Cali & Co. Quilts [New Quilt Patterns!]
Happy Saturday Friends! Today is the day I have the fun of showing my new Cali & Co. quilt patterns.
For this line up of quilts, I’ve designed a charm pack quilt, a jelly roll quilt, a layer cake quilt, a new Barn Star quilt, and I’ve also remade an old favorite. =) Be sure to watch the Cali & Co. YouTube video to see all of the quilts in more detail.
First up, let’s look at the charm pack quilt. This is Like a Charm. It is a charm pack friendly quilt (it uses 2 charm packs) that finishes at 67″ x 80″.
David of Quilting By David did all of the quilting for all of the quilts in this post. For, Like a Charm, the quilting design used is Daisy Daze #1 and I love it!
I have plans to use this quilting design again…it’s a very pretty one.
The jelly roll quilt I’ve designed for this collection is Jelly Roll Jackpot. It finishes at 70″ x 70″.
For Jelly Roll Jackpot, we used my current favorite jelly roll quilting design, Circles Nested by Julie Hirt.
I’ve had David use this quilting design several times over the last few months and I always love it! Here are a couple more times we’ve used this quilting design recently:
As you can see…definitely a favorite! You can also see in the picture below, the white on white fabric I used for the background of Jelly Roll Jackpot. It is the Vines print from Coriander Seeds. Coriander Seeds has some great white on white prints to mix in with Cali & Co.
Let’s move onto the layer cake quilt that I designed for Cali & Co., All Around Star. This is also the Moda Kit quilt for this collection.
All Around Star finishes at 68″ x 68″.
The white on white print used in the background of All Around Star is another from Coriander Seeds. It’s the same print as the blue print you see in the binding. I love having this as an option for backgrounds. As a reminder, Coriander Seeds is my basics line of white on white fabrics. As a basics line, they are always available to purchase.
The quilting design on this one is called Grape Soda and it’s by Sew Shabby Quilting.
Let’s chat about the new Barn Star quilt. This is Barn Star 8:
As with all of the Barn Star quilt patterns, Barn Star 8 finishes at 40″ square.
The quilting on Barn Star 8 is called Lattice Crosshatch also by Sew Shabby Quilting.
If you are a collector of my Barn Star patterns, I’ve now added a bundle option for Barn Stars 5-8. I already have a bundle of Barn Stars 1-4.
The last pattern I have to share is an oldie but goodie. It’s my very first Coriander Quilts pattern, Dashing.
I designed this quilt for my Prairie line of fabric…my very first fabric line. We’ve remade it using Cali & Co.
Dashing is a fat eighth friendly quilt that finishes at 60″ x 72″. The quilting design on this one is called Stella and it’s by Sew Shabby Quilting.
If you are interested in purchasing a bundle option of the Cali & Co. patterns (Like a Charm, Jelly Roll Jackpot, All Around Star, Barn Star 8, Dashing), I have a bundle option in my shop that includes these 5 patterns. You can find the bundle here.
And that is the Cali & Co. lineup of quilts. Also, don’t forget that I have a mystery BOM planned using Cali & Co. that will kick-off in 2025. I can’t wait to share a bit more about that. I’d love if you’d pop over and watch our YouTube video today!
If you’d like to have your favorite quilt shop carry Cali & Co., now is the time to let them know. They are able to order the fabrics right now to have them ship later this year.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend, Corey
Your new fabric line and quilts are beautiful. I started sending my quilts to David, we both live in Missouri. His website is great. I highly recommend him, so glad you shared his information.
He’s great to work with, isn’t he!
These quilts are all so pretty. Thanks for mentioning on the YT video that you had more pictures over here. They are just beautiful! Love them all!
You’re so welcome!…sometimes it’s so helpful to see the photos as well. =)
Beautiful new line of fabrics. Hope I see it in my LQSs.
Now is the time to let them know you’d be interested in purchasing it!
These look great! I don’t know why, but these quilts are impressing me as having a different style than what you’ve done in the past, but I can’t put my finger on it; knowing that fabric can change the way a quilt looks, maybe it’s just this fabric collection which, to me, appears to have deeper hues.
I have a question about a quilt square that you had posted it was a square that you had changed
It was called the kitty star that was designed by Corey
Loved the quilts you shared.
Love your new collection of fabrics and the patterns are really nice. Love that some quilts have borders and some don’t. The color combination is wonderful and leaves enough room for each quilter to use their own creativity on where to put the colors. Lovely. Thanks for the new line of fabrics and patterns.
Teresa
So excited to make my baby Callie a quilt out of these fabrics
Just got my Starberry kit for the new sew along so exited
