Moda Blockheads Round 5 (Group 2): Block 7
Good morning to another Moda Blockheads Wednesday morning & Happy Valentine’s Day! =) Be sure to read to the bottom of the post for a special Valentine’s Day pattern special.

This block requires a number of square in a square blocks. I opted to use square in a square paper for all of those units. For the 12″ block (which is the size I made) you would need this paper size. If you are making the 6″ block you would need this size. The paper is not only handy to piece these units but it also saves fabric because you don’t lose any on stitch & flip corners (if you are in the habit of discarding those stitch/flip trim-offs).
If you used square in a square paper two blocks ago for block 5 then you already have the size you’ll need. =)
As with previous blocks, I am using Peachy Keen + Blueberry Delight fabrics. The center fabric in my Star Bloom block is from Blueberry Delight. I’ve been waiting for a spot to highlight it. If you have a larger scale fabric that needs a larger space to shine, you might consider using it for the center portion of this block.
