- Sherbet Pips Quilt–Tutorial on Moda Bake Shop
Here she is! You’ll find the promised tutorial over on Moda Bake Shop. I had so much fun working with Aneela’s Sherbet Pips. I mean really what is not to love?!?–The fabric is just too cute for words. I usually have this quilt hanging on a little wooden ladder in my family room–whenever I take it down (usually to snap a few pictures) my 2 year old always says, “Yay! It’s my favorite–the swinging girls quilt!”. What can I say…even my two year old can spot a fantastic line of fabric! =)
- Quilting
I machine quilted my quilt using a straight line pattern. I love the little boxed in pinwheel centers the quilting makes.

Ooh – Love the fabric and love the pattern. And really love the way you quilted it. That had to take some time. I always try to quilt my own – on the machine, I have no patience for hand quilting, though I love the way it looks. But man, it can be hard to manhandle a quilt through a machine. Beautiful work. (I’m so jealous of your SKILL).

I don’t usually by a fabric line because I don’t usually like many of the fabric designs in the entire line. But this line is entirely different – I like so many of them. And I love your quilt. I think you definitely took the best of the best and showcased them all to the max. Lovely job. Lovely quilt. Gonna definitely get some of this fabric line.

Love the design of your quilt! It would go perfectly with any fabric line that has large focus prints in it. I printed out the pattern and put it in my to do folder. So many great quilt patterns out there but so little time. LOL
