Abloom Embroidery Tutorial, A&A Runner Giveaway, MBH Blocks
Today’s video is a chatty one! I am sharing a LOT of information about how to stitch on the Abloom panel.
It includes info from supplies, to technique, to questions I’ve received. If you have been wondering about how to stitch on your panel, this video covers a lot. =)
I’ve also shared the next two MBH blocks that I’ve made. You can download the block pattern here.
And lastly, I have drawn the next number for our WIP challenge and chatted about my progress from last month.
That brings us to the giveaway that I mentioned in the video. You can see me chat about this runner and share it in more detail towards the end of today’s video. I am giving away this table runner top to one winner.
To enter the giveaway, first make sure that you are a Coriander Quilts YouTube channel subscriber. You can subscribe to the channel here. Then, leave a comment in the comment box below (scroll down to the end of the comments to find the comment box). Any friendly comment will do..maybe a favorite memory from this past week, or something you are looking forward to doing this summer.
I will leave the giveaway open through Thursday, June 12. The winner will be contacted via email and will be announced here on Saturday, June 21.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Corey
The colors in that runner are so sweet! I may need to “switch up” my
normal color palette
Enjoy spending Saturday morning with you and also get inspired to stitch! We are looking forward to a Colorado mountain trip with our family this August. Family time is the best!
Good morning Corey,
Love your new Abloom fabrics, using it for the Moda bom. Have a blessed day and thanks for giveaway!
Hi Corey
I’m so excited to use the Abloom panel! I love adding embroidery to my quilting projects!
I love doing hand embroidery! It’s so relaxing! (To the point that I fall asleep with the needle in my hand!)
I’ve never incorporated cross stitch into a quilting project but you’ve inspired me to give it a try. Love your Saturday morning videos. Thank you so much!
This runner is so sweet! I love using panels, so this is going to be fun!
Good morning Corey! I love your Saturday morning videos although I usually have to binge watch a few at a time with work. Thank you for everything you share with us quilters!
The table runner colors are yummy and would look great in my home. Your colors are always very inviting and i like to work with them. Coriander Seeds backgrounds are the best! I like to use a table runner on my raised brick hearth to add seasonal cheer to my room.
I love my Saturday mornings spent with Corey and all the great things you teach or show us! Thank you for your generosity in your giveaways!
Hi. I have not cross stitched in years. Watching you stitch your panel block gave me a desire to try again.
Saturdays with Corey are the best!💓
What a beautiful table runner. I recently made two runners from leftover fabric of a quilt I’d made. I had never made any before. I hope to make more in the future.
Just finished the Riley Blake sew along and used my leftover Cori&Co. fabrics. Not sure I love the quilt as a whole but loved using your fabrics. Thanks for all you do to help us create beautiful quilts.
Love all your videos, you are such an inspiration to me, keep up the good work
The table runner is so beautiful! I would love to win it.
Love your saturday videos! I got my Sew Sampler box and was thrilled to see your fabric! I can’t wait to make the quilt!.
I enjoy your blog! I’m looking forward to traveling in 3 weeks and getting to see so much family!
I love the table runner. If I was fortunate enough to win it. I would make it into a small wall hanging. I would hang it vertical and put it on my pantry door.
Hi Corey- I loved today’s video. Great information about the embroidery on the abloom fabric! I would love to win the table runner. I would love to see all the bags you have made. I would like to make more bags, but like you, I see tye snaps etc on a pattern and I tend to shy away! 😁
Good morning, I love your Saturday videos! I am really excited this week about making progress on a quilt for my daughter in law. It has lots of piecing and I am finally getting better with that skill. I have learned so much from you. Have a great week!
Good morning,
I think the table runner is so bright and happy. I just started long arming and would love to be able to finish it. Hope the wildlife will leave your garden alone.
The table runner is so pretty. I’d love to finish it and use it on my dresser or buffet. I really e joy your Saturday videos

Also shape flex is my number one interfacing to use I use it on all my tshirt quilts and my machine embroidery
Looking forward to your truncated show in October
And thanks for all you do for us quilters
Love the colors in the table runner. A soft orange is my favorite color. I look forward to your videos every Saturday. BTW, that shirt you were wearing is a beautiful color on you.
I’m currently using your Abloom fabrics for a new collection to sell in my gift shop and at craft fairs! I just LOVE the colors and patterns! Thank you so much for creating such pretty things for us to sew with! 😊❤️😊
I love the colors in Apricot and Ash! The table runner is beautiful. We have had or will have 6 busy weekends in a row. My 2 oldest grandsons are turning 21. We celebrated the older of the 2 last weekend with our family playing miniature golf and family barbecue. Very fun. Next up is a string of grad parties! And the final weekend, 4th of July weekend we will celebrate the other grandson’s 21st birthday. Fun filled 6 weeks.
What a cute runner! For some reason, the thought of cutting into those panels makes me so anxious. I have the Beautiful Day panel & can’t seem to get myself to cut into it. I need to get over it because I love projects made using them!
Love the table runner , videos are great, hand quilting would look so pretty too
My hands won’t let me do needlework anymore – but I can still run my sewing machine!!!
The runner is lovely, nice giveaway.
Hi Corey,
I look forward to Saturdays to spend time with you. I’m just opening My in the Garden bundle#20. 🥰
I did this in beautiful day and this looks amazing in abloom. Thanks for you fun and informative videos.
Loved today’s video and the idea of letting go of a project that no longer inspires is a great idea. I love the table runner, and I’m having a blast with the monthly challenge. Keep up the great work, Corey. You inspire us.
Your fabric collections are so beautiful, I always look forward to new ones coming out!!
Love the embroidery tutorial. I ordered a sew sampler box and will consider doing this embroidery on it.
I’m enjoying the monthly challenge and the accountability it brings. The idea of passing along a project no longer inspiring is also helpful. I love the runner. You inspire us, Corey. Keep it up.
