Cozy Up Quilts Video Trunk Show

Good morning friends!  Hubby and I took time over the weekend to film a Cozy Up quilts trunk show video for YouTube and it’s available to watch this morning.

I also shared a mini tutorial on how I like to straighten and cut the Check fabric from Cozy Up before piecing.  If you’ve been intimidated by using that check fabric, it might be helpful for you.  You can watch the Cozy Up trunk show video here.

If you missed the blog post where I shared the Cozy Up quilts, you can find it here.  And the free Autumnal quilt pattern can be found here.  Cozy Up fabrics can be purchased in quilt shops right now.  I also wanted to show you what a couple of the quilts would look like in Nutmeg fabrics by Basic Grey.  I have been so drawn to Basic Grey’s autumn lines of fabric.

Here is what my Leaves pattern would look like in Nutmeg:

I also thought it would be fun to see what Acorns might look like…and what it would look like with a dark background:

And lastly, I wanted to see what Everlasting would look like:

I think that dark background on Acorns is so striking!  I also really like how the Nutmeg prints show up against that lighter grunge checkerboard in Everlasting.

I’ve asked for votes for which of two video trunk shows you’d be interested in seeing next, so be sure to let me know in the comments of the video!

Happy Sewing! Corey

Oooh, so pretty! I’m intrigued by the Nutmeg line of fabric, too, and would love to see your Maple Charm quilt colored with Nutmeg 🙂

I really like that dark version of Acorns – it really sets off the acorns nicely! I love anything that deals with oak trees and acorns.

I would love to have you go over the mixing of fabrics between diff. lines, but would also LOVE for you to redo Holliberry since it can’t be found anywhere:( Thanks:)

I’d love to see a mixed collection trunk show! I love Holliberry, but since the fabric is so hard to find, it would make me unhappy to see wonderful quilts using a fabric that’s no longer available😢

  6. Debbie Ingram says:

I would like both, but especially mixing your fabric lines. I have leftovers from several. Thanks!
