Sunday Afternoon Shopping
The perfect cure for a little “wah wah I didn’t get to go to quilt market” blues is some retail therapy. Especially when all of these lovelies are just waiting to be purchased:
My mom and I decided to do a little spur of the moment shopping yesterday and I found all of these fabrics in one quilt shop. Before I left, Ryan said to me: “you know that you are going to drive all the way there(the shop is about 2.5 hours from my house) and you’re gonna walk in and not find anything and turn around and leave.” Boy was he wrong….he probably wishes he was right. =p
These “Peas and Carrots” fabrics were all sitting neatly just waiting to be purchased…and how about these Summer in the City fabrics:
I have a little bit of SITC yardage and some charm packs that I purchased several years ago so these fit in perfectly.
What a fun shopping trip! =)
what little shot did you find these in? maybe toward the Indiana border??
Ohhh – looks good! I am hoping to get up to Charm and thereabouts to do some shopping this week! Can't wait to see what you make 🙂
LOL! Love your fabric purchase…
You know you HAVE to share where!! I was just petting my little remaining stack of SITC fabrics yesterday 🙂
these are such fun, happy fabrics! Sounds like a great day of retail therapy.
Very nice accumulation 🙂 All necessary, too.
Have you heard about the Sewing Summit? That may ease your quilt market pain, it is making me feel better!
Can't believe you found Summer in the City! The gods were smiling! This is my all time favourite fabric range. So gorgeous. Well done you.
I have some SITC too. What are you going to do with yours?? The dots are fabulous!
Beautiful fabrics!!! Love the dots! And the daisies!
Love the "peas and carrots"!
Looks like a very fruitful shopping trip indeed! And speaking of fruitful – have you clicked over to http://www.WeAllSew.com to see all the awesome stitchiness shared over there?