I have the abloom panel and love seeing everything you have made with abloom. Would love to win the table runner, I am learning to quilt on my 10 needle embroidery machine. The table runner would be a good one for me to quilt on my 10 needle.
Oh, I love the your table runner and would love to finish it. I even have some Apricot & Ash that would be the perfect backing. Thank you for your weekly videos, I always look forward to them.
uld I facilitate a church group called Funtimers. We are senior ladies who do not see ourselves as old timers and get together regularly for fun. We construct blocks during our meetings and when we complete the quilt we donate it for a special cause. This year we will embroider your ABloom panel and incorporate it in a project. We would love to win your runner, finish it and donate it for a good cause.
You made me smile this morning. Your fabric and work is what I aspire to be able to accomplish one day! I have gotten quilted two quilts that I worked on years ago and it really makes me happy that I finished them. Working on finishing another one this month. Have a great week.
I just purchased my Abloom panel and can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Good morning! I am inspired to do some hand work on the Abloom panel. I haven’t done cross stitch in many years. Love the colors of the table runner.
Love the table runner. Thanks for sharing.
I’d love to have your beautiful table runner on my dinning room table! It would be a nice daily reminder to pray for you and your family.
Thanks for the opportunity!
Take care! Bonnie
I love the colors in today’s chat and I liked the fact that you have not finished your “get it done” monthly challenge. Thanks for giving it away to someone who will surely cherish it, since it was created by YOU> Debbie
I enjoy piecing but sometimes finishing a project is not In the stars. However, if a friend asks for help finishing their project I’m all over it. I can’t explain it. Love the idea of letting it go rather than storing it in the closet. I think I’ll bring a couple of my UFO’s to the guild for someone else to enjoy. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks for all you do. Lovely table runner.
Love your new Abloom and this tablerunner is awesome Corey! Thank you for all you do for your quilting fans and followers🧡
Thank you so much Corey for the video showing stitching on the panel pieces. You answered all my questions, so now I’m ready to start. Love the table runner!
I love the three block table runner!
The embroidery for the abloom blocks make a nice additional feature on a quilt!
Good luck with your bag assembly!
The colors in the table runner would go so well with my kitchen colors. Love watching your Saturday morning videos with my coffee.
Dearest Corey Thanks to you I’m all excited to get back to hand stitching after watching your cross stitching. Your Abloom panel is beautiful and a great way to embellish a quilt. I would love to win your table runner and maybe finish it off with some embellishments too!
I always enjoy watching your videos Saturday morning while planning my sewing projects for the day. Thank you for sharing.
Flow
I love “Future Corey”! Lol I’m going to stitch my blocks for my Yesteryear quilt. You have inspired me. I totally love the table runner. Apricot and Ash is a line I wish Moda would reprint. Happy Saturday.
I love to quilt and embroidery. How fun to do so in same object!
Corey
Good morning from sunny South Dakota.
I enjoy your Saturday videos. Learn lots. I grew up with my great grandmother’s quilts. She use embroidery on her quilts and would use those bricks to alternate with the pieces blocks. Unfortunately, my quilt did not last (used it a lot). I have never really considered using embroidery on my quilts. May have to try….start out with something small. Thank you for the demonstration.
love your cross stitch panel and how you use the Moda blockhead patterns in combo…enjoy watching your Saturday youTube videos and all the inspiration…thx!
I love Apricot & Ash….pick me, pick me.
Love your videos. So glad I found you here. Your fabric is so beautiful and I’m getting your BOM now. The table runner is beautiful and love the colors. I’d love to be able to finish it.
Love the table runner. Look forward to your videos every Saturday.
I am looking forward to having time to do all the things I love this summer. After caring for a family member the last six months we have finally got him and his wife settled in a wonderful facility where he’s getting the round the clock care he needs. I’m looking forward to visiting him but will now have the time to do all the things that have been put on hold for several months.
I enjoy your videos. I have ordered fabric and the Yesteryear quilt. I am currently looking for the thread.
Your unfinished table runner is just lovely and anyone would be fortunate to win it to finish for thier own home so I will keep my hopes up. I live at 7500 feet and don’t see deer up here, though I do see them at the lower elevations as I make a drive down to my longarm quilter, but my cabin backs right up to forest so I see dozens of bird species as well as numerous chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits. This year I have been especially annoyed by one chubby little chipmunk but am hoping the same homemade remedy that deters mice and squirrels will work to keep him at bay. I combine equal amounts of 2 natural oils, pure peppermint and lavender, and spray the planting area with a mist of these scents. Yesterday I witnessed the fat boy sniffing around a new planting treated with the essential oil combo and he ran off without trying even a nibble so I have high hopes of enjoying my garden myself rather than feeding the forest friends.
Thank you for your video today. I am cross stitching some of the abloom panels. I am using DMC and after watching your video realized that I might have been doing it incorrectly. I really appreciate your Saturday video’s and all your video’s your video’s that you do. The table runner that you’re giving away is

We are planning a trip to my daughter’s home in Wisconsin which is a long trip for us ( we live in Florida). We also are planning some day trips such as running up in Alabama for peaches and over to Jacksonville or St. Augustine for short vacations. Have a good summer yourself!
Well I forgot to put sunscreen on the top of my feet last weekend and got a severe sunburn. Lots of feet propping up until they heal so no time like the present to sort/organize my quilt patterns. Trying to make lemonade out of lemons lol! Have a fabulous week! ☀️
I loved seeing how did your stitching. I got the sampler box from FQS, and I am excited for the project. Thank you for all you do.

I so enjoy your Saturday morning videos, and the table runner is lovely. Thanks for the tutorial today on cross stitch. I have also watched your hand quilting tutorial some months ago and was able to do some “big stitch hand quilting” on a picnic quilt. It’s one of my favorite quilts!
I would love to win the table runner, it beautiful!
