Heartfelt Charity Quilt Along Release 4: Sweethearts Block + Bonus Blockheads block + video

It’s another day full of so many fun things!  I have two new block patterns to share with you.  Today is release day for a new Heartfelt block as well as a bonus Moda Blockheads block.  Let’s dive in!

Let’s begin with the Heartfelt quilt block pattern.  If you are here for the Moda Blockheads pattern, skip about halfway down. =)

Today is the release of the 4th quilt block for this quilt along.  You can find the pattern for the 4th block, Sweethearts here.

Fabric requirements for the complete quilt can be found here.

Block 1 can be found here.

Block 2 can be found here.

Block 3 can be found here.

All of the patterns for the blocks, the cross stitch patterns, as well as the bonus patterns can be found on this page.  It’s a great one to bookmark so you don’t miss out on anything!

Since we last chatted about these blocks, we’ve raised another $7,000 which brings us to within $20,000 of our fundraising goal for Make-A-Wish Central/South Texas.

If you happen to be unfamiliar with the Heartfelt charity quilt along, you can find more details here.

Just as in months previous, I am using a scrappy mix of my fabrics along with other Moda fabrics.

The red fabric and the pink fabric above are from two of my fabric lines and the aqua and green are from one of Stacy Iest Hsu’s lines of fabric.  The two prints below (yellow & red) are from my lines.

The white on white background fabric I’ve used in these blocks is from my upcoming Coriander Seeds line of fabric.  Right now, Coriander Seeds is showing an end of June delivery.  In the block below, the pink dot is a Bonnie & Camille fabric and the yellow is from one of my lines.

And in this last block, The blue dot is Bonnie & Camille and the green is a Fig Tree fabric.

After I filmed a video last month showing my Heartfelt blocks so far, you all wanted me to continue doing so going forward.  So, I’ve filmed a new video for today showing these blocks, as well as my Moda Blockheads blocks I made through April.  You’ll find that video here.

Let’s move onto the bonus Moda Blockheads block…it’s a great one!

Look at this pretty Star Turn block that Lisa Bongean has designed for us.

You will find the pattern for the Star Turn block here.

It mixes beautifully with Lisa’s block from Wednesday.  The center is the exact same size on both blocks (for the 9″ block, you cut the center at 5″ square) and works wonderfully for using the check fabric from Cozy Up.

I am so enjoying these Cozy Up fabrics for these blocks.  They have been such a treat to make every week!

As I mentioned up above, I’ve shared all of my Moda Blockheads blocks in my latest YouTube video if you’d like to see them a little bit more.  You’ll find that video here.

Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Sewing!! Corey
