Moda Color Cuts
Today, I wanted to share with you about one of my favorite things from Fall Quilt Market…to say I love these a little bit would be an understatement!
Moda Color Cuts were released in the last couple months. I may have gone a bit overboard on them because I love them so much! So what are they?!?
These are curated bundles of fabric from Moda. They include a variety of fabrics from numerous designers in a tidy, color coordinated bundle. They come in a variety of sizes including, layer cakes and fat quarters, as well as a 5″ x WOF size.
I am in love with the sherbet mix. You know it’s my favorite! If you love the idea of these bundles but prefer a more traditional palette, keep an eye out for the Color Cuts coming out in the fall. They are just as good but imagine Betsy Chutchian, Kansas Troubles, Primitive Gatherings, Jo Morton all mixed together…a much more traditional palette.
I wanted to mention these today because if you are still looking for fabrics for Moda Blockheads, these would be perfect. Fat Quarter Shop among other online shops have them for sale if your local quilt shop is not carrying them.
And, let me not forget to mention the boxed kit featuring these beauties:
I am itching to get started on this! Sew Lux is currently hosting a sew along of these blocks if you’re interested.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share more Sunnyside Up quilt patterns!–Thank you so much to those of you who purchased patterns after I shared on Monday. =)
Have a fantastic Thursday!
Mmmm LOVE the color cuts concept! especially if some of your fabrics are in there too! 🙂
