I neglected to compliment Liz on hers – those prints are perfect – can’t believe they’re sheets! And lots to see over at the flickr site too. Mine’s hooped, but haven’t started it yet!

The fabric is screaming to be fondled!!! (Hello, my name is Nancy and I am a Fabric Fondler) *sigh* I can’t help myself. As for the gifting of germs…well, evidently I picked them up from your house because I have been seriously cruddy for a week now and still counting. No sewing goin on here. Ugh! Hugs just the same…

Love the stack! Quick question re embroidery. Do you use any kind of stabilizer on the back of the fabric before you embroider?
