Holliberry Patterns

Wishes Quilt Dark Background

A few weeks ago, I promised you more information about my new Holliberry patterns and book.  And, as promised, here they are.  There is so much to share!

I’ve designed four new, individual pattern to showcase Holliberry.  The patterns are available now and Holliberry will be shipping in July…Christmas in July! =)

Wishes Quilt

I will talk about my Wishes quilt pattern first.  Wishes is a fat quarter friendly quilt–it uses 20 fat quarters.  The quilt finishes at 66″ x 83″.  I used the charcoal “x” print as the quilt background.  That little print comes in a variety of colors and is so nice for backgrounds.

Holliberry Grays–coming in July

I had a similar print in Strawberry Jam–it was a “plus” print and it sold out so quickly.  So, if this is a print that you think you’ll use–be sure to snag it right away as I think it’s one that will sell fast.

Wishes Quilt white background

Wishes also looks wonderful with a white background.  For the white background Wishes quilt, I used the white on white “x” print from the line.  It’s perfect when you want just a touch of a pattern to add a little bit of movement to your background.  You can see that print a bit better in the photo below..it’s the second from the top.

Holliberry Whites

And look at those stripes for binding…My Holliberry quilts all still need bound, but when they do….candy cane stripes for days! =)

Wishes White Background

My Wishes quilt pattern can be found in my Etsy shop in both PDF and Paper versions.

Ribbons All Around

Next up is my Ribbons All Around quilt pattern.  Ribbons All Around is a Honey Bun friendly quilt…those are the 1 1/2″ strips.  PS…if you love those and are bummed when lines don’t have them, keep an eye out as you are going to be seeing these offered a lot more frequently.  I love them as they are just perfect for Log Cabins–and not having to cut all of those strips is wonderful.

All of the quilting on my Holliberry quilts was done by Kaylene Parry.

Ribbons All Around

Ribbons All Around is my take on a little Christmas present quilt.  It finishes at 54″ x 65″ and the blocks are simple to piece.  FYI, my test block for this quilt was made using Sugarcreek fabrics and let me tell you, these little blocks are equally cute as a springy present. =)

The background on this quilt is also the white on white “x” print that I used for my Wishes quilt.

The Ribbons All Around quilt is available in my shop in both Paper and PDF version.

Snowy Quilt

And of course you need a Snowman quilt with a Christmas line of fabric. =)  This is my Snowy quilt pattern.  These blocks are nice big blocks–18″ finished.  They are traditionally pieced but do have just a bit of applique for that nose.  The pattern uses 16 fat quarters and the quilt finishes at 87″ x 87″

Snowy Quilt

The background on this quilt is the light gray “x” print.  In the photos of the grays, it is the 4th from the top on the left.  I told you that little print was such a great background print! =)  This quilt, may or may not be my youngest daughter Elonie’s favorite of my new patterns.

The Snowy quilt pattern is available in my shop in both Paper and PDF versions.

Wooded Whimsy

Wooded Whimsy is the last of my new individual patterns.  This pattern is a Jelly Roll friendly quilt and it finishes at 60″ x 72″.  It is also the Moda kit quilt for this collection.  So, when July rolls around, you will be able to purchase this as a kit in one of those adorable Moda Boxes.  Check to see if you can preorder one from your LQS if you’d like one!

Wooded Whimsy

For the background on this quilt, I used the red/green “x” print in the Holliberry Collection.  In the stack of white fabrics, it is the top fabric in the photo.

The Wooded Whimsy pattern is available in my shop in both PDF and Paper versions.  I also have a discounted bundle version that includes the four new Holliberry patterns.

Holliberry Solids

The matching Holliberry Solids are:

If your local quilt shop does not carry Bella Solids or does not have the colors that you need, they are available here (and on sale in February).  You’ve heard me say so often about how nice it is to color match and see the colors in stores but I realize that not everyone is able to do that.
I always buy those grays by the bolt–I like them so much.  Also 9900-200–I don’t know how much of that I go through every year–bolts of it!
And the last thing that I want to share about is my brand new book, A Very Coriander Christmas.

