New Baby has Arrived!

Be sure to watch today’s video if you’ve been waiting on the baby news. =) He’s arrived and he’s precious.

Obviously that’s the most exciting part of today’s video but there are also some other goodies you might be interested in.

I’m sharing a block tutorial video for the free charm pack pattern I released with Beautiful Day. Do you remember this?

I had to see what it would look like using In the Garden fabric.

I also wanted to see what it would look like if you swapped the darks/lights:

That made me wonder what it would look like if we made those coral frames scrappy:

Pretty fun to see all of those different versions. In the Garden fabrics will be in quilt shops this month.

The Beautifully Charming free pattern is available here.

Once I decided to share all of those fun Beautifully Charming mock-ups in today’s video, I thought we needed a block tutorial as well. It’s such a simple block to piece and a great way to use a charm pack.

There’s more fun to be had in today’s video and I’d love to have you watch! Thanks so much for stopping by. Corey

Congratulations to Nicole and family! I can’t wait to watch the video.
I am loving the scrappy version of Beautifully Charming. It’s a nice sized quilt, too. I always appreciate it when you re-color a previous pattern.

Congratulations on the safe arrival of your nephew. If I am using a folded piece of fabric like a jelly roll, i usually cut the gold off as it doesn’t lose too much fabric. However, on some occasions because of the subcut size needed, will lay the fabric out full length to get the most pieces possible from the strip.

Congratulations to your entire family and especially Nicole, her husband, and big sister. I’m glad everyone is doing well! To you, Corey, thanks so much for your charm pack free quilt pattern – I’m hoping to try it out soon! I love your patterns, fabrics, and videos – you are such an encouragement to me (and many others, too, I’m sure!). Encouraging us to not be too hard on ourselves, but to always enjoy the process, the journey, and ability to be able to share what we make with family, friends, and community. THANK YOU!
