Mini Joseph’s Coat Pincushion

I was excited to once again participate in the Pincushion Swap over on flickr for round 2.  For this round, I decided to go with a mini Joseph’s Coat pincushion.  And of course you really can’t go wrong with Flea Market Fancy, right?  My partner has a very broad range of fabric likes so I really could have gone in any direction with the fabrics.  And she also likes traditional designs in current modern fabrics–I hope this fits the bill!  =)
I used this template for the Joseph’s Coat pieces resized to “wallet size”.  I used Heat n Bond Lite to fuse the pieces to the white solid and finished the edges with a straight stitch.  I think that I may whip up one more little pincushion for my partner–we’ll see.  I have a little stitchery in mind that I think would be so cute.