A Very Coriander Christmas BOM Book

I am so excited to have this book releasing in June just in time for the fabrics to arrive in July.  A Very Coriander Christmas features a 12 block sampler quilt as well as a bonus quilt.
I had so much fun designing all of these blocks..in all of these pretty holiday colors.
The background on this quilt is the crispy white on white “x” print and it perfectly sets off those cheery, traditional holiday colors.
I’ve heard of quite a number of local quilt shops that will be offering this as a block of the month beginning in late summer/early fall.  So, be sure to check with your local shop if this is something you would like to participate in.  If you don’t have a local quilt shop carrying the book and/or offering the BOM, you can preorder here.

A Very Coriander Christmas book

I hope that you have enjoyed this peek into some of the fun things headed your way later this summer.  Of course all of the patterns are available in my shop to purchase right now (the book will come out in June).  And if you’d like to see the fabrics/patterns/book in your LQS, be sure to let them know!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Thank you so much, Corey! I keep a list of all of your coordinating solids and update it with each new collection. I wish all of the Moda designers would do this.

Love these patterns & fabrics! Will the patterns you showed be in the book, or do they have to be purchased separately?

  4. Barrie says:

Hi Corey, I just found the Rainbow Row Along, can you tell me what fabric you used I didn’t see it listed I love that quilt. Im doing the Bernina/Sugaridoo quilt along and it reminds me of it. Thanks, Barrie Stanton

    • Corey says:

How fun! I used solids from Art Gallery. It’s been a number of years since making that quilt so I’m unsure of the exact solid color names.

  5. Are the 4 new quilt blocks also included in the new book A Very Coriander Christmas? I just don’t want to double purchase. Thank you Cory–i love this new line and the patterns.

  6. OK–so I want to purchase some patterns from your Etsy store–I’m just wondering why the PDF patterns and the paper print patterns are the same price.

    • Corey says:

Quilt patterns are typically the same price whether they are offered in PDF or Paper format. The same amount of work goes into writing/illustrating the pattern no matter which version is purchased. Actually PDF’s are a little bit more work as they are re-formatted to print nicely. I suppose I could raise the cost of my Paper patterns to cover the cost of my printing fees but I opt to keep them at the same price as the PDF’s.

  7. KATHY ENSMINGER says:

Will 1 fat quarter bundle be enough fabric for the Coriander Christmas BOM?

    • Corey says:

The Coriander Christmas BOM requires various cuts of fabrics from fat eighths & fat quarters of some fabrics up to yardage of others.

  8. Marcy H says:

I absolutely LOVE this line! I think I love it more every time I see it! I can’t wait until July!

    Hi Corey,
I love your patterns ! I’m wondering if the stars on the Wooded Whimsy quilt are pieced or applique ?

  12. Sally says:

Love the trees! So excited for this line to come out. I’m going to do the BOM and now made trees! See you Nashville Corey.

  14. Jan Lewis says:

    Love this line!

  15. I thought it was a funny coincidence that your fabric collection was called Sugarcreek, just like the town not too far from where I live. D’oh, you are near Sugarcreek, too. I also realized I had previously bought a set of Strawberry Jam fabrics that you had designed. The color pallet attracted me, the name sealed the deal (my husband works at Smuckers, so ya know – strawberry jam). Anyhow, I love your fabric and quilt designs. I’d love to know about any quilt classes or retreats you participate in nearby.

  16. Sharon says:

Love your new Christmas fabric and book! My sister-in-law and I have already signed up with FQS for your BOM. We can’t wait to start this Summer. Love all your fabrics and patterns!

  17. Barbara says:

Hi Corey, love the patterns and fabrics. What line is the white on white “x” fabric from?

  18. Judy Baker says:

I just accidentally landed on your new ad. WOW! I LOVE your fabrics and your patterns. Colors and designs are right up my ally. Do you have a BOM CLUB and hoping you do! If so, can you send me the info? Thanking you in advance.

  19. Susan Allard says:

I am crazy about this fabric! Especially love the Wishes quilt. I definitely see this quilt in my future!🥰

  20. Vivian Hill says:

I just love a gray background!