Dear Corey, I have loved your palette of colors from day one! These blocks on this panel are so very beautiful! I love that table runner you are giving away. Some friends and I went on a self created Shop Hop in Tennessee & Kentucky June 3 -5. (We are from Georgia) At one of the shops, I was able to get a Beautiful Day panel. I was so excited! Thanks for including the Beautiful Day Mystery BOM. Now I know what to do with the panel.

Hi Corey, I have adored each of your beautiful lines for so very long now! These blocks from the panel are so very beautiful and I absolutely adore this Table runner! I was recently trying to decide on a Table Runner for my dining room for some time now. Would you be so very kind as to show patterns for these blocks used for the panels? I rec’d my Sew Sampler from FQS and absolutely would love to make something as beautiful as you have created with them if I am not chosen =) Thank you for each Saturday morning I cherish you and my first cup of tea to start my day! Have a blessed weekend!
Your video today was a delight! I love the tutorials you give. I still use your technique for machine sewn binding. You are a great teacher. I would love to have my name in the hat for the table runner….it would look lovely on my dining room table. thanks!

Thanks Corey for Another Fun Saturday Video. I just received an Abloom Layer Cake and the Fabric is Gorgeous. I am going to make a Friendship Star Quilt.
Hello! Such a beautiful runner
I am glad to see I am not the only one not getting their WIPs done. Also, wondering how many in progress items you normally have going at once. I seem to want to do so many things and work on tons all at once. Slow progress for sure. I am still working on my OH Happy Day SAL lol
Thank you for all the beautiful fabrics and lovely designs.
I have always loved all your fabric lines, and your patterns are well written, thanks for all your hard work, would love to win
Thanks for your weekly posts. I really enjoy them.
Corey, I enjoy your videos and now look forward to Saturday mornings!
That is a beautiful runner and I will have so much fun custom longarming it. Thank you.
Thank you for all you do for the Quilting Folks! I enjoy your Saturday chats.
Corey,
I enjoy your Saturday videos, specially you tips and when you show quilts.
I have been working a list of works in progress this year too. But sure is easier to add to that list then to get a quilt off the list. I have finished 3 from the list.
I’ve had some inquiries on my YouTube channel from folk asking about patterns for using your panel and I’ve been referring back to your channel to get the ‘lowdown’ on how to fussy cut it and tips for embroidery. Love your channel and I’m doing your BOM. I’d love your giveaway! It’s beautiful!
Apricot & Ash is one of my favorite fabric lines you’ve designed! So beautiful! I’m looking forwarding to scheduling in a few just-for-me days this summer :)!
I love these blocks. I’m going to try to find them on your blog!
I recently discovered Beautiful Day from a few years ago, and fell in love with it. I’m collecting it now wherever I can find some. I recently scored five yards of one of the rose prints downstairs at Miller’s Dry Goods in Berlin. I was delighted to be so lucky!
I just spent 2 weeks at Bonnie’s retreat center. I finished two beautiful day quilts! Feeling accomplished!
Love the mix of cross stitch/embroidery and quilting.
I’m so loving my BOTM. I look forward to every release. Thank you!
Love a give away. I am really enjoying your blocked of the month and cannot wait to see what you do with the extra half square blocks we cut each month. Also look forward to every saturdays u tube
I really like the pastel colors that you use.
Love table runners. They make such a nice and quick gift. Thx for your videos!
Hi, Corey
Thanks for showing us how to embroider your blocks! I’d love to finish your runner and love your channel.
Hi Cori,
Our favorite one day trip is going to Amish country. Love all your fabrics! Have a great day🤗
Hi, Cory, I’m taking a week’s vacation to go back to the hometown where my kids grew up, with family, Grands and all. I think I watched your video 5 times because I am going to try and cross stitch for the first time ever. We’ll be road-tripping for many hours, thought this might help during the ride. I was so excited to get the fabric in Sew Sampler Box, even though i had ordered the panel already. It will take all the pressure off just in case of mistakes, lol. Thank you for everything!
Thank you sew much for the cross stitch tutorial today! Love that runner too! Have a great day!
😮 would love a Corey original for my table to finish.
Great video today! So many great tips for cross stitching the Abloom panel. I received the May Sew Sampler box and I’m really looking forward to some slow stitching.
Hi Corey, I just got some abloom fabric this week, love it! It’s been a busy one, my grandson just graduated. Summer sunshine and Corey on Saturday!
thanks for all the video’s. You are inspiring. Thanks for the help on the embroidery lessons.
Thanks for the giveaway! Love your videos and BOM!
hi Cory

would love to be entered into you give away.
it would be a treasure to have one of you works in progress
thank you
always enjoy Saturday with you
The All Michigan Shop Hop (AMISH) started on June 1 and ends on July 31. I’ve hit 5 of the 102 participating shops so far. Many more to see.
Thank you so much for today’s video!!! I just found the Abloom panel at the OneStop Shop Hop in Dayton Yesterday. So I’m gobbling up all your ideas on how to prepare it and embroider it. Perfect timing!!!
Ps – I’m so excited to see how many shops are carrying your line. You have very quickly become one of my top two designers!!! (I may or may not have gone a little overboard on your fabric yesterday…. 🤣)
My plan for the summer is to actually start making some of the projects from my subscription boxes. Also to make my son a quilt of his own. Love the runner you made. I would turn it into a bed runner instead of a table runner by adding a little Abloom fabrics to the end of it!
I’m so excited to have the abloom cross stitch panel and to know I can actually cross stitch on them. Thanks Corey for you you tube channel.
I look forward each week to watching your videos. Your fabric designs are so beautiful. I have cross stitched on a quilt in the past and loved the combination of pieced blocks and cross stitched blocks. Your video each week gives me such inspiration and new ideas. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your presentations. Have a wonderful day.
Hello, so enjoy your stitching. Thank You for the Giveaway! I have always liked your patterns and the neat Blocks, that You design!
