New Bundles and a Free Pattern
Welcome to Friday friends. I’ve decided to change things up just a little bit this week and share some fun things with all of you.
First off, I am releasing my Good-Hearted pattern as a free PDF download for all of you.
I released this pattern exclusively for quilt shops to use with their Sunnyside Up fabrics which came out in the fall of 2018. As shops have sold out of their fabrics, they are no longer offering the pattern to their customers and it has become harder to find. I know many of you are still interested in making this quilt. Right now a lot of us have extra time on our hands and I wanted to release the pattern to all of you to lift spirits and send a little bit of joy your way.
I would love if you you would still support your local quilt shops. I know many of them are offering online shopping as well as curbside pick-up to their local customers. Good-Hearted has the following fabric requirements:
(13) Fat Quarters (18” x 22”)
(1) Sunny Panel
1 yard print fabric for star points
3 2/3 yard background fabric
2/3 yard binding fabric
7 1/2 yards backing fabric
Many of you probably have those fat quarters already in your stash, but consider phoning up your local quilt shop for the background fabrics needed. Or, have them make you up a surprise kit featuring their fabric pics…wouldn’t that be fun!
The fabrics required include the Sunny Panel for the centers of the star blocks. If you are not planning to use the Sunny Panel, you can replace the panel with a 1/3 yard cut of fabric. You will need to cut (4) 10 1/2″ squares which will take up 42″ of fabric. This will be a tight fit for some fabrics (or if you prewash). If you are unable to cut the 4 squares needed from one width of fabric you will need to purchase 5/8 yards of fabric to replace the Sunny Panel.
Click Here for the Good-Hearted PDF pattern.
And next up, I have added a very limited amount of “Watermelon Summer” fat quarter bundles to my shop.
Update: BUNDLES HAVE SOLD OUT
This bundle includes 15 fat quarters from a variety of my fabric lines. I always enjoy making up bundles and you might find a few more popping up in my shop next week so keep any eye out. They do tend to sell out very quickly, (yesterday the rainbow bundles were sold out in probably 10 minutes after I posted them) so if you see a bundle you like it’s a good idea to get it right away.
And lastly, I just wanted to remind you that Tulip Market is my $5 pattern of the month and only available at this price through the 31st. I didn’t want you to miss out if you had forgotten. =)
PDF & Paper Versions of Tulip Market (both the large and mini sizes are $5) are available here.
I will be back next Friday with my regular Q&A Friday. If you have questions for me, be sure to leave them! I have a few more questions from previous weeks to answer but I am always looking for more questions. Wishing you all a safe and healthy weekend! Corey

You are so welcome!
I am curious how you come up with such unique designs for your quilts, especiall the way you set the blocks. Do you design on EQ or pencil, ruler & graph paper? I love all your lines, but Pepper Flax is my all time favorite. Still have a little bit left that I am hoarding!
Oh thank you so much for the free pattern….so excited to make this!!! I still have one of those panels in my stash…apparently just for this!! YAY!!! Love your designs!!!! Thank you for generously sharing your pattern with us–I never did see this one in a quilt shop, so I am double-jazzed!!!
Oh wonderful!–I am so glad that you have just the right pattern for your panel. =) Happy sewing!
Thank you for sharing a pattern! I try to keep positive, and looking at these days at home as extra time for quilting is one way to do that.

Thank you Corey for offering this pattern. I think I’ll try using up some of my P&F stash 😉 on this one. All the greens and yellows should make a great Springtime 🌼 quilt.
That will be beautiful!
Hi I’m a nurse in Indianapolis. We have a rapidly growing C-19 patients. Because of restrictions the patients are without family or friends at the bedside. I’ve started to make quilts to donate. About 40”by60” is best. Jeni Baker of incolororder has an easy house that I’ve been using. If anyone at home has time to sew a few and drop them off at your local hospital that would be wonderful. Best if the are in a large zip lock bag. Jackie
Thank you for the new pattern. Love the quilting!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the new pattern.
Thank you for the new free pattern. Missed out on your great bundle.
Wow! Those went fast!! Is there any way we can get the descriptions or fabric lines that those fabrics came from? They are delightful and my favorite color pallette.
I know!–they usually sell out within 10 minutes of being for sale. I don’t usually have very many up at a time and people are very speedy buyers. =) I will list the fabrics used in my Friday Q&A post–that is a great suggestion.
Delightful! Thank you for sharing the pattern. I’m grateful for your generosity. I’m going to go unearth my panel. Allison C Bayer, Plano, Texas
