$5 September Pattern/3 Finished WIPs/Sneak Peek at Fall Patterns
Today’s YouTube video goes over a variety of topics from unboxing quilts back from David to sneak peeks of 2 new fall patterns I’m working on to viewer quilts plus more!
I did want to mention here on the blog that the $5 pattern of the month is Marketplace.
Marketplace is a fat quarter friendly quilt. You can grab it during the month of September for just $5 in either Paper or PDF formats in my Etsy shop.
My quilt was originally made using Apricot & Ash which unfortunately is no longer in quilt shops. But, here’s what it would look like in Birch & Willow:

Both of those fabric lines are currently in quilt shops and would be so pretty made up into the Marketplace quilt pattern.

I love the pattern. I have some Abloom left and I think it would look great in that as well. The greens, oranges and browns with the little tweety birds would be really pretty. I have fallen in love with Sunroom and then last night I realized that Joysome is still not in stores yet either. This next year is going to so much fun!!!! I’m trying to find some Cozy Up so I can do Roadside Harvest quilt. It looks really fun. I really enjoy watching your videos. And I recently tried your binding method (except I used 2 1/2” strips). I think it really helped my bindings look better. I just bought a sewing machine in January and started learning to sew and quilt. I believe I have become obsessed. I don’t want to do anything else. You are such an inspiration to me. I am almost finished with an Ohio Star quilt I’m doing in your Abloom fabric. I can’t wait to show it to you. Thank you for all you do!!!!!!