I enjoyed hearing about your garden and the critters. We have also planted a little garden. I am glad or our fence to keep out the deer a bit. The tablerunner is so pretty. It’s nice of you to share with us.
That runner is adorable and would match my decor perfectly! Always look forward to my Saturday “visits” with you Corey!
Apricot and Ash was one of my favorite lines of yours. Just beautiful!
Good morning Corey. I love your videos and all the great tips and techniques you share. I have become a big fan and look forward to starting my Saturdays with a cup of coffee and your video. The table runner you made is adorable and I would love for it to live at my house in California.
Great tutorial today Corey! The Abloom collection has been my favorite so far!
It is nice to know that even professionals can look at a pattern and go sort of cross eyed as they read the directions. I have had the same reaction. Your table runner is very cute.
Thank you for today’s video about how to embroider the Abloom panel. I’m looking forward to that Sew Sampler box… This summer I’m looking forward to making a quilt using your Beholden pattern.
Hello, I always look forward to your videos, I would get a lot more quilting done if I would stop watching all of your different videos!!! My husband said if I worked in my quilting room as much as I watch your videos I would have a lot done! They are so fun to watch!!! Cindy Cordts
Hi Corey, I can’t wait to do embroidery stitching on the Abloom panel. I love the colors of Abloom and your Apricot & Ash line of fabric too. Thank you for the table runner giveaway!
I purchased your Sunny Stitches thread and love it. Anxious to get Abloom.
good afternoon, That table runner is stunning in the peach and grey fabrics. Thank you for giving us really great information on embroidery. I really enjoy your videos very week
Love your table runner- I am looking forward to cross-stitching my Abloom panel. I bought one and then surprise- it was also in my Sew Sampler box from fat quarter shop— hurray! Double the fun once i get the Aurifil threads. Just returning from a fantastic vacation in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji— but just as excited to be home and watch your lives and SEW! Thank you for the inspiration and camaraderie.
I have a quilting freind who loves the runnner fabrics. It’d be a nice surprise for her.
As always your videos are very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for sharing with us each week. I work in a fabric store and love when I see your fabric on our shelves. And I love the table runner and the apricot tones through your fabric line.
I had to laugh when you pulled out the envelope with all of the supplies ordered in 2020! I think we all have those “old” projects that we want to make but time just goes by quickly! And sometimes there is just “something shiny” that takes our attention and time.
The Apricot and Ash table runner is very nice. I love watching the Saturday tutorials each week and I enjoy the fact that you keep it real. I would like to purchase the abloom panel and work it into the Blockheads 6, I think that would look so nice.
I am loving the abloom fabric. Looking forward to stitching on the abloom panel. Thank you for the tutorial!
Hi Corey: I wanted to comment last week about your garden problems, but something came up and never got back to you. Anyway, years ago (probably 25+) we purchased 6 acres and built our house. We also planted evergreens as windbreaks, as Illinois is not only a Windy City but a windy state. Some of those were white pine seedlings, all about 12 – 18″ high (there were other spruces, etc.) well the deer loved the white pine seedlings and we almost ended up with bushes instead of trees. I read that human hair kept them away. Well our neighbor, just happened to be a barber, and I asked him to bring home a bag of hair from his shop. He thought I was crazy, but I put the hair down around the seedlings and it worked, they stayed away. The only problem is that when it rains, it washes away the smells of the hair and you have to re-apply it. Cayenne Pepper also works for smaller animals like chipmunks, etc. I made a baby quilt years ago with Apricot and Ash and the Mom just loved it. It was a gorgeous line. I think there’s still some in my stash. Good luck with the garden. Fresh veggies and fruit taste so much better when you can just pick it out of the yard.
Love love love the table runner! Fabric is beautiful ! Thank you for your videos. Gina
Hi Corey! Thanks again for all you do for the quilting world. I am excited to share that I just moved, along with my son, DIL and grandson, to The Big Island of Hawai’i! The house we purchased has three bedrooms, which would work, but my “kids” decided to make over the garage for me, as a bedroom and sewing room combo. It also has a lovely attached bathroom, which I don’t have to share! All of our containers have arrived from Texas, and I am now happily sorting through all of my fabrics and projects as my wall of shelves is being built. I am so blessed to have this wonderful room for my sanctuary! I will report progress (maybe with pictures) as I get things in place. I hope you have a great week, and look forward to next Saturday’s video.
Hi Corey – I made a baby quilt with Apricot and Ash years ago, what a stunning line. Now for your deer problem – try putting human hair around the beds, deer don’t like the smell. You will have to re-apply when it rains as it washes away the human smell. this worked for me many years ago, when we had a country home and the deer would eat the tops of the white pine trees. Good luck with the garden.
I love watching your Saturday morning YouTube videos. I’ve been sick all week so viewing today brightened my mood so much. What a beautiful table runner! It would be the perfect gift to my sister for her birthday. Thank you for sharing and caring to all of us quilters.
Thank you for the video today. I’m an avid cross stitcher, but for some reason, I am nervous to try embroidery— the fabric seems so thin compared to my Aida or Lugana. I would be honored to adopt your Apricot and Ash table runner and finish it into a beautiful runner for my family’s table.
I look forward to your Saturday morning videos. I finished the last 4 blocks of the Oh Happy Day Sampler Quilt during a retreat I attended end of April beginning of May. This weekend I started working on week 10 hoping all 16 star blocks will be done before the end of June.
Oh my! Apricot & Ash was one of my favorite lines! And your giveaway runner would fit perfectly in my home! Thanks for the opportunity to win this!
Hi Corey!
I am excited to tell you that I am starting a baby quilt using you Wooly Sheep pattern. I hope I am confident enough to share a picture when I finish it. It’s for a baby girl. My nursery when I had “littles” was sheep but your wooly sheep pattern is the best! I hope you have a happy summer in your new house!
