Introducing Buttercup & Slate
Introducing Buttercup & Slate…scheduled for an August/September release in quilt shops. After many requests for another line similar to Pepper & Flax, here it is. =)
I’m so excited with how this collection came together. I hope all of you P&F fans will love it too.
Buttercup & Slate is showing to quilt shops right now. Their orders will be placed and these fabrics will be in shops in August/September. If you’d like your local shop to carry Buttercup & Slate, now is the time to let them know so they can get their order in.
The colors in this line feature the same creamy whites, sunny yellows, crisp greens, and warm grays that we enjoyed in Pepper & Flax.
This line gives me fresh, vintage vibes and is full of so many sweet prints.
It is full of sunshine & flowers. =)
I always love the grays!
The dark gray is such a pretty grounding color for this line.
I wanted this line to be a beautiful follow-up with a little something extra of it’s own. So, I designed this 60″ wide grandmother’s flower garden cheater print. I’ve mixed together some of the Buttercup & Slate prints along with Pepper & Flax prints and prints from some of my other lines. I’ve also thrown in a few prints that I’ve never used in any of my lines. It’s a wonderfully, scrappy piece of fabric. This is a small portion of it:
I picture it being using in so many different projects. Think how pretty this would be in a bag, apron, ironing board cover, skirt, pillows….etc…the sky is the limit on this one. I have so many different projects I’d like to make with it!
I just released a video this morning over on my YouTube channel where I talk about and show each of the prints in this line. If you’d like to see and/or hear more about it, you can find the video here.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday! Corey

Nobody does yellows and greens better than you Corey, I can’t wait to buy this.
What a beautiful line! I will definitely be buying it! Pepper and Flax was my all time favorite..this may come close. Your cheater print will be a hit also…so excited!!❤️
I’m in love, can’t wait until these are available. Another score, Corey.
One word: GORGEOUS!
Very pretty! Pepper and Flax has been one of my favorites. I’ve been wanting to make machine covers for my machines, I think the cheater fabric would be nice for that.
I am so excited about Buttercup and Slate! Beautiful as always! Congratulations, Corey!
I love that sweet cheater quilt panel, can’t wait to get one! Beautiful fabric!!
Oh this is so beautiful! When I saw snippets of it I was dreaming of all the fun things I could do. My spare room is all in Pepper and Flax and this will just add more deliciousness to an already cozy spot!
Thank you for your beautiful creativity!
Corey I am so excited for this beautiful line to start shipping. P&F has been my favorite fabric line. I pre-ordered a fat quarter bundle of Buttercup & Slate last month and cannot wait to get it and touch it.
Oh so fresh and inspiring! Such a beautiful fabric line!
WOW so beautiful. Can’t wait to see it. Hope a “how to” comes out with how to sew the hexagons as shown in picture. You are so talented creating these beautiful fabrics.
Beautiful! Love all of the prints. The grandmother’s flower garden is perfect!
Such a pretty line and those yellows look like they would blend so well with Springbrook as well. Love the cheater print too.
I LOVED Pepper and Flax! Thank you for Buttercup & Slate, can’t wait for it to get here in my local quilt shops!
I loved Pepper & Flax, and this line looks AWESOME. Well done my friend – well done.
Just calls to the heart ❤ and makes me smile! Love it😊
Beautiful!!
Hello Corey, this fabric line is beautiful. Yes the large yellow floral fabric is very reminiscent to my floral yellow curtains in the 70’s and 80’s. I’m also loving you are doing more YouTube videos, it just makes me happy to see what you are doing.
