Free Scrappy Flag Block PDF Pattern

It’s a happy, Scrappy Flag block pattern for today!  I almost completely forgot to share this block pattern with all of you this week.  Thank goodness I was working on another project that was in the same file as this block.

If I hadn’t scrolled past it while working on that other project, I don’t know when I would have remembered that I had drawn it up…and when I would have finally shared the pattern with you!  Needless to say, this summer is zipping by me faster than I anticipated!

This is the next free pattern I am offering as part of my Scrappy Irish Chain scrap-along series.  I think that is such a pretty picture with all four of the blocks so far.  While I hadn’t planned on putting all of these blocks together into one quilt, seeing them altogether like that makes me tempted to do so. =)

You will find the PDF block pattern for the Scrappy Flag block here.

If you missed any of the previous three scrappy blocks I shared, you can find them all linked in this blog post.  They’ve been so much fun to design, share the pattern, and piece!

You also won’t want to miss the video I’ve shared today.  I am chatting about the flag block, my Irish Chain blocks, and busy life news in general.

You can catch today’s video here.

If you were wondering what the flag block might look like in a quilt, here it is:

Such a great summertime quilt!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Corey

I’m in a Featherweight club and we’re making wheelchair lap quilts for a veteran’s rehab center. I just ordered fabric with another quilt pattern in mind, when I saw your scrappy flag block quilt using I think the same fabric I ordered it was like OMG! I love the way it’s going to turn out. It will be a lot quicker and easier to make too, so that’s a bonus on top of you giving us free patterns to use. Love your style and color with the patterns and fabrics, thank you and keep them coming!