Morning coffee with Corey is my favorite Saturday time. Today’s relaxed chat was so much fun. Now I see a project that needs to be finished that might be the perfect gift (once quilted and bound) for my daughter-in-law. She loves hand made things, and I am always looking for just the right thing for her. Thanks, Corey, for making my Saturday’s begin on the right note!
Hi Corey,
I am fairly new to your channel, although I have used several of your older lines to make quilts in the past. I wish I had been around for Apricot & Ash, I just love that one! Last year I made the Sew Sampler quilt using Peachy Keen but I recently gave that away, thinking I could make it again. Well, I didn’t realize that Peachy Keen was sold out! So I bought 2 Jolly Bars of Abloom to use that instead. Then the Sew Sampler box came out with the Abloom panel and Jolly Bar. So I have lots of Abloom to play with now. Still, in my heart I wish I could replace the Peachy Keen quilt that I had made. Thank you for considering me for the giveaway.
It is very sweet of you to share your beautiful table runner! Enjoy every Saturday with you and hope you are settling in with your new home.
Many Blessings
Enjoyed this morning’s video. I also failed to make progress on the project bag I had hoped to finish in May. I hope to get it done this month. For my project I’m giving up on, I’m going to pass on a quilt along that I had been considering. Now I have time for the project bag. 😄
I love table runners and your Apricot &Ash would be perfect for my collection. Thank you for the chance to win it.
Love your saturday videos. Look forward to them each week. Also I love all your fabric designs.
Hello Corey! I so enjoy your videos. You go into so much detail with the hows, whys and whats of whatever you are sharing. You are so down to earth with us, as most quilters are. I might not get to watch all of your videos but I so love your fabrics and patterns. Are you going to do a retreat in your new surroundings? If so, sign me up; I can be there in a few hours from Central Ohio. I am not a hand embroiderer, that’s what my BL Meridian is for. I can’t even count all of my WIPs and I am not even ashamed of it!
Keep being you!
Good afternoon, I just finished watching the reply I love watching your Saturday shows. Always learning something new and watching you creat your beautiful pieces. I would be so honored to be able to complete the beautiful table runner you have started. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for everything. Joanne Small Jojo3904@gmail.com
Hi Corey,
I love incorporating embroidery in sewing and quilting projects and have done so since I started sewing, quilting, and embroidery as a child. I was so happy to see your embroidery panel, just started working on mine from the FQS box. Thank you for sharing your love and knowledge of all your endeavors.
I’m a big fan of all your fabric lines. Really happy I have found you YouTube channel. Have you considered Cali and Co for the bag? I think it would look great in those cheerful prints!?
Hi Cory,
Thanks for the chance to win the beautiful table runner. I enjoy your Saturday videos so much. I was able to get all my WIPs done. I had a list of 11 that were hanging over me so I just moved forward and got them all finished. Now I can start making a bunch more.
Hi Corey
I am like you last month, I didn’t even get started. May was so busy with watching my grandkids for a long weekend, graduation, memorial day family gathering and of course work is constantly getting in my way 🙂 I do want to finish the project I had for May though as it is to be for my grandkids and I want to make it before they are too old to enjoy it.
I really love your show and the table runner you are giving away is gorgeous. Please enter me in the give away! I would love to finish it for you.
Thank You for all the content you provide and for entering me in the giveaway!
I love the table runner you shared and would be so happy to finish it. I love the colors and do not have any Apricot and Ash in my stash. Thanks for your Saturday morning videos and good luck with your garden.
Apricot & Ash are beautiful fabrics! I think it was before I knew much about your fabric line. But the colors are so beautiful. So glad I discovered you & your beautiful fabric lines. 😊♥️
Hi Corey
I just watched today’s video. Thank you for all the helpful hints. I have several projects to do using the Abloom fabric. I was just at a quilt store yesterday and bought some more Sunwashed to add to my stash. I love all of your fabric lines. Have a great week.
Teri
I missed the show this morning but am sorting my months UFO while watching! The table runner is darling. I love your fabric lines and patterns. I recently went to Paducah and shopped at Hancock and they carried all of your bolts. I was such a fan girl and bought some yardage!
We are sneaking out of town for a few days and my Abloom cross stitch is perfect for a road trip. It will be going with me…hoping to make lots of progress.
Hello! Avid quilter here! The problem I have currently is that we are remodeling our home and living in my she shed that was also supposed to be my sewing studio! I haven’t been able to sew for about 6 months and I am going crazy! BUT, We should be done with our house in the next few weeks so I can get my studio back up and running! Cannot wait to start up again! I have so many WIPS!!🥴
I love that table runner and would be so happy to finish it. I have several of your fabric lines but no Apricot and Ash. Good luck with your gardening and keep us posted!
We are cruising to Alaska this summer.
Thank you for demonstrating how you did your stitching on the panel block. Also the info about thread was interesting. Very helpful. BTW, the table runner is pretty.
I love your Saturday videos! I can’t wait to finish your 2025 mystery quilt! I’m loving it! Oh, and I also love that table runner!
I look forward to my Saturdays with you. I love your fabric lines. When I think you’ve topped yourself you do it again. Thank you for making quilting enjoyable❤️
I really got a kick out of the “deer salad bar”. I have a strawberry garden that feeds mostly the rabbits here in Southern California. I love your fabrics and enjoy your Saturday videos! Thank you for all you do.
Love the videos! Just found your you tube channel and live how down to earth they are! Definitely a subscriber now!
The colors in the table runner are so sweet. I’d love to win it, finish it and put it in our church annual auction to raise funds for community projects.
I really enjoyed your video today. The thread discussion was helpful. I have cross stitched but never considered a single heavier thread and its appearance on an item. Thanks for that!
I chuckled at seeing that chubby raccoon. We have had them before in our garden. They loved to strip down the corn and made big messes. Hope your fence would be high to stop “visitors” from going over, deer jumping.
