Where to start??
We have so many things in today’s episode that I’m not even sure where to start! Let’s go with the May $5 pattern first. I am offering my Around Town quilt for this month’s $5 pattern.
This quilt is so much fun to make. I’ve mentioned several times that it was my favorite quilt to piece of all of my Sherbet Sunshine patterns. It’s simple and so fun!
I wanted to see what it would look like using Fruit Salad…and it’s just the most summertime quilt ever!:

Here are the fabric requirements for the quilt (I always provide this in the Etsy listing so you can see what you’d need in advance of purchasing the pattern):
If you wanted to make a version different than the Sherbet Sunshine flannels version with different fabrics, you’d want to swap out each fabric accordingly.
We also have a new Sewcialites quilt block pattern today.
Such a beautiful block in Fruit Salad fabrics! It was a quick and easy block to piece this week.

I absolutely love these wooly sheep! I’m looking forward to making your new Wooly Flower quilt. Recently, I made your Wooly Wall Hanging using Janet Wecker Frisch’s Scripture fabric since Jesus is the lamb of God. I would love to share photos of the finished quilt, but don’t know where/how to send it.

Thanks for sharing and teaching! A few months back you mentioned going to the Ohio Amish quilt shop hop (not the all Ohio shop hop), where can I find out more info about that? Do you know if there is going to be another Amish quilt shop hop this year?
HI Corey – I really like the storage you found for the alphabitties. I was thinking that the beading boxes may be just right for the alpha clippies. they are a little deeper and it would help to sort them out a bit. I don’t think you can hang them up, but maybe some come with the tab. Thanks for a very interesting Saturday morning.
Love the colors in Fruit salad. I went to Etsy, I say a 4 pack of patterns one was a small block surrounded by solid fabrics. Is there a video on that?and or a pattern? Please advise where I can locate it. Then I can order the May pattern and the tiny block surrounded by solid fabric numerous blocks, make the. thank you
Hi Corey and welcome back Nicole. Hope all is well with you.
I am new to quilting and have learned a lot but have even more to learn. (Less than a year into quilting.). I am doing your BOM, my first one, and would like for you to go over something in one of your tutorials for me and any other newbies out there. Since your BOM is going to be a square. How do I square up my block as it gets bigger. I get you line it up on the lines and cut with a ruler, but how does one make sure everything is centered as we had the borders to this quilt. Seems simple but not so simple if that makes sense.
