I love this quilt. The design is just beautiful. I like the idea of hand quilting as well; however, I have never done it before and don’t know how. Would it be possible for you to post a tutorial on that?

call me a beginner, but how did you hand quilt it. Do you use a large hoop or quilt frames??? I love the look but don’t know how to attempt it. Do you a tutorial for hand quilting????

Did you order the solid grey fabric online and if so from where? My local shop isn’t going to carry the Sunkissed line so I’m not sure where to order from. Thanks for your help. I live your block of the month too.

I’ve been following your blog a little while now, and I’ve been sewing the birdie stitches, but you deserve a big CONGRATS on your first Moda Bake Shop Quilt. It’s super. I’ve been loving using the Sunkissed fabric for the birdies…and now I’m so happy to have a great pattern to use it in another project. I love what you designed.
I love it!!! I need that on my bed. Question: How do you get your hang quilting so straight? It looks fabulous but I need to know the secret because my lines never look that straight.

This is fabulous! I bought the Moda Sunkissed layer cake last week and have been wonder what I would make out of it! This pattern is right up my ally! Not only that but another quilty friend has been encouraging me to try a bit of hand quilting and I think you have just given me the perfect project to try it on!
I like how you quilted with the different colors on the light strips. How did you quilt the rest of the quilt? I am assuming that it is handquilted too. Did you use the same colors for the other blocks?
I too am having a hard time finding the sold moda sunkissed gray. Could you give us a source?

Beautiful! I have used the perle cotton to hand quilt with and you can finish a fairly large quilt in very little time.

i absolutely love this quilt. Will the pattern be given at a later date? I tried getting it, but evidently I’m not looking in the right place. Anyway, the quilt is beautiful, even my husband liked it. So I would really like to get the information so I can make it.
