Pulling Fabrics
Now, this isn’t a color palette that I would normally choose but I had such fun pulling fabrics to coordinate with this block that I wanted to share. The starling block is the starter block that I received as part of the Quilting Journey bee on flickr and the fabric pile is from my stash. Sometimes choosing fabrics outside your normal choices is more fun than choosing your go to colors. I had a lot of fun seeing what I had in my stash that would coordinate with the block.
Now off to sew it into a fun little block. I realized that since my family is coming over on Friday it may be a good idea to have my dining room table (aka sewing table) cleared off. =p
Naahh, I think they would go into withdrawl and shock if you didn't have all your fun around to peruse 😉 Could you maybe keep something handy for a quick fix? :)… How 'bout the finished number above? See you Friday! 🙂