Thanks again for ALL your weekly videos, I love them!
Working on a quilt with embroidered snowmen, using a “Blue Work pattern”. Years ago made one with each square representing a month with a Raggedy Anne square and another with an “Up North” theme. Find them very relaxing to work on.
Corey I would love the tablerunner with your Apricot and Ash fabrics. I would definitely finish it and gift it to my daughter. I can already envision it on her dining room table. The walls are painted green and the runner would be a gorgeous addition.
I love starting Saturday mornings with you, Corey. I enjoy your cheerful attitude and enthusiastic delivery, even during the weeks you were moving! I am moving my sewing room to the main floor formal living room that is seldom used and turning the old sewing room into a bedroom for when my grandkids spend the night. I use your binding video all the time! I love Abloom and recently purchase some from my local quilting shop. I loved Apricot and Ash when it first came out and I’d be thrilled to finished your table runner! I don’t have one that is a spring/summer pallet.
Love watching your videos each week. The runner colors would be perfect in my dining area. Thanks for the giveaway.
Corey I would love the table runner using your Apricot and Ash fabrics. I would definitely finish it and gift it to my daughter. I can already envision it on her dining room table. The walls are painted green and the runner would be a gorgeous addition.
Not sure if my comment went through or not, it did not show up above, so I will repeat it here: I loved the threads discussion. I had never used a single heavier thread for embroidery and did not think about the difference in appearance. That was very helpful!
I loved the raccoon photo and made me recall ones that stripped corn in our garden, making big messes! I love ALL your blogs and videos!
Corey I would love to win the table runner using Apricot and Ash. I would definitely finish it and gift it to my daughter. I can already envision it on her dining room table. The walls are green and the runner would be a gorgeous addition.
I love the table runner! So beautiful!!
Hey Corey, from Waco Georgia! Sitting in a power outage right now, watching you on my phone. Just can’t miss your videos. Thanks for all the stitching instructions. I’m embroidering my second quilt right now. I will be picking up your awesome panel and thread kit. Absolutely love the colors and will be perfect in my great room. Thank you for the inspiration.
Cory thank you so much for your videos. I enjoyed so much learning how to do the cross stitching on the panels from your new abloom fabric panel
Looking forward to finishing some quilt projects this summer! Ordering the Abloom panel for my mother as she loves embroidery work. Such a novel idea!
I would love to win this runner. I’m teaching my little granddaughters to sew and they are making simple 9 patch blocks and alternating with the apricot and ash panel blocks. When they finish it, they will give it to their parents as a gift. The runner would go great with that.
I love how you’re incorporating the Abloom panel with the Moda Blockheads 6 blocks. It’s going to be a stunning quilt!
Corey, I love the colors in your table runner! So cheerful and energetic looking!
I would love to try making some of my orphan blocks into bags. Thank you for the inspiration!

Thanks for another amazing video!! Looking forward to visiting family this summer and getting some WIP done!!
I enjoy watching your Saturday videos. Thanks for the chance to win the table runner. Today was spent doing the Southwest Ontario Shop Hop and Art in the Park in our area. There were lots of handmade items like jewelry, paintings, soaps, woodwork, and clothing.
Apricot and Ash was my first fabric line of yours that I collected! I have always loved this one. My favorite memory of this week has been this weekend. My dear husband drove me to Missouri, from the DFW Area, to shop at Missouri Star and do the Quilt Walk in Liberty…Angela Walters shop, Quilting Is My Therapy sponsors it. We also visited two new to us shops and have had the most amazing weekend! I so appreciate that he enjoys shopping all things quilting with me! I love our time away together as much as all the lovely things he has purchased for me this weekend. He watched the video with me at the hotel and said, that is really pretty! I told him, yes, that is Corey for you! He said, you should make that. I told him I wish I could but, maybe we will win it! Thank you for all you do and share with us! Have a great week!
Really enjoyed today’s video! I wasn’t planning on embroidering the panel, but since I got an extra panel from the sew sampler box, I’ve changed my mind. I can’t wait to start, I think I may just try hand quilting as well. Thanks again for all the tutorials as well as great fabric and quilt patterns! You are really bringing joy to people’s lives!
Hi Corey. I have some leftover Apricot and Ashe fabric that I could use to border or back your adorable table runner. Thank you for everything you do for us. Keep designing your glorious fabrics!
Hi Corey…after recently finding you I am hooked and very much look forward to your Saturday videos. I definitely am hooked and even changing up my color palette to include your fabric lines. Keep up the fantastic fabric lines.
Hi Corey: I really enjoyed today’s video. I have my panel and box of thread ready and today is my mother’s 96th birthday!
Hi Corey, I enjoyed your Saturday video as I always do! Thanks for the chance to win the table runner. I purchased Apricot and Ash and still have some leftovers. I really like the Friendly Neighbor quilt you designed for that line. I’m looking forward to a visit from our daughter near the end of June. Also, I love spending time in the garden all summer.
What a fantastic informative video! Thank you. The table runner is gorgeous!
Corey, I do so enjoy your videos every Saturday. Love the runner in your give-away. Apricot & Ash was one of my favorite fabric lines too. They’re perfect for my home. Wasn’t able to get the panel tho. I would be so honored to win this runner. Thanks for the opportunity and for sharing your talents.
I am a beginning quilter and really enjoy watching your you tube videos. I just discovered your blog and can’t wait to go through your posts. I now have a quilting friend to spend a bit of time on Saturday with. Thank you for all your tips on how to make my quilts better. 😊
Oh my! Apricot & Ash was one of my favorite lines! And your giveaway runner would fit perfectly in my home! Thanks for the opportunity to win this!
Hi Corey, love Saturday mornings, I’m so looking forward to getting the abloom fabrics I ordered recently, I making three quilts, a baby quilt for a dear friend, and 2 others to complete my goal to make my wonderful sister in law a quilt. Would love to see that beautiful table runner on my table along with everyone else, lol!!!
