Deerly Loved Pattern of the Month

Good morning Friends! Popping in with another WIP video and announcing the May 2024 pattern of the month.

As you might have guessed from the picture at the top of this blog post, Deerly Loved is the pattern of the month. I am offering this pattern for sale in my Etsy shop for $5 this month. This is a wonderful deal as it’s a longer pattern and typically sells for $14.95. You can purchase the pattern in either PDF or Paper versions in my shop.

My sample was made using Starberry fabrics which should be in quilt shops in a few weeks (end of May/beginning of June):

Here are some other versions of Deerly Loved that I thought would be pretty. First up, using Woodland Winter by Deb Strain:

There are quite a few deer prints in that fabric line that make it especially cute with this pattern.

Next up Pine Valley by Basic Grey:

Both Woodland Winter and Pine Valley are set to be in quilt shops around the same time as Starberry May/June.

Also, Ryan and I filmed a video chatting about Deerly Loved as well as a WIP update.

If you weighed in on my Dresden blocks, you might want to go watch. =)

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday! Corey

Deerly Loved has such a nice wintry feeling in all the fabrics that you used. It would be great in any room.

Corey, I am trying to order the Deerly Loved pattern but keep getting an error message. I entered my name and the password. It seems to be stalling where you prove you are not a robot. A couple of times it asked twice for that but then just did not move forward. Other times, it just stalled there without moving forward. Can you help?

Etsy seems to be up and running correctly right now. My suggestion would be to try purchasing using a different device. Or if you happen to be on a handheld device (ipad/phone/tablet etc.) you can also check to make sure that you don’t have a bunch of windows/tabs open. I am guilty of doing this and will notice that my device doesn’t work as well when I have too many tabs open. Whenever I start to have trouble my girls will ask…”Mom…how many tabs do you have open?”. LOL =)

Thanks Corey. I will check to see what tabs I have open. I did close down everything earlier this week, but they do pile up pretty quickly sometimes. I will then try again to place the order. Thanks!

Corey, you are always such an inspiration! I am not a yellow fan but that bright yellow is a perfect sashing choice & your binding sounds 👌!
A group of your followers started a quilting bee of our own & it is so much fun! I can’t wait to get my blocks & journal back because it’s going to be such a special quilt. (Also special because my fabric choice was Minick & Simpson and I heard as I was sending off my initial block & fabric bundle that Laurie was retiring!) We just entered month 3 according to the calendar & I think most of us are working on month 4 already.
I’d love to see more of your journal cover from that bee. I love to journal & have one at home to journal while I work on the blocks for the other ladies as well as the one that is traveling with my blocks. I want to make covers for both of them with snippets of the fabrics all the members of our Bee are using.
Thank you for another fun Saturday video!

I love this quilt pattern. Ordered the paper pattern, as only have a black and white funky printer. My grandkids are going to love it! Might have to make two of them. Love your videos, fabrics, kitty, patterns, etc.

I love the yellow sashing! It is so colorful! I can’t wait to see it quilted.

Hi Corey, I am on etsy trying to purchase the deerly loved pattern and it is charging me more than $5. Is there a code? I have looked everywhere for one. I am sorry if I have missed it. Thank you, Gail PS I love this pattern!! ♥

    • Corey says:

The $5 USD price is automatic. If you are outside of the US, the price automatically adjusts for the current exchange rate. If you are within the US and are seeing a price higher than $5 it would be sales tax that is required by your state and/or shipping to mail the paper version of the pattern.

I’ve been trying to order for 3 days now, and it tells me “This shop is taking a short break.” so I can’t order anything. Is there something I’m missing?

    • Corey says:

Yes!…you missed that the shop would be re-opening on May 11. =) However, I’ve opened it up earlier than I anticipated so you can shop now if you’d like to.

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
