Final Two
Just a few more quilts to share from Sunnyside Up. I went so overboard with this line and my quilt designs. I even have more designs that I could have done but I knew I needed to stop somewhere!
First up is Rainbows.
This pattern includes both a print version and a solid version. In the pattern, the quilts are both the same size but you’ll notice I opted to leave the border off of my solids quilt.
The solids are a mix of Bella Solids that coordinate with Sunnyside Up. I’ll be sharing the colors in a future post and will most likely offer solids bundles for sale again.
And here’s the print version:
For the print version, I had originally planned to use a white background (9900-200 is always my preferred choice of solid white), but at the last minute changed to the dark background. And, while I don’t hate the dark background, I wish I had stuck with the light background. My reason for changing up the color was because I didn’t want to lose the contrast against some of my lighter prints….but I definitely like this quilt better with a light background.
My last quilt pattern is Good Hearted.
This quilt is a little bit different in that I am not selling this pattern. It is only available through quilt shops that have purchased Sunnyside Up. So, if you like Sunnyside Up and/or this specific pattern, make sure your local quilt shop orders the line so they get the free pattern!
I used Moda Cross Weave in Black for the background and really like how the colors pop. The quilt uses fat quarters, the Sunny panel, and background…and it comes together quickly.
And backed with minky, it is a dreamy quilt!
Kaylene Parry quilted all three of these quilts for me as well.
The new patterns are available in the shop in both PDF and Paper version, with the exception of Good Hearted, of course!
Have a delightful weekend!
I love them all. Your pattern ideas are endless!
I really love the new fabric line. I’ll check with my local fabric store when it’s available. You’ve done a wonderful job creating your patterns and fabric.
I like that mocha background although I suppose it would be more summery with the white background. All the quilts look fantastic and thank you so much for sharing.
You can never go overboard with your fabric or patterns! I love the Rainbows in the solids. Can’t wait for the solid names/numbers. I can get started before November! I have your new patterns so I’ll start with solids. You’re awesome and I miss you !
Love, love, love to see your work. So inspiring. Thank You.
Do you have a list of shops in Berlin Ohio
