Let’s chat a bit more about Starberry!
Ryan and I just filmed a video all about Starberry fabrics. This is the best spot to see the fabrics in detail and start planning what you might want to make with them when they ship next year. It was a lot of fun to show the fabrics and chat a bit about my favorites.
Starberry is full of pretty holiday themed fabrics but I made sure to add in plenty of prints that will work well beyond the holiday season. It’s always nice to have versatile blender prints in a variety of colors that you can pull into other projects.
In the picture above, you can see all of the prints and the different colors each print will be offered in. Of course, I always like the large scale floral in every line, but in this line I am also very drawn to the star print in the bottom left corner. It is going to work so well in so many projects! The light gray stars on white makes for a beautiful background. Speaking of backgrounds, the white on white in this collection is a beautiful winter sketch (second row from the bottom, far left fabric). I used that fabric for nearly all of my backgrounds. The print to the right of the white on white (white with light gray sketch) is also just beautiful as a background. That red checked fabric just wants to be used in a fun summer picnic project. And the sheep!…it was so much adding those little guys into that floral print….they are so cute!
Speaking of sheep, I had so many questions about my sheep hoodie. You can see it in the photo at the top of the page. I wore that hoodie while at quilt market and when I got back home and people started to see it in videos and pictures everyone wanted to know where they could get one.
If you were one of those asking, or maybe you are seeing this now for the first time, you can now purchase this hoodie in my Etsy shop here. It is based off of my popular Wooly Stars quilt pattern as well as 2 new patterns that I designed using Starberry.
I will be sharing a Starberry quilts trunk show soon!
I also wanted to let you know that I’ve been adding various fabric bundles to my Etsy shop here and there. I’ve sold out of some of the bundles but plan to continue adding as I get time to do so. You can see what is currently available in the fabric destash section of my Etsy shop.
Starberry fabrics can be ordered by quilt shops right now to arrive in late spring of 2024 (May-ish). If you are interested in having your local quilt shop carry these fabrics, now is the time to let them know before the selling period closes.
I hope you go over and watch the YouTube video we shared this morning! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Corey
OH MY GOODNESS, the sheepies are precious. Can’t wait for this line to be in stores. Absolutely gorgeous.
It was so much fun adding them into the fabric. =)
Love your post ….especially Christmas time!
Simply gorgeous! I am frantically working through the remnants of my Holliberry and other Christmas fabrics so I can justify buying this when it comes out.
Thanks so much!…it’s nice to have a little bit of time to plan before the fabrics arrive into quilt shops. =)
Corey-Your fabrics are so beautiful and I am so drawn to them! I can’t wait for Starberry’s release and all the patterns you have planned for it! I may have to break out the Wooly Stars pattern and try my hand at the hoodie. Thanks for the inspiration!
Corey, You just keep amazing us with each new collection! I love the text prints in each color. The white-on-white is perfect, and several yards will be in my shopping basket. The red on red is a knockout! Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. P.S. I save your videos, so I have inspiration til you make the next one.
Love the sheep pattern and the sweatshirt! It would also be cute as a tshirt!
Starberry is going to be a lovely alternative to the more usual winter holiday colors of greens & reds, or blues + silver. I wanted to share a pic of what I did with your Sunwashed line plus some additions from my stash. Might there be a way to do that? Love the sherbet colors best!
I love the photos, the colors are so vivid. I especially love the pic where each print is laid out side by side with all the colors in which it’s available. How did you manage to get pictures without Tiggs??
I love your new Starberry line, Corey! So many gorgeous projects to be made with these!!
Beautiful and fun collection, Corey! I’m fairly new to the channel on You Tube, I am curious about the sheep. Do you raise sheep, grew up around them, or simply just like them? Thanks! And keep the inspiration coming😉
THis is a gorgeous collection!. I think I really like the black line. It just “pops”. And the sheep!!!!! Love!!! I am going to have to make a wooly stars quilt and /or anything sheep related for me, love it!
I truly love this new Starberry line of fabrics they are beautiful. I love the black with the writing matter of fact, I love them all. Thanks for sharing and I just purchased the hoodie…
Just beautiful Corey! Thank you!
I’m with you on the star prints…. they’re definitely on my buy list!!!
My favorite is the sheep in the cream and charcoal. The entire collection is great. Thanks
Love your new line of fabric!
I love this fabric line! So crisp and pretty!
This is one of the most beautiful lines you have created
I especially love the black/charcoal prints — so striking! And the sheep print is adorable!
Can’t wait to see the trunk show!!
I love the reindeer wall hanging you had displayed at quilt market! It is on my must have list for next year. When do you think you will have information available about the pattern/fabric requirements so I will know how much to purchase for that specific pattern? I like to preorder fabrics when I can. 🤗