Hi Corey! This week I’m up in Wisconsin, spending time with my grandchildren. Today we had our first hand sewing lesson. Granddaughter loved it and completed her project. Grandson (age 6) thought it was too hard and stopped halfway. I think he’ll take a bit longer before he’s really ready. He has already designed his first quilt, which I presented the finished project to him on my arrival. I made them both reading pillows, using their designs.
I am new to quilting and so enjoy your Saturday videos, I can’t tell you how much your tips have helped me improve!
Hi Corey, this has been a great week! It ended with my daughter’s grand opening of her own Nail studio! She started her small business last year so this was also her first anniversary and has worked really hard and built a great business and clientele, and now has appt’s on waitlist only. She is such a talented artist – all her clients love her. So this week we bought a small building downtown and she moved her business out of her home and into her own Studio! In her entry/waiting area is a mini nail polish quilt made by me- her loving mom ♥️. Thanks for your fun and educational video today, and for the giveaway, have a great day!
I like the chatty videos! I think the way you and Ryan inserted the “future Corey” was very clever.
Love to watch the Saturday morning videos. I spent the day visiting some of the shops in our area in our local and Indiana shop hop. The table runner is so pretty. I like the Apricot and Ash line. As far as the WIPs, I have finished one and have last month’s sandwiched but needed to get the graduation quilt done first.
I love table runners and that one is beautiful.
I would absolutely love to win your runner! So beautiful!!! I got a beautiful carpenter star quilt made with Tulsa’s Sunday brunch back today from the longarmer. This was really my first “adult” quilt that I had sent off. (The first was a child’s quilt designed with dinosaurs.) Anyway, it came back absolutely stunning. I’m so excited to get the binding put on and the quilt done. This was my first time using wool as well so I’m super excited to feel the difference between it and cotton. Absolutely love your videos and look forward to them every Saturday.
Looking forward to receiving the Abloom fat quarters stack and panel I just ordered. Lovely collection. Thank you Corey.
I always enjoy your Saturday videos. The table-runner is beautiful, so nice of you to do giveaways! Every single one of your fabric lines is gorgeous!
Thank you for going into all the detail for the panel embroidery- I had been wondering which thread choice to go with and now my choice will be an informed one! Thanks again Corey!!
Such pretty blocks in this runner! Orange was my mother’s favorite color! I know she would’ve loved this too!
It is 840 pm on Saturday and I just got home from wedding dress shopping with my youngest daughter. That is a lifelong favorite memory from the week. Such a good feeling to see her hope for the future on her face as she looks in the mirror and sees herself in the dress she chose! Previous memory! And now I get to watch your video! I appreciate how genuine you seem to be and all your instruction and your enthusiasm. Enjoyed the new cook book too when you did that too. My favorite CY fabric is Buttercup & Slate followed closely by Spring Brook and Abloom.

Just started watching your videos and really enjoy them. Thanks for all the info!!
I enjoyed your cross stitching. Brings back memories of my grandma teaching me. Haven’t done much of that for a few years. I’m thinking it might be time to try again
Thank you Corey for explaining the difference between DMC floss and the Aurifil 8 or 12 wt thread❣️ I think I need to purchase some of the Aurifil 8 or 12 wt thread to try it out. The table runner giveaway looks very lovely! Lovely blocks and I love the collection of fabric you used in this project.
Another great post. Thanks for all you do.
Hi! What a great prompt for one of your months! It’s so sweet to send something on if you don’t love it!
About 45 years or so ago my Grandma made a quilt for me that she called chicken scratch. It was stitched on gingham using the squares to make the X’s. Recently I’ve had the urge to do an embroidery project. I think the Abloom panel would be a nice relaxing one to start with. So many things I could make with it when I finished it. The things I would do is, keep it in one piece and stabilize the whole panel and use a hoop. Thanks for the time you spend with all of us, hope you feel the love.
I am excited to start the Designer Mystery quilt next month. I have never done one! Your table runner is beautiful!
I love cross stitching and for many years — since the early 1980’s I have been cross stitching. And your cross stitch panel brought back so many memories. I haven’t stitched much in recent years, though. It was the first craft — in a long line of unsuccessfully trying many different crafts — that the end result turned out better than the photo of the finished project of the pattern. I tried “stamped” cross stitch first, but fell in love with the even weave fabrics of counted cross stitching. I was hooked. Then I moved on to quilting and my cross stitching days were limited. I need to “unpack” some of my unfinished projects and finish them up. It is a wonderful way to unwind and calm down. I used to call it my “sanity time” when my three girls were young and I would cross stitch while they were napping. Thanks Corey for bringing this panel to us. And thanks for sharing your table runner with some really lucky person out there. I would love to finish it and use it on my table!
I love to cross stitch. Mostly done during travel because if I’m home I have too much going on to actually sit back and enjoy it fully.
Hello Corey! Thanks for another great video. I’m enjoying adding Sunwashed corals to my Moda Blockhead6 blocks—indigo & coral. I would like to be included in your giveaway. Thanks!
The table runner is great for spring/summer! Enjoyed your video after a day spent in the garden!
Thanks for another great video. I am starting to include embroidery on my quilts as well as hand quilting and your explanation of the difference between 12 wt and embroidery floss was so helpful! I am definitely going to try the 12 wt-sounds much easier to me. I would love to finish the table runner. I have some Apricot & Ash as well as Buttercup & Slate that I have an idea for a quilt for and the table runner might just be the motivation I need to get it done, lol!
Your apricot and ash table runner is so pretty. Im making runners for all my grandadughters. I love your fabrics and last week order 3 of your paytern hoping to het one made this year. This fabric line has colors i love im
Thank you for your weekly videos. They are great! A Tiggsy sighting is always a bonus. Thanks for the giveaway.
