Let’s chat a bit more about Starberry!

Ryan and I just filmed a video all about Starberry fabrics.  This is the best spot to see the fabrics in detail and start planning what you might want to make with them when they ship next year.  It was a lot of fun to show the fabrics and chat a bit about my favorites.

You can watch the video here.

Starberry is full of pretty holiday themed fabrics but I made sure to add in plenty of prints that will work well beyond the holiday season.  It’s always nice to have versatile blender prints in a variety of colors that you can pull into other projects.

In the picture above, you can see all of the prints and the different colors each print will be offered in.  Of course, I always like the large scale floral in every line, but in this line I am also very drawn to the star print in the bottom left corner.  It is going to work so well in so many projects! The light gray stars on white makes for a beautiful background.  Speaking of backgrounds, the white on white in this collection is a beautiful winter sketch (second row from the bottom, far left fabric).  I used that fabric for nearly all of my backgrounds.  The print to the right of the white on white (white with light gray sketch) is also just beautiful as a background.  That red checked fabric just wants to be used in a fun summer picnic project.  And the sheep!…it was so much adding those little guys into that floral print….they are so cute!

Speaking of sheep, I had so many questions about my sheep hoodie.  You can see it in the photo at the top of the page.  I wore that hoodie while at quilt market and when I got back home and people started to see it in videos and pictures everyone wanted to know where they could get one.

If you were one of those asking, or maybe you are seeing this now for the first time, you can now purchase this hoodie in my Etsy shop here.  It is based off of my popular Wooly Stars quilt pattern as well as 2 new patterns that I designed using Starberry.

I will be sharing a Starberry quilts trunk show soon!

I also wanted to let you know that I’ve been adding various fabric bundles to my Etsy shop here and there.  I’ve sold out of some of the bundles but plan to continue adding as I get time to do so.  You can see what is currently available in the fabric destash section of my Etsy shop.

Starberry fabrics can be ordered by quilt shops right now to arrive in late spring of 2024 (May-ish).  If you are interested in having your local quilt shop carry these fabrics, now is the time to let them know before the selling period closes.

I hope you go over and watch the YouTube video we shared this morning!  Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! Corey

Starberry is going to be a lovely alternative to the more usual winter holiday colors of greens & reds, or blues + silver. I wanted to share a pic of what I did with your Sunwashed line plus some additions from my stash. Might there be a way to do that? Love the sherbet colors best!

Beautiful and fun collection, Corey! I’m fairly new to the channel on You Tube, I am curious about the sheep. Do you raise sheep, grew up around them, or simply just like them? Thanks! And keep the inspiration coming😉

I love the reindeer wall hanging you had displayed at quilt market! It is on my must have list for next year. When do you think you will have information available about the pattern/fabric requirements so I will know how much to purchase for that specific pattern? I like to preorder fabrics when I can. 🤗

Hey Friends!--I'd love to hear from you. =)
