Great Price on Sunkissed precuts
Green Fairy Quilts has a great price on Sunkissed precuts right now(thanks to a lovely blog reader for letting me know). =)
Also, just a couple notes:
-I am using the Gray solid from the Sunkissed line as my solid(I snagged a piece from my precut since the yardage isn’t available yet–I’ll buy the remainder when it is available Jan./Feb.). If your precut doesn’t allow for this (jelly roll or charm packs) and you’d like to purchase your solid right away Kona in Ash is very similiar.
-The first block has a cute little snowman in addition to the birdie–you might want to keep this in mind when deciding on your solid if you are using a different line of fabric. I personally think a little colorful snowman would be just darling if you opt for a white or cream solid.

Just ordered 2 charm packs of Sunkissed! Not sure about my solid – perhaps Kona snow? Any thoughts! Looking forward to the first block!
So how difficult will the embroidery be?? I just love those little birdies! I dont' embroider at all, have done counted cross stitch in the past. Anywhere online that I can learn some stitches??
Bought a Sunkissed FQ bundle from Green Fairy before this sale. Just had to have it! Can't wait for block of the month.
Thanks for the tip! I'm going to use Central Park by Kate Spain and I just ordered my charm packs. I'm so excited about this; I've never done any embroidery before so this will be a fun thing to try!