I would love to be entered for your giveaway! I really enjoy the patterns and fabrics you share on your You Tube channel 🙂
I was super surprised at the contents of May’s Sew Sampler box. Had hoped to order the Abloom panel and a fat quarters bundle to make a quilt for this summer. But now it’s even better, got a great pattern included. Thank you.
I received my Abloom panel from the Fat Quarter Shop and ordered the Aurifil threads. Can’t wait to get stitching.
Love the table runner!!! I’m looking forward to fat quarter shops designer mystery quilt.
The table runner is great! Looking forward to the next block of the mystery block of the month!
I love the table runner! This summer( in two days) i’m am looking forward to a train trip to gypsum colorado to visit my daughter and her quilt shop/studio for a few weeks!

I really enjoyed today’s video. I had wondered about the cross-stitch so now I have a better understanding of how to start.
The table runner is beautiful! I would love to win! Thank you for all you do.
That table runner is so cute ❤️
What a sweet table runner this is. Would brighten anyone’s table. Would love to win it. Loved your tutorial on cross stitching. Will have to buy your panel to stitch.
Hi Corey, loved your tutorial on cross stitch today. Has inspired me to locate a quilt shop to buy your panel.
Hi Corey, we are heading into winter down in Oz. To win that beautiful table runner, would make it feel like a touch of summer.
Thanks so much for the DMC conversion chart. I’d love to finish your table runner.
The table runner is beautiful, Corey! It would go well on my table. Love watching you every week. So many helpful hints and tricks. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the giveaway. I always love watching the Saturday videos.
Hi Corey, I love your videos. I love your candidness regarding projects you enjoy but also the ones you don’t, lol.
My garden is also ” a-bloom” and visited by wild 4-legged creatures, who like to nibble. We also catch on camera.
Your tablerunner is stunning and I would love to finish it.
Thank you!!
So fun to use the Abloom fabrics. I have soon Apricot and Ash left and they work so well together. Thank you for all your videos.
Love your videos!! Such a fun way to start the weekend! Something I’m looking forward to this summer – two quilting retreats with some great friends!!
Just love spending my mornings with you. I enjoyed see how you crossed stitched on the panel, gives me more ideas on what to do with it. Thanks for all the information that you give us each week. As for the table runner is gorgeous, the colors are so very pretty and I would love to complete in and put on my coffee table in our family room!
What a lovely table runner! I would love to long arm that to practice my skills. If I have leftover fabric after Moda BH6 is complete I may have to download the pattern and make one in Abloom!
I Love how you create fabric lines that match with an older line. I have Apricot and Ash and the panel. Then bringing Abloom fabric will create a beautiful quilt. I would finish the table runner and use it for the Guild’s fund-raising sale. Thanks so much for your video’s.
I look forward to your Saturday videos every week. I love the Abloom fabric and panel. Your talents are endless. My shopping list is growing too. As I also love cross stitch, I will be looking to add the Abloom panel and thread set to my list.
I love the Abloom fabric line. I want to cross stitch my panel and make blocks. I elected the aqua fabric for backing. I’m not sure what I will make but will likely make with my fabric yet. Than you for all your do for the quilting community.
The table runner is gorgeous! The colors in your fabric are always bright and cheery! Thank you for the giveaway!
I enjoyed today’s video. I bought the Abloom panel. I ve been tossing up the idea of stitching up the panel. The video convinced me to prep the panel to stitch the blocks. I am looking forward to vacation in a couple weeks but wanted something I could do in the evenings or on days where we may get rained out from outdoor activities. I am also looking forward to working with abloom fabric with the fat quarter shop mystery quilt.
I appreciate that you (like I) have UFOs from 2020, like your bag kit. I’m glad I’m not the only one! I love the colors of your table runner and would proudly display it on my kitchen table! I love watching your YouTube videos every week and look forward to all the pretty things!
Good morning. I look forward to spending a bit of time with you each Saturday. Your Abloom fabric line is so pretty and cheerful. I especially like the panel you created. I enjoy making table runners for myself and family. The table runner that you’re so generously giving away is stunning. God bless you in your endeavors.
Donna Cunningham
Good morning. Thank you for your Saturday morning videos. I look forward to a weekly quilting viewing from you.
Your Abloom fabric line is so pretty and cheerful. The table runner you’re giving away is stunning. Thank you for the opportunity to win it. God bless you in your endeavors. Donna
I look forward to your videos every weekend. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work with us. You inspire me!
I just received my Abloom order, love it! I really enjoy your panels when you add them into your lines. Thanks for the opportunity to win your UFO. The runner is so pretty.
Good morning. I love your fabrics. I just took up quilting again, about four years ago, and have used your lines in several quilts. I also enjoy watching Tigs. My daughter is moving back home with her cat Sesame. I am anticipating interference in the sewing room! Lol.
The table runner is so pretty and inspires me to try the abloom panel as you suggested. Thanks for all the embroidery tips.
I love the table runner!!!! Also, I have been a hand embroiderer for years and yes, Pellon SF101 is what I use as my backings.
Hi Corey! I love your Saturday videos. You are always so upbeat and positive, which I greatly appreciate. I’ve enjoyed all your content in the videos and love your approach to viewers questions. I, too, have many UFO projects, but mine go back even further than 2020! Yikes!!! I love your Abloom line, especially several of your options for backgrounds, which I always keep on hand. I’m also going to purchase your thread box. They would work nicely for big-stitch quilting too! Coincidentally, I’m making tablerunners for every month of the year…my “new project” treat when I finish a WIP (whatever works, right?) Currently I have 4 finished with 2 almost there (yes I cheated a little). Your give-away is beautiful and would work nicely into my plans, not to mention keeping me honest! Best wishes to you for a wonderful summer and a huge thanks for all you and Nicole do. PS: Love your updates on your wildlife; I’m dealing with fox and skunks and a dog with a strong hunting instinct.
