$5 Pattern of the Month/WIP Challenge

Welcome back friends!…while it was nice having a little bit of time off over the holidays it is nice to be chatting with all of you once again.

We’ve got a few things to talk about today! First up, let’s chat about the January 2026 $5 pattern of the month.

For this month, I am offering the Gingham Garden quilt pattern for $5. Currently, as I type this, I have both Paper and PDF versions available in my Etsy shop. I do anticipate the Paper patterns to sell out.

Gingham Garden was originally made using my Strawberry Jam line of fabric. It finishes at 68″ x 82″.

It’s available to purchase here.

I’ve also added a new wintery backdrop bundle to the shop. It features 4 quilt patterns: Warm Hearted, Starry Gingham, Jelly Roll Patchwork, and Jelly Dash.

Lastly, I am chatting about the 2026 WIP challenge for this year over in today’s YouTube Video. I’d love to have you join in! You can watch here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Corey

I absolutely loved your 2025 BOM project! I couldn’t hardly wait for the next month block to come out!! I haven’t gotten mine together yet, I made extras of each to make a king size quilt, but I will now that all the 2025 stuff has been put away. Will you be doing another BOM for 2026? I so hope you do! Stay warm and enjoy the new year!

My daughter came I decided to do a WIP challenge this year. She is a yarn girl, so she will be finishing crocheted or knitted things and I will be doing quilts. We wanted to invited my son’s girlfriend, who is finishing up an accelerated master’s program and definitely won’t have an extra moment. She decided to pick a food ingredient and make a dish using that draw. We are all excited to start.

While I was watching I grabbed my personal goals list and jotted down my 12 projects. I hope I can keep up, I also have a WIP list with my quilt guild. That means 2 projects a month. Well almost. We only do 9 in our guild as we don’t meet some months because of fair, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year I did get some of the ones on my list done just not the months they were due!

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
